Nice hotel for a secluded getaway
A very colorful hotel with a quiet clean beach with shiny sand and a convenient entrance to the sea. A very unique and pleasant area. Friendly staff. Delicious food in the restaurant. Unusual bungalows. For dinner on the beach, many delicious seafood are prepared.
The rooms are small, it is cramped to stay in them with a child. The hotel is located on the outskirts, there is not a single store nearby, in the hotel itself, too, if you forgot to buy something, this is a problem. We didn't have sunscreen. For some guests, a courier is sent from the reception, but they refused to help us, the child was burned in the sun.

Nice area a little out of the way
- Good facility - very nice beach - Very nice staff
- Secluded. However, it was clear to us. - Expensive for excursions and transport. If you take care of excursions or drivers yourself, you pay 50-80% less.

we will be back
great place, we loved it. Very nice, big rooms, simply furnished but everything you need is there. Super delicious food and the staff were very friendly and nice. Once there were elephants in the hotel, it was an experience

Service is absolutely top notch, jungle feel to relax!
The service was absolutely great! Very helpful staff in the restaurant, in the bar to the lifeguard on the beach! The food was really excellent, just too much! The whole atmosphere in the mature garden is extraordinary, the name "Jungle" sums it up!
Direct location on the beach and comfortable sun loungers are great! Unfortunately, only the beach closest to the hotel is kept clean - there is a lot of garbage to the right and left of it! No infrastructure (no cafes, bars, shops nearby). 15 minutes by tuk tuk to the next small store, everything is very run down!

Very nice stay, especially the boat safari!!
The staff is super friendly, attentive and helpful! The boat safari was really great, the naturalist was great, the food was amazing... The facility was beautiful. As we were mistakenly told that the boat safari was included in the price, we were generously not charged for it. Very worthy!
The villas are quite simply equipped, maybe due to environmental requirements, but I found them too expensive for that.

Secluded place. Full relax. Great ocean.
The hotel has a very cool design. The bungalow met our expectations, although there were problems with the settlement. Booked a beach bungalow. Settled first in the jungle bungalow. After we said that we had booked for the beach, they changed our bungalow. The breakfasts are excellent, the chef cooks delicious food. True, if you stay at the hotel for more than 5 days, then they will get bored. The staff is friendly and welcoming. There were problems with only one waiter, who, having learned that we were from Russia, began to treat us with disdain, which caused us discomfort and some problems at lunch and breakfast. And when I ordered empty rice for myself, he was very indignant. And I felt very bad and my intestines could not cope with any other food. The rest of the staff are excellent, all very smiling and welcoming. It is evident that they are passionate about their work. We had dinner at the restaurant on the beach, very nice environment and light breeze from the ocean is refreshing. There is no entertainment in the hotel. Exceptional rest. You can arrange an excursion to the island. There is a very beautiful underwater world. That's all. In general, if it were not for the arrogant waiter, the vacation would be generally like in Paradise. Therefore, the assessment of the staff was reduced only because of these unpleasant moments.
Everything is great! In addition to the above situation.

Value for money not good for Sri Lanka
Beautiful beach, excellent cleaning - everything is taken care of right away! The bungalow is very clean with a good outdoor shower, walking distance to the beach, breakfast was good, you can take a public bus or tuk tuk to Nilaveli in 20 minutes.
The facility is definitely getting old and no longer meets the 5 star standard. It is too expensive for Sri Lankan standards. The staff is very friendly and trying, but the processes in the restaurant did not go well with us (long wait, etc.). In addition, the food was the worst and most expensive of all that we had on the whole trip - in small guest houses we liked it even more. It definitely doesn't match the price.

Poor value for money
The staff were very helpful and friendly. The food was very tasty and the breakfast was very varied.
The property - which would actually be great - is showing its age and in dire need of an update. The cushions on the sofas were stained, the carpets were worn, and most of the thatched roofs were gone. The beach seemed rather untidy (holes in the umbrellas, some of the sun loungers were broken and some were in the bushes). Overall we find the hotel overpriced.

The best place to stay in Sri Lanka!
Everything was wonderful! Huge protected area of the hotel; spacious, beautiful, clean and well-groomed beach with sunbeds; cozy and modern houses (rooms) inside; well-kept pool in the shade of trees; excellent SPA; friendly and smiling staff; Delicious breakfasts/lunches and dinners! A decent portion of lobsters cost about 800-900 rubles, and breakfast is a whole "course" of dishes: yogurt, muesli, smoothies, pastries, eggs in any form! Everything is fresh, healthy and very tasty!! Also, I would like to note that the water in the ocean in this area of Sri Lanka was just magical! No waves, algae, jellyfish, etc. Comfortably swam and sunbathed, enjoying the nature around! We have been in this hotel for the second time and we plan to return here again!!
The air conditioner was leaking in the room.

perfect place for honeymoon
We were in awe of the idyllic jungle setting. Located right on the sea front with its own beach and amazing food and very friendly staff! We felt very comfortable and could really let our souls hang out. The resort is highly recommended!
