Overall fantastically nice but I wish I had packed earplugs.😊
Very beautifully decorated and modern bathroom and kitchen. Good location and quiet area close to nature. Very friendly and accommodating staff.
Very responsive. Despite recently renovated bathrooms, a bit of a "pussy" smell. Would need anti-pee spray or something that hides the smell. Slightly stained floor plinths, cupboard doors and doors and dusty on top of the fridge and under the TV, otherwise very well cleaned.

Simple but good Vandrarhem
Bright, clean room with balcony access, good beds, large self-cooking kitchen with lounge, quiet location, very good breakfast buffet (surcharge) in nearby Hälsingegården (2 km).
Information about check-in only in Swedish and only about parking/door opening but not about room availability. This required further contact

Positive.
It was a very good breakfast that was served at Helsingegården. The downside was that we "had" to move, but on the other hand it was an oversight on my part when I booked Gästi's. So the move was worth it.
It got a bit confusing for a while, as there are many "Hälsingegården" but we were going to Helsingegården, which resulted in a bit of sightseeing in the area.

Beautiful location in nice and fresh accommodation. Affordable
Fantastically beautiful location. Fresh room and bathroom. Friendly reception. We bought breakfast and it was served 2 km from our accommodation, and since we took the train it was a nice morning walk. The staff was kind and drove us to the train station.

Affordable accommodation in quiet surroundings and beautiful nature.
Central location in Järvsö and beautiful view of Ljusnan, forest & Järvsö heel. Close to the swimming area. Good & well-equipped kitchen, cozy hostel.
Stuff in the sink in the one toilet and no paper towels in the kitchen.

It was very responsive and there was a lot of banging on doors. Long walk to the other hostel for breakfast. Good idea to bring your own.

Stayed 3 nights and had wonderful days in Järvsö.
the accommodation is close to everything but still a bit secluded with a view of Ljusnan, so beautiful! fresh kitchen with very good equipment. Homely and functional.

Good hostel in a nice location
Easy to check in and out, nice owners, well equipped and fresh kitchen and good location with nice view and swimming nearby.
A bit sad that the breakfast tray has disappeared as an option.

Very good, like at home !!!
Comfortable, very well equipped, very clean. The arrival is a bit special for us. There is an indication on the door that we did not read, with a telephone number to call upon arrival. We are a French family who speak little English and to our delight we came across a lady who was cleaning the premises. She was able to call for us, I thanked her again.
Parking not big enough or not very clear for us to understand.

We would love to stay at Gästgivars again.
The location, the price and the pleasant treatment of the staff. That the price for the breakfast buffet option at Hälsingegården costs the same as the breakfast tray at Gästgivars.
That Hälsingegården was closed when we were there, because we were looking forward to the breakfast buffet, but then we got the chance to try the breakfast tray and it was excellent. Nothing to dislike in other words.

Sun, good food and lovely slopes!
Scrumptious! Fresh, plenty, good porridge, good bread. Very exciting caviar clamp and also a beautiful egg divider. Great and friendly staff!
The inner shoes were difficult to find in the right size. Maybe they should put some kid 🐥 or pensioner 👯 to mark the sizes.

Very good accommodation with a central location.
Great location and easy check-in via phone. The breakfast at Helsingegården was very good!
It is responsive. It wasn't that it bothered us, but it can be good to be aware of in case you feel that this is important. It's a petite thing, but we lacked dl measures in the kitchen.

Affordable, practical and fresh accommodation
Very good location in nice Järvsö. Very affordable. Nice, practical and fresh kitchen.
The entrance was a little cramped, but realize that it is difficult to do anything about it. Mostly a side note. Little social space if you are going to spend a lot of time there.

Charming stay
Charming and stylish bedroom, clean and cozy throughout the house, a few minutes from the center by walking, lovely view from the bedroom, quiet and peaceful
No one was there to welcome us. Only got in touch with mobile phone even to get the code to the door. Wondering what to do when you don't have a mobile phone on you or when the phone battery is dead

Small and familiar accommodation
Great location towards Ljusnan, large and good kitchen, familiar.
Quite responsive rooms. A fire alarm that went off, which no one really knew why, and which no one came to check.

