Luxury in a luxury location
What I liked the most was the location and especially the accommodation with this creek bridge entrance and the freshness and care it has. It has parking at the entrance and the breakfast is amazing, everything is healthy and almost no pastries, 10. Beds you sleep in luxury, good mattresses and good pillows. 100% recommended

The friendliness of the staff and the environment. Breakfast though full (continental) is not a buffet.
Despite the fact that it is in nature, the room was quite damp (summer, with good weather and with a dehumidifier). There was not much coverage and the Wi-Fi signal was not very good (although if you want to turn it off, then it's good). On the other hand, breakfast is a little late if you are going to get up early and take the opportunity to visit nearby places. There was no dryer even though it is listed in the amenities. With all that, I didn't find good value for money (a bit more expensive)

Charming place with good service
An exceptional and charming site. Reformed and mothballed mill. A river flows through the courtyard, which fed the mill. Breakfast is included, which is great: fruit in assortment, different homemade jams every day, biscuit, juice, cheese, ham, rustic bread toast... They even had soy. The room is very comfortable. Daily clean and make the bed (as in a hotel). The bathroom is spacious and like new. We asked for a hair dryer. The charming owners did not hesitate to stop their activities in order to inform you in the best possible way about what you asked them for.
I would improve a couple of things: stools in the bathrooms, as a stand to leave clothes or towels, as there is only a hanger in the bathroom, and maybe turn on the TV in the room. It's a good place to forget about the crazy crowd (including the news), but when traveling with kids, as we did, you'll be missing out on some fun when you get home. In this sense, families traveling with children and wishing to prepare meals or have a microwave to warm up their meals should inquire about kitchen services in advance.

Ideal if you are looking for tranquility in an unrivaled setting
Ultra clean rooms, absolute tranquility and a rear garden accessed from the car park (shaded and spacious for 4 or 5 cars). The person in charge of the house is very attentive and willing to explain the best places to visit in the area. Delicious and plentiful breakfast.

The mill house is very beautiful. River area, bridge, garden, well maintained and conducive and a point of tranquility for living. The low stone buildings are very well integrated into the area. It is felt that the owners care about the care and maintenance of the premises. The dining room, for breakfast, is clean, quiet and tastefully decorated. Luxurious breakfast.
We recommend visiting this area in spring and summer as the gardens and fields next to the house will be magnificent.

Relaxing weekend couples
Close and friendly attitude, environment in a quiet and peaceful place and at the same time close to Sedeira, cozy room with heating, very comfortable bed, very neat rustic furniture with all sorts of details, as well as fresh flowers in the bathroom. The toiletry set also includes a make-up remover, which is much appreciated.

The breakfast is phenomenal. Very complete and with all kinds of food.
How cold it was in the afternoon in the room. They put the heating on the temperature they need, and it starts working at night, and during the day it was terribly cold in our room. The same thing happens with hot water, you have to turn on the tap at full power so that the water goes moderately hot. There is not much light in the bathroom. There is no hair dryer in the bathroom, you have to ask the reception for one… and if you understand that as soon as you get out of the shower you will have to walk with wet hair to find it. The room was a very beautiful gallery, but the windows were misted over, making it almost impossible to see outside. I think things like this need to be improved as the place is very beautiful and located in a beautiful environment.

My wife is lactose intolerant and had no problem with breakfast. They bought lactose-free milk and butter, and made their own baked goods with lactose-free ingredients. So we can only be grateful. Plus they were treated very well, they are wonderful and very attentive people. The house is very beautiful and the furnishings are lovely. It is also very close to many beautiful places worth visiting.
The bathroom was poorly ventilated and we were given a place for people with disabilities, so the shower (no screen) was very uncomfortable because it spilled all the water on the rest of the bathroom floor. We also disliked the poor soundproofing of the rooms.

Nothing special. These are simple rooms with no lift, TV or other amenities that some people appreciate but are completely unnecessary in a small rural hotel like this.

Really good breakfast. The house is close to the center, but somewhat secluded, so you are calm. The dedicated room is really nice and their service was exceptional. Very helpful and they helped us every time we needed it, even something that had nothing to do with the stay itself.

