Everything was really good.

The promised kitchen was closed.

The wonderful old buildings would have needed renovation. The coffee at breakfast was weak.

The restaurant was closed without notice. Strange to pay in advance 48 hours before.

Reception difficult to reach in the evenings (when returning at 9 p.m.). A bell or telephone at the door would be useful. It worked and a small problem was resolved immediately.

My room was a little more expensive, don't know why. The food was good in the evening but we had to wait a long time to get it.

Desirable to be able to set a plate etc. on a beautiful tray so that you didn't have to run several times to the breakfast cart. Padded seat cushions on the chairs were missing. A thin dressing gown of your own would have been an excellent garment so that you can avoid exposing the nobler parts of the body too much when changing underwear.

Better lit driveway. We had difficulty finding our way in the dark when we drove to Lugnet from Orrskogen at night.

Noisy between the rooms, the restaurant hadn't opened yet, no ventilation in the room so it got damp when you showered.

Stronger light bulb in the bathroom or one more light over the sink. The soap dispenser did not work. A bit sensitive, heard when the neighbor threw up.

It was good but is a bit outside Malung, so a car is needed if you want to dance at the dance band week.

General lack of maintenance. Old houses that have not been renovated for a long time and the standard of bathrooms etc. is relatively low. The breakfast meets minimum standards for hotels.

Tip: maybe a Nespresso machine in the common areas?

Dinner was a bit so-so... The new owners have taken over the menu, but haven't succeeded fully, good, but felt half-baked in some dish(s)

A bit responsive. Had a one-room apartment with a kitchen where one had to sleep on a sofa bed in the kitchen. It got very crowded.

They are new owners, who are aware that there is a lot to be done. They are working hard on that.

The insulation is not perfect because the building is old but with charm.

We were not allowed to eat at the restaurant (we had driven 60 miles). Apparently we had neglected to inform when booking that we wanted to eat, but we had never had to do that before (it was our fourth time there). We also can't remember that when we made the internet booking we looked for a box where a table should be booked (via Hotels.com). You blamed a lack of staff in the kitchen and that you possibly would get a larger motorcycle company there (TWO motorcycles then arrived). It was generally messy in the evening with a slightly stressful atmosphere. Other hotel guests who appeared disillusioned. Garbage in the yard that smelled. A bit generally worn (dilapidated gazebo, poorly painted facades, few and substandard outdoor furniture, etc.). Fire alarm that honked for half an hour, seemed to come from the kitchen (of course it's good that the alarm worked!). We understand that unforeseen things can happen, but unfortunately there were a little too many minuses for us to want to return.

Certain maintenance is needed for rooms and public areas. The new owners have started the necessary works to bring the standard up to its former glory.

Nothing really, poorly cleaned, mold in our bathroom extremely responsive, breakfast late, bacon and egg tea light The bacon smelled and tasted sour, slightly old. very little to choose from. No place I will stay again.

The building and surroundings are in need of some renovation, but that has not detracted from the quality of our stay.

The ventilation in the room

It was generally a bit messy and the place lacked maintenance. The site's potential for fine and cozy facilities was not exploited. You got the impression that there was a new host, who wanted to, but couldn't manage to get space and in order

The room was fresh but other areas in great need of renovation. The trash in the room was not emptied for four days.

The breakfast was minimal. It feels like it's a couple who ran the place and who fixed breakfast for a family. When 2-3 had taken bacon, it was over. The same with some other things at breakfast. The staff rarely checked if it needed to be refilled. There is room for improvement here, which makes the guests significantly more satisfied. The room was incredibly responsive. Although we closed the windows, it sounded like the windows were open and traffic was passing through the room.

The owner seemed nice but other petsonal beginners.

the room was cramped, there were 4 beds and a table but only 1 chair. The lighting was not good. One of the beds was completely missing a bedside lamp. Otherwise it was cozy. Being able to sit outside by the water and have breakfast was wonderful.

we arrived at the inn and had paid for a stay in a private room with a bathroom. The host could not find the reservation from Boking.com, which had been paid in full for the entire group. After much back and forth, we got a four-person room sharing and had to pay again. This is unacceptable and we expect Booking and the inn to find a solution for refund and compensation for the inconvenience. We have sent an email and will otherwise have to take this further

Several dishes on the dinner menu were not available. Several drinks on the dinner menu were not available. Very worn room. Low standard. One pane of glass was missing in two double-glazed windows. Torn curtains. The roller blind is broken. In the bathroom, the overhead light was out of order. A hatch/door was missing in the bathroom cabinet. The toilet seat did not fit the WC.

It was freezing cold in the bathroom and it was cold elsewhere as well until we got the heater installed

Hot water in the taps would have been nice, there was none,

poorly cleaned, old and run down and draughty windows. very expensive compared to standard. very simple breakfast

shabby room. bathroom with faucet that dripped, bathroom wallpaper that came off the wall. smelled a bit musty.

The beds were not comfortable. Our daughter came with extra and we got an extra bed set up in the room but it was an old tent bed that was like a hammock. She didn't sleep at night. At breakfast we didn't see any staff and the coffee ran out several times so we got a new one at the bar because there was no staff there. SEK 1367 was far too much for 1 night. It should also be sanded because it was terribly icy in the parking lot.