A wonderful stay!
A very good and nutritious breakfast, a large and lovely terrace with a beautiful view, a kitchen and family room that had everything you could expect, and a very nice staff. Järvsö in general has everything to offer, and in addition a very beautiful nature. and last but not least, I would like to pay tribute to the stone farm theater with these fantastic actors
Now if I have to complain about something, we were missing one more pillow, otherwise it's hard to find any more faults.

Clean and neat
Responsive and doors that lacked both insulation and soft-closing functions. One tip is to either remove the automation that is installed to keep doors closed or to simply put rubber strips to dampen the noise that occurs.

Met the expectations we had after choosing the accommodation based on the reviews we read.
Good location. Nice and clean. Pleasant room with a wonderful view from the balcony. Quick and easy payment via swish.

The stay was ok, nothing more. Thought you could pay on the spot, not everyone who has a bank ID.
Glad we chose not to buy the breakfast.
Thought the breakfast selection was very poor for the price. You apparently had to cook it yourself and also wash up after yourself.

Felt fresh and personal
It was incredibly easy to book, check in and very nice staff. Everything was done via mobile phone or the internet and there were no problems Highly recommended
It would be a plus if there was salt and pepper because we had no intention of buying it anyway because it is a fresh kitchen that is easy to cook in Another microphone would also be an extra plus 👍

Lovely weekend in a nice atmosphere!
Good location, easy to get from the train. Nice room with a view of the water. Great breakfast! Close to hiking trails.
The breakfast buffet was served at another hostel some distance away.

Nice, affordable accommodation with helpful staff who, however, rarely answered the phone.
Comfortable beds, beautiful view, large bathroom, nice family room. Easy to regulate the heat in the rooms, nice underfloor heating in winter. Good and affordable breakfast if you went to Helsingegården.
Extremely small and poorly lit hall - becomes very crowded with shoes, clothes, boots etc. The staff were nice and very helpful when you got hold of them. Many times I called and got to an answering machine where I left a message and asked them to call back - but they never did. Very slippery at the front door. I requested sanding, but it was not done during our stay.

Affordable and nice.
Nice and cozy place. The kitchen was tidy and clean. The room had what was needed with well-functioning wifi. Close to Järvsöbacken and the restaurants in the village.
The room was responsive, but did not present any major problems as the guests showed great respect. Couldn't find a warming room for ski clothes and boots, sure there was.

Would come back if we need accommodation in Järvsö another time
The breakfast good. The staff there nice and knowledgeable.
Responsive as only it. Can the other guests toilet extremely well and a baby in the next room. Luckily we had earplugs with us. A little too much damp smell in the hall and on the way up to the kitchen. After a while inside, however, you get used to the smell. More contacts in the rooms. You want to have lights on and mobile chargers and charge toads.

it was a nice room and the place was beautifully located - the staff were accommodating the bed comfortable and the kitchen clean and well-functioning
it was very responsive - a family with loud teenage children in the same corridor meant that at 10 pm there had to be a rule that it should be quiet then

A very cozy little hostel that was fresh and with a lovely shared balcony with a view.
Cozy little place. Nice atmosphere between the guests. Everyone exchanged a few words with everyone. Fresh large toilets/shower rooms. The balcony with a view of the river that was shared with the other guests. A lovely place to sit and eat in fine weather.
The mattress in the wide bed in our quadruple room was too thin to sleep on. Luckily there were only two of us, so we were able to move a comfortable mattress down from one of the other beds.

Good accommodation near Järvzoo!
Nice and quiet location with a beautiful view. We had the opportunity to choose between eating breakfast at Helsingegården, which we did and were very happy with :)

Weekend in Järvsöbacken
The breakfast at Helsingegården was phenomenal. Fresh showers and toilets. Good location for those who want to go skiing.
Small room for four people. Became hot and low in oxygen. Wifi was not available/didn't work

Very nice, it was as you would expect from a B&B, I usually stay in hotels.
The breakfast great.
Small, own TVs in the rooms might be good. They're not that expensive these days. The subscription costs a lot, of course.

Ok hostel for one night
It is within walking distance of the center but still in a quiet area right on the edge of the village. Good, fully equipped kitchen. Fresh bathrooms. You could buy a good breakfast at the sister hostel, which was a few minutes away by car
The beds had very thin mattresses so we felt the slats underneath = hard! It is very responsive.