The exterior of the house is beautiful. Quality breakfast; Freshly squeezed natural juice, hand-chopped Serrano ham, teats, assorted fruits, jams ... Very pleasant treatment from the owners.
The ceiling / floor in the room is wooden and you can practically hear everything that happens in the room on the upper floor (I assume the noise level will depend on the neighbors who touch you). Wi-Fi signal is good.

I had a lot to say but left what was best for our stay. Always very cordial, helpful and very friendly service. The room is clean, tidy, quiet. We really liked the detail that shows that they take care of all the details - a vase with water and fresh flowers. Breakfast is important for us, as we were traveling on the road and we needed this food to be as complete as possible. We liked it. Everything is ready and made by hand, highlighting the variety of homemade jams (like blackberries!). Environment perfect. The river flows right in the middle of the hotel, so you get energized every time you cross the path that leads to the parking lot. Along the entire route, we will allocate places, food and accommodation. This is the best placement. We will return without hesitation. Thank you, Vicente.

The environment and tranquility of this place. Very friendly hosts. Breakfast is complete and served at the table in a COVID-safe manner. Very comfortable bed and very nice decor. The owner recommended some exciting routes that we really enjoyed. We were in Playa do Fornos. There are showers, lifeguards and convenient parking.
Maybe a little more light in the bathroom as well as in the bedroom. The wifi signal was very bad, it was impossible to connect on all devices. Perhaps because of the thickness of the walls of the house.

REGISTER. Great, it was a rainy day, we called and they expedited the entrance very quickly. PERSONALLY. Very good without words. INSTALLATIONS. AREA. Beautifully and with spectacular care, not a single petal was superfluous. PARKING. Well, it's not a problem to park at the door at any time.
SERVICES. Normal. Booking shows that it has a bar and a restaurant, but they are closed in July and August as explained at check-in when we asked. The truth is that we need this service, especially for dinners, as we spent the whole day on the sidelines and would have dinner at the hotel at night (finding another place after exhaustion besides a glass of wine and driving is not a good idea), but we succeeded although if we knew we would have ordered elsewhere. They offered to store a bottle of water or something similar, a trifle in refrigerators. WI-FI. Normal. But this is understandable, you are on vacation and it is enough to send letters or WhatsApp, you need to leave the office at home.

Clouds, cold, wind: this is the Atlantic, beauty!
This building is actually very beautiful, as described on the Booking site: a stream nearby, a mill canal, and old buildings, restored and tastefully furnished. The garden is magnificent: well-groomed, blooming. The breakfast is also very accurate.
WET room on the first floor. The bathroom had a dehumidifier and a heater, which, however, was centrally controlled. When they asked for information because it was very cold, we were GIVEN 5' presented as a special perk. The room, while beautiful, was very small, but mostly lacked obvious amenities such as luggage space, shelf, or drawers... just a very low handrail. The breakfast, although certainly very accurate, was presented as if we were in a Grand Hotel, and there was little from the Grand Hotel, in general, the appearance that the owner gave herself: definitely not very friendly!

Rural dream
The bed was very comfortable, the atmosphere is idyllic with a stream and a wooden bridge. There was a beautiful garden and a magnificent house. There were 10 breakfasts: everything was very satisfying.
In our room, we are missing a hanger, a larger mirror, and a few more tables to store items. On the other hand, there was little pressure in the shower. Anyway, these are the details; overall very good.

Pure tranquility in O Muinho
Ideal location. We chose it because of its proximity to the coast of Artabra which we wanted to visit and it was a great choice. Hosts of 10 and an impressive breakfast that left us speechless.
My partner didn't mind, but I'm the type who prefers a shower with a screen or something that doesn't splash on the bathroom floor. It was open and my height left most of it wet. But the dehumidifier in the room fixed everything.