Substandard maintenance of the facility, ice rink to walk on, completely unsanded yard. No soap or shampoo in the room, very basic breakfast. This should not be ranked as a hotel, at most as a hostel. No charging for electric car. The rooms are in the immediate vicinity of the highway.

Far from affordable. A clear premium for the standard offered. No Swedish-speaking staff at a hotel in Sweden!

Needs renovation. mold in bathroom, responsive

The beds were a disaster. Don't think we've ever slept in such uncomfortable beds. Slightly cold room, heating with convector elements. Too expensive by almost SEK 1400.

There was no hand sanitizer or other protection against the pandemic, the bed was broken without repair or a reduction in the price.

It would have been interesting to read the history, but also the present, about the inn. Maybe a board about this in every room?

That it was ungraveled on the icy courtyard. That it was written on the booking that there was a shared kitchen but it turned out to be a microwave oven and kettle (no crockery or water) In the bathroom, the soap pump was broken and the door to the shower cubicle was missing.

bad bathroom - with broken soap dispenser, small and impractical sink, unsatisfactory shower corner, broken lamp socket, light above the sink didn't work, easy to hit your head on the slanted ceiling of the bathroom. Also very bad wifi. Disengaged staff.

Bathroom could be a little bigger...

We would have appreciated if the glasses and cutlery had been clean. The man we perceived as a chef should be wearing work clothes. Do not work in private clothing. Wait staff should also wear work clothes for hygienic reasons. The goose we had for dinner pretty much tasted like parsley powder. When you charge such a good price for that dinner, you expect a better taste experience. The "coziness factor" at the tables is not very high.

The rooms are very shabby, cramped, shabby, little storage space, mini sink, everything is way below standard but at least reasonably clean.

The traffic was disturbing. There were free earplugs though.

The breakfast was simple, not much to choose from. For my own part, what was offered was enough, but what I reacted to was that empty barrels were not filled at the rate that had benefited the guests.

No problem for us, but those looking for a hotel where everything is complete, clean and modern should not choose this. It would require a janitor to change light bulbs, fix moldings that fell down, clean drains (was almost blocked in the sink and the plug was therefore removed), renovate the balcony, etc. We also had to wipe a thick layer of dust on the stove before we could use the. There were kettles in common areas, but the one on the lower level was dirty and there were no taps to fill water in, you had to do it in the toilet in your room, which was noisy. No hot dishes at breakfast and the selection was small (eg only one kind of juice, one kind of cheese and only white bread). The staff does not speak Swedish, only English, may be good to know.

Strange solutions for the room, e.g. shower curtain that was attached in the middle of the toilet.

The hotel is a bit run down but ok. Our room was neat anyway and lived up to expectations.

There were icy winds through the window and snowing through!!!! Variety of bread was missing, only white bread, nothing coarse, was served.

It was a bit noisy in the house. The front door slammed shut very hard.

Quite poor breakfast that was served on a small surface despite a large dining room with plenty of space. There were signs about a beach promenade that could have been great if there hadn't been sawn-off slush all over the path.

The smell, as I said, was a bit strange. Plus it had been in place with a refresh of the entire hotel. However, the staff was super nice. The TV worked a little half-well.

Starting to get worn and the maintenance of buildings and rooms should be better. Quite responsive between the rooms too.

Better beds

Very sad that the dog was not allowed to stay in the restaurant! In corona times, she should be allowed to sit under the table at tables with distance. It works that way in many other places. Not least in other countries such as Germany and France.

I missed coarser bread at breakfast.

The breakfast was quite poor. But of course, there was probably everything you needed.

On the day when the rally is run in Lima and almost all guests need to travel on at about 07:30, breakfast should be served at 07:00, as it happens at other hotels, for example in Malung.

Extremely responsive between the rooms and also outside (road next to the house) Admittedly, there were earplugs in the room. Hard bed. Crowded with cars in the yard. No car in the parking lot.

During our stay, a piece of ice fell from the roof and damaged another guest's car. It could just as well have resulted in an injury to a person. Not good and the area closest to the house should be cordoned off so no one can either walk or park a car there. In addition to the accident, it was extremely slippery in the yard when we arrived in the evening and it was not sandy which resulted in us having to stay in the car to get there at all and I changed to studded shoes to be able to get to/between the different houses .

The noise level from the traffic outside. Could not have the window open.. Very cramped bath/toilet space with a noisy sound when flushing.

As is often the case in Sweden, there are no German TV shows in the hall. The same. So we had to help ourselves with WLAN streaming to a tablet (iPad). The wet room with toilet, washbasin and shower was small and without enough storage space or hooks. The pressure in the shower was so low that the skin was freed from soap for a long time. When the window is open, street noise interferes. The price for a double room at 1195 SEK per night was way too high compared to other accommodations during our nearly 3 week trip through Scandinavia.

The reception was disappointing. We arrived an hour early and were just sent on foot. The owners were not present and we were told there was not enough staff (not really our problem, right?) The pictures on booking.com look better than they really are. The hotel is clearly in need of refurbishment (exterior and rooms) The rooms are very noisy. The wooden mosquito window was broken... so the room is full of mosquitoes. You cannot call a bathroom a bathroom. Efin... good hotel for 1 night.

The room was too small, but the beds were comfortable and good. The bathroom was also very small and uncomfortable. Now I feel a bit whiny, but in conclusion I can say that I will probably book again, but then want to stay in a different room.

Better room standard would be desirable