Choose a room!
The accommodation is very centrally located, the staff super nice and the breakfast at their other facility was a 10 pointer.
However, the beds in the family rooms are not made for adults. The mattresses are thin and you don't like to stretch yourself in the morning. But looked into a double room which looked really nice. Bring earplugs, it's very loud

Simple and clean with a good location. Walk into the community and restaurants.
The breakfast was stingy, they did not fill up on bacon, liver pate and juice despite many breakfast guests.

The mattresses in the beds could do with a change. Both I and my partner felt they were too thin/soft/outdated. We did not lie comfortably and affected sleep unfortunately affects the overall impression of the place. Also missing drying towels in the toilet.

Nettes Hostel, sauber und gemütlich. Leider hatten wir Pech mit den Mitbewohnern!
Sehr nette Unterkunft mit schönem Gemeinschaftsraum/Küche und sauberen Badezimmern, einfaches gemütliches Schlafzimmer.
Leider hatten wir sehr große Pech mit den Mitbewohnern, deren Kinder noch nach 22 Uhr mit einem lauten Spielauto im Corridor auf und ab gerannt sind. Und anderen Mitbewohnern, die Nachts um 2330 duschen mussten. When you lived together in an apartment, you didn't think about the sheep at midnight. A clear sign stating that it is midnight after 10 pm would be desirable! Too bad with such inconsiderate guests. Otherwise it would have been super nice in the hostel.

Very good breakfast, in Hälsingegården. Pleasant environment. The accommodation was small, familiar and cosy.
In one toilet there was no refill of toilet paper as the roll ran out.

As I expected except the landlord was a great person - that's not always the case
The balcony
Very responsive. There should be rules about what applies - not good for everyone that the common room is nice until 03 when others live there and it is so responsive. Tip: Rules as above. Cut down the lilac bushes outside the balcony for a better view - it's so nice - and mosquito nets towards the balcony for cooler and mosquito-free rooms. If possible - isolate for less sensitivity.

Nice accommodation, quiet and close to "city"
Tasted good with a cup of free coffee as we didn't book breakfast, maybe there would be small milk tetras (dry)
The TV selection, the box was missing and the box was a little difficult to read, a little instruction maybe :)

Good location. Close to both the train and the ski bus.
Good number of bathrooms and good shower. Didn't have to wait.
Missed fresh milk for breakfast. The TV didn't work at first. Old food in the fridge and on the sink like mould.

Overnight in Järvsö
Was offered breakfast at Helsingegården. Can be highly recommended. Lovely environment with locally produced products on the buffet table. Open from 8 am. Very friendly and accommodating staff.

It's really a nice place for a good price!! Well cleaned, nice and nice! Very good location with close to everything. We fixed all the food ourselves, which worked great! Nice hosts!
Desire: tips on activated things to do in the surrounding area. Paper towels or hand towels in the toilet. Fresher dish towels

Apart from the mess on arrival, a nice stay in a quiet, beautifully decorated environment
Good location. Nice kitchen. Quiet. You had to take care of yourself.
No one was there when we arrived and no answer to the phone. The host couple went away. We eventually got a code to get in. They felt that we were forgotten or slipped out of the data booking.

Järvsö is so beautiful! Järvsö farm bakery had super tasty breakfast bread.

Smooth check-in via telephone, new fresh bathrooms, quiet and pleasant location.
We had missed information about breakfast, which must be booked in advance. Wouldn't hurt to have a note about this in the kitchen.

Magical idyll with optimal location and friendly staff.
We had a view towards Ljusnan. Lilac bushes were in full bloom and we shared a balcony with a nice elderly couple. The only negative, a minor thing, was that we did not get quick contact before check-in, but that was quickly resolved by even the nice owner quickly coming by. Great with the breakfast choices to either get a buffet at their other accommodation, or get a breakfast tray at the accommodation.
Slippery bathroom floor, especially for our little 2-year-old boy.

Cozy central place with beautiful views!
We never met the staff as it was self check-in but spoke to them on the phone. Very nice staff and very easy to check in. Cozy place with nice common areas. Very nice views from the balcony and window. Nice walking paths and a beach a short walk away. Close to the center, cafe, restaurant and ica shop. We wanted to check out later in the afternoon, which we got at no extra cost, very nice.
It was quite responsive. There was no coffee filter when a very coffee-hungry person wanted a cup before a long day on the rapids. However, there was a cozy cafe nearby where I got one :)