Charming country house
The house is very beautiful, to get there, you need to go along a narrow path. There is a common area (dining room) and then a bedroom with a bathroom. Small but cozy room. Very friendly staff (we were briefed on what to see in the area) and breakfast, homemade, impressive. I have allergies and intolerances and they took them into account which is very valuable.
Although it is a country house to turn off, we missed the TV. We thought it would, but it doesn't. Perhaps because we like very hot water, but we did not have the opportunity to put the hottest water in the shower. As a downside (but we already knew what we were getting into) the nearby small town has little to do and little food.

A fabulous place immersed in greenery. A restored mill with beautiful wooden furniture and cozy rooms and rooms. Thanks to the kindness of the owners, we were able to enjoy a moderately priced dinner at the hotel. Excellent breakfast, nice and plentiful, with a gem of homemade jams. Excellent value for money and quality. Great location to be able to visit the area, in my opinion the most beautiful part of Galicia.

Wonderful site
Beautiful accommodation very close to Cariño. This is an old mill, restored and turned into a small rural hotel. It's a miracle. There is no lack of detail in the decoration. Of course, we must congratulate the owners, because such numbers are not usually found. Excellent breakfast, when you sit down at the table you already have a tray of cheese and ham, plus a small plate of chopped fruit and homemade jams. Oh, and a piece of homemade pie, too. They then bring you toast and freshly squeezed orange juice. Sweat coffee, and although we are used to other types of coffee, we drink it with less milk, and this is normal. The owner explained the history of the mill and advised us where to visit. This is a place worth visiting. On the day of your arrival, a message will be sent to you with the dinner menu in case you want to dine there. On other days you have to tell him if you want to have dinner. Unfortunately we weren't able to have dinner there and we were left with a wish because it smelled great.
The truth is that there are a few drawbacks to this kind of accommodation, there will always be some details that need to be improved, but for me this is ideal.

Very good dinner in a nice room! Warm stay despite language difficulties. Nice old mill, nice atmosphere.
bed is a bit small. Unfortunately, there is little space for relaxing in the garden. The location proved to be a bit inconvenient as nearby walking or beach activities were very limited. There are more beaches in the south, but there are very strong winds and currents. The area, in principle, is not suitable for a beach holiday due to the harsh climate. There are only a few hiking trails, we imagined better.

A very beautiful and romantic hotel: you will reach the house on a small bridge, under which a clear stream flows, through a well-groomed garden to the house. This is a solid old, but partially modernized house. Our room was on the first floor. Modern beautiful shower room in a rustic style. Good breakfast in the main house. Friendly hosts.

The place is beautiful with a well maintained garden. The welcome is very warm. The hosts are also very sociable. The breakfast is great and the dinner (optional) is delicious. The rooms are comfortably furnished.
If you have a choice, take one of the top numbers. The bottom one is very dark because the windows in the building are quite small.

Next time we'll stay longer
A very lovingly restored windmill right in nature. Communication takes place almost exclusively in Spanish, but everything turned out great, even with dinner. The menu came in the morning via whatsapp asking you to let us know before 13:00 if you want to eat. Unfortunately, I didn't hear it while driving and didn't read it until 13:30. We still have food. Besides, there is nothing nearby to go to. Unfortunately we were only there for one day.

Beautiful country hotel
Great location, surrounded by nature and 15-20 minutes walk from Cariño, close to all kinds of services (gas station, supermarket, bars and restaurants). The attention of the woman who runs it is very good, she explained to us what to visit in the area. Quiet room; a little small, but more than enough. Very clean and tidy. Very comfortable bed... and great breakfast.

An oasis of tranquility
A well-preserved mill from the 18th century, a beautiful and quiet place. Nice and friendly owner who gave us information on what to visit. Excellent and quality breakfast, sweet and salty. It is possible to dine at the mill, the owner sends a message on the day of arrival with a menu for dinner at a great price. We ate the best cod a la plancha we've ever had! The attention and passion of the owners shine. Excellent!

An ideal base for exploring Ortegal
Beautiful room, although not very large, excellent breakfast without exaggeration, excellent location, in a well-groomed countryside, two kilometers from the city and only seven from the legendary Cabo Ortegal. I think the most beautiful place on the whole peninsula. Good manager who explained to us the whole operation of the mill.
