Very nice room, good restaurant. Very cozy with the option of sitting outside by the staircase. Cozy with the furniture. I like these artists' farms in the area, and Sahlstrømsgården is one of them. Should have been there a little longer.

Super nice place that also has really good food, at reasonable prices, in its restaurant. I recommend that you book a table there if you intend to spend the night at Sahlströmsgården. Also recommend that you take a walk in one of the marked trails, nice environment and well worth burning some energy on. But if you visit the restaurant, you will soon recover your lost calories.

The somewhat remote location offers lots of greenery and relaxation. The menu is not extensive but the dinner is of good quality.

The rural tranquility arrived upon arrival. Was pleasantly surprised as we expected otherwise. It was relatively new and fresh accommodation with good parking right outside. Nice to have a craft shop at the reception. Nice surroundings for those who like to walk with sofas to sit on. The story of the place was told in different ways, including through different grants. Very nice staff overall. Had dinner in the evening, very good at a reasonable price. Breakfast ok.

Good breakfast with lots of variety, from eggs and bacon, boiled egg, filet in different flavors, cereals, berries, fruit and several different toppings. Different kinds of bread and even a toaster. A warm croissant was much appreciated.

Wonderful and relaxing for us and the dog! Quiet location, and for me, who has roots in Värmland, it was a rewarding experience. Ended with a guided tour of the old Sahlströmsgården with pleasant and knowledgeable Håkan.

The breakfast was plentiful and good. The location is very quiet and close to nature. The rooms and corridors were quiet at night. Plenty of parking spaces with electrical outlets for the winter. Also charging point for electric cars. The restaurant food was of a high standard.

This is a very beautiful complex with very tastefully furnished rooms. The staff is very friendly. The park-like location right on the lake is very beautiful. Right next to the lake there is a sauna with a wood-burning stove.

Decent and simple breakfast. A la carte for dinner. Very good. The 4 km hiking trail was in nice terrain with lots of information posters along the way. Lovely to swim in the pond by the hotel and the hiking trail. A great place.

Comfortable and nice rooms. Located in a fantastic area with historic buildings, a lovely garden and by a water. Stroll to the bathing jetty and several nice walks in the area. Very quiet. Delicious breakfast on the farm. The restaurant also had good dinner.

All. Pleasant and accommodating staff. Nice, snug and well-kept rooms with a spacious toilet. The food was fantastically good, both the dinner in the evening and good breakfast in the morning. Nice with the shop where beautiful things were purchased. If there are more opportunities to stay overnight in the area, I will definitely book here again.

Sahlströmsgården is wonderfully located by Lake Sirsjön. Access to wood-burning sauna, lovely! There are walking paths in direct connection. Torsby ski tunnel is very close by and there are also several different MTB trails. Suits us perfectly! The environment in the dining room is so homely and restful. The breakfast is delicious, the lunch and dinner food are top class, we think. The wait staff so nice and accommodating, no stress. Highly recommended!

The location is fantastic if you are looking for a stay in nature. Big, big plus because you can bring a dog, which we and several others had. Good food in the restaurant! The hiking loops that are marked were both very nice. Nicely furnished in the room, comfortable beds. We stayed on the first floor and could walk straight out onto the lawn from the room. Very nice (wood-burning?) sauna by the water!

The design of the rooms, it was clean and fresh dogs, welcome, the good dinner, the staff who are natural and very friendly and helpful. It feels like I'm really coming home to Värmland again.

The hotel is beautifully located by a lake in a rural setting. The rooms are furnished in a beautiful older style with Ida Sahlström patterns and shapes. Friendly staff in both reception and restaurant. Visit this gem outside Torsby.

Very good breakfast, everything you needed was there. Missing some real tea though, lots of tea bags with different fruit teas, but only a few bags of Earl Grey. Preferably loose tea next time and liquid honey in a bottle for tea.

High standard of the food. Very tasty and well prepared at a reasonable price. Well-arranged accommodation. We went on a 4km round which was well marked and with explanatory signs along the way. Also some galleries along the way.

Nice breakfast buffet adapted to the number of guests. Varied with toppings, could have been something more for vegetarians but nicely garnished with greens. Swimming opportunity in Sirsjön and a lovely moment on the jetty before dinner, which was very good Pleasant culture and nature round in the immediate area

Pleasant accommodation for us who rode motorbikes. Good parking, nice room and pleasant restaurant. Thanks to the warm and pleasant weather, we were able to sit outside and eat.

The whole complex is very well located and well maintained. It is idyllically situated on a small lake, with a reed belt and jetty and invites you to take a walk. There are well signposted circular routes from the hotel, which are very worthwhile. The reception was friendly but brief. The rooms are located in an annex building, in front of which you can park for free. The rooms are modern and functional, very clean, and we slept wonderfully. You could eat in the restaurant, but there was no choice, you just got a plate (no appetizer possible). The food was excellent and plentiful, and the dessert was also very fine. All this at an absolutely reasonable price.
