We had everything we needed for a good holiday. The pool located at the end of the garden is just amazing! Great surprise when we discovered this! The owner is very friendly although it was a bit difficult to communicate in English together. Very nice room, spacious with a good bathroom (we only found 2 frogs in the toilets and a cockroach in the bathroom...sorry). Small balcony with a great view! Deafening! We were able to eat there, one of the best rice and curries in Sri Lanka!

Pool Location

The family was very friendly and helpful. At our request, on the day of arrival, a transfer from Dambulla to the guest house was spontaneously arranged, we were also offered a super tasty dinner and a good taxi ride in 2 days to Ella. The wifi worked great, the pool was very clean and we felt comfortable with everything.

Stayed here for two nights. Guest rooms are located on the second floor of a private house. Our room was equipped with a balcony, which turned out to be a separate terrace, but where we spent our evenings. If you plan to sit out on the terrace until late, do not forget to buy mosquito repellant. The room was clean with minimal furniture but sufficient for a comfortable stay. The only bathroom amenities were liquid soap and bar soap. The first night there were power outages (a couple of hours), but the room has autonomous lights and the water for the shower is heated by the sun. Bed linen and towels are not new, but everything was clean. Breakfast consisted of an omelette with vegetables, dessert (it changed every day, there were roti and pitta), toast with butter and jam, fruit (watermelon or pineapple) and tea or coffee to choose from. Lunch and dinner are also offered. Ordered dinner twice. Both times it was chicken curry, only one of the additives changed, the first time there was an analogue of a vegetable salad with mango, the second time it was mallum gotukola sambola instead. The portion is very large, the two of us have never mastered everything. The hotel has access to the pool, which was very useful to us after climbing Pidurangala. And now the main asset of this hotel is its owners. Very kind and responsive people. We were not forced to take any excursions. They helped to order a tuk-tuk to Dambula (visited Dambulla Cave Tample and Dambulla Golden Temple), before climbing the Pidurangala rock and the Sigeriya plateau.

We liked everything: the hospitality of the hosts, the cleanliness and comfort of the rooms, the magnificent swimming pool and a very varied breakfast. Excellent value for money. We even stayed one more night.

Charming and caring couple. Clean and large room with bathroom overlooking a quiet terrace. The pool is huge and in an idyllic setting. The breakfast is plentiful! WiFi is ok

Family is a beauty. They helped us with everything, prepared a very good traditional dinner for us, a good breakfast. Nice room, comfortable, clean and the best thing is the pool to use next to it.

We enjoyed the tranquility, the pool, the animals. But also the fact that our hosts will take care of everything: breakfast and dinner, taxi or tuk-tuk. Prices are in line with what exists according to what we have observed. Our hosts were really there to help us with our tours. Sometimes it's a bit difficult to understand each other in English, but our English isn't necessarily perfect.

Advice on the queue for Sigiriya Rock - to the right of the main there is a path along which you can climb without a queue! Why were we the only ones...
