Thorsby is 48 km from the holiday home, while Wansbrough is 31 km away.
The cottage has everything you need. Toilet, shower, heating, electrics, new refrigerator, stove, microwave (not used), utensils appropriate. Garden chairs with table and lots of space throughout the house.
We stayed here at the end of June beginning of July. WARNING: Extreme fly plague. Especially early in the morning and in the evening when the sun disappears. I suggested that the landlord provide at least 1 window with a mosquito net. To be able to open the window at night. Otherwise, all windows must remain strictly closed, otherwise you won’t fall asleep at night. Towels were only on request. Take duvet covers and pillows with you.
When I went there with my partner, we lacked a double bed, a bit boring to sleep in separate rooms. And we missed television.
The owner is friendly and caring but not intrusive. The log house is built in a traditional style, but it has everything you need for 4 people. Two small cozy bedrooms, each with a single bed, a bunk bed in the living room, a small fully equipped kitchen and a toilet with a shower and a washbasin. Ideal for anglers, hikers and nature lovers. In any case, we were very pleased.
Actually a nice cottage but it was incredibly dirty and run down inside. The water was cloudy. No instructions or welcome from the host. Unfortunately very disappointed.
