Relaxing days in a well-furnished hotel with friendly hosts.
Good selection at the breakfast buffet. The location near the lake promenade is excellent. We forgot the key card and were able to reach Ernesto by phone who was there immediately and opened for us. Thank god it wasn't until 21:30. Thank you again.
Too bad the restaurant and bar were closed during our stay.

Nice hotel, with top facilities, clean and well maintained. staff very friendly.
Breakfast is OK, but not amazing. The location is close to the seafront.
The location is very good though, near the lake. However, around 5am in the car-free zone, it starts to be noisy from trucks and other cars making deliveries to all the hotels and shops. This is definitely a minus.

Very good small hotel near the promenade.
The hotel is centrally located in the pedestrian zone of Ascona. The rooms are modernly furnished, with air conditioning, hair dryer, TV and very comfortable beds. Although located in the pedestrian zone, you can drive to the hotel to check in and out. The public underground car park can be reached on foot in 5 minutes. I found the breakfast buffet to be fresh and extensive. Even until the end of breakfast time everything was still available! Very fast WiFi.

Nice holiday with trips to the Maggia and Verzasca valleys in a beautiful hotel located in the center.

For dinner we were alone, the three of us. The menu could be improved. Missing makeup mirror and body lotion. An armchair would also be nice in the junior suite.

Nice stay in a great location
The location is great, the rooms are very new and clean, the breakfast is wonderful. The hotel really has charm.
It was a bit noisy at times, with building work coming from the backyard, doors slamming and sounding like furniture was moving.

Breakfast was a catastrophe: again (according to our neighbors at the table) the bread ran out at 08:30. We were served re-baked bread from the previous evening/day. the staff was hopelessly overwhelmed. we had a suite (room 35), very new, very simple, the few furnishings lost, little "charm" or homeliness The saying "keep calm" was probably meant differently, but it was an impertinence within the impertinence

The newly reopened hotel has the charm described and exceeded our expectations. Central location next to the square and still quiet.

Lovely boutique hotel....everything is new and high quality.
Excellent hotel located in the pedestrian area of Ascona. We get there by car to leave our luggage. The hotel sends us very clear instructions. But be careful how your GPS directs you. The breakfast is well stocked and the rooms are air conditioned.
GPS is not easy to find this hotel which is located in a pedestrian zone.

We felt comfortable - again with pleasure!
The location is very central and still quiet. Check in and check out was quick and uncomplicated and all the staff were very friendly. Our room was spacious, clean and air conditioned. In addition to fresh fruit, a selection of pastries and cereals, the buffet breakfast also includes eggs, sausages and cheese. As an alternative to cow's milk, I was offered soy milk upon request.
Personally, I wish there were vegetables and some non-meat/non-dairy foods for breakfast.

Charming hotel in the center of Ascona
we got a nice, spacious room overlooking the Ascona rooftops. The room is very bright and furnished with love. The bathroom was also very pleasant and left a very pleasant impression. Breakfast was everything we could wish for and more, especially that we could enjoy it in the beautiful courtyard.

It was very nice and quiet, everything was good, we would like to return.
The breakfast was very good and the whole hotel is very good. Comfortable beds and pillows, very modern bathroom and everything is very clean.
Garage packing is ok but we had to pay 18.50 CHF twice for the ticket even though we didn't exceed 24 hours. :-(

Great location: in the old town, close to the lake and many restaurants (all within walking distance). Great breakfast buffet (a second coffee machine could be an advantage). Good air conditioner. Very friendly and helpful staff!
We had electric bikes with us. The room for bicycles is located in the storage room, which is not very big, i.e. if several guests have bicycles with them, it becomes very, very crowded. To make matters worse, the room always has to be opened and closed by the hotel staff.

Despite the central location, the rooms are very quiet! The staff were very friendly and accommodating.
Actually nothing. But we missed 2 little things: a makeup mirror in the bathroom and a small fridge would be nice. Getting to the old town is also a little interesting, but possible. The procedure could have been better described.

A stone's throw from the port, in a street easily accessible by car, a small charming hotel with a patio where tables are set for a very good and complete breakfast and other dishes.
Mezzanine rooms can get a little hot in summer despite having a fan.

We liked. But we only needed a room for the night.
The breakfast was very good. Quietly located in the old town of Ascona. An elevator is available. Good food and good restaurant. Very nicely restored house in the old town.
Our room would have been too small for a family with children. For a longer stay in the room, for example during rain, there is no balcony with a view, as there is only a small window overlooking the alley of the old city.

The hotel is very centrally located. Registration went quickly. Information received clearly. The suite was very clean and the AC worked great. A small safe for valuables is located in the closet. The breakfast buffet was very rich and good. The yard where you can eat is very convenient.
A small fridge in the room would have been nice.

The beds were very comfortable - it was very clean. There was an air conditioner that you could adjust yourself. The location is great. You can get to everything on foot. The staff was very pleasant and very helpful. There was a breakfast with a lot of choice. We would choose the hotel again and again.

Breakfast in the courtyard of the hotel gave us a good start to the day. The location in the pedestrian zone and the short walk to the lake also speak in favor of booking this property.

I will return and recommend the hotel.
Very good transformation, expansion, bright and large rooms with beautiful materials. The location next to the lake, in the center of the old town, is excellent. The staff is very friendly.
Bread selection for breakfast is not enough, too little variety, too little bread. There is only one small closet in the suite for 4 people, this is not enough. An additional shelf, clothes hanger, chest of drawers are a must. We had to leave a lot of clothes in suitcases or hang them on the railing.

The location is very good (not that far from the waterfront). Morning breakfast with radio is very relaxing (especially for people like me who prefer to listen to music).

All in all we were very pleased
Everything was very good for us, but next time I don't want a loft room. The choice of bread could be better. Replenishment at breakfast could have been better. Salami, for example, was gone when I arrived.

The best modern, well located city hotel.
Wonderfully prepared breakfast that fulfilled all wishes.

Magnificent hotel
Magnificent hotel between old stones and modernity, top. It still smells new. The welcome is warm and it is in a great location. However, be careful when you arrive by car, it is not listed and the GPS forces you to drive when you just need to ask through the intercom, access to the terminals that are omitted. Nothing else to say... Except thank you!

Very clean. Solid breakfast. Good offer. Very friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful courtyard of the restaurant. Location in the city center, very quiet, not noisy at night. We ate at the hotel twice and were very pleased with the service and the quality of the food. Interesting wine list with high quality local offer. We parked our car in the municipal car park which is 250 meters from the hotel (reduced daily rate for hotel guests).

Exceptionally good hotel right in the old town
The hotel is located right in the pedestrian zone, the parking can be reached in 5 minutes. The hotel seems to be only 1 or 2 months old and is very modern and tastefully decorated. Our room was quite small but had everything we needed. We ate several times in the restaurant which is located in a beautiful courtyard, the food was fantastic, especially the presentation and table decoration was very special. The chef attaches great importance to fresh cuisine!!! The staff is very friendly and helpful. All in all highly recommended!
Actually, we can't say anything negative... ;-) except that the local wines, to which the owner attaches great importance and which are also considered special (and not very cheap), we didn't really like it... .
