Great for couples
All excellent. Especially the breakfast, the beds, the cleaning and the staff that was always available to help.
The baby crib had a very soft mattress, it was my only disappointment. I figured if our adult mattresses were that good, then the baby ones would be too. But unfortunately, it was one of those cheap mattresses that come with folding cribs. So baby slept with me every night... at least he enjoyed it :)

The breakfast, the pool, and the cleanliness. The one that has lockers and a shower for after check out and that they give you a towel. You have the beach, supermarkets and many restaurants near the hotel.
When taking a shower I got burned because the water in the shower changes from normal to very hot water without coming to that. It happened to me and my friends too. They should communicate this to the clients because I normally shower with hot water and when the change started, it burned me. It is also very difficult to find parking.

Roof top pool!!
We only stayed one night so we didn't take full advantage of the property's potential. New environment, clean and with quality furnishings. Spectacular rooftop pool
Steps almost everywhere, it would be useful to have an entrance without stairs given suitcases or strollers (in our case) but there is an electric ramp for people with disabilities so everything is up to standard, obviously you don't use 6 steps. Place quite far from Palma city and quite poor neighborhood.

My bed linen was never changed, only the old paint was put back on it. I always had wet towels

Perfect place
Great hotel, 5-7 minutes walk to the beach. The staff is very friendly, the room was very clean, every day they cleaned and changed towels. At the reception, you can ask to call a taxi and take beach towels, leaving a deposit of 10 € per piece (returned when you return the towel). The breakfasts are excellent, there is always something to eat (different types of meat products, cheeses, pastries, omelettes and pancakes are prepared). On the top floor there is a nice bar with a nice view and a pool.
The shower cabin leaked a little, the water changed its temperature by itself from warm to boiling water.

Breakfast a little lacking in main things such as jam, nutella, lactose-free milk, yogurt, etc. Lack of parking we had to drive around for a long time to find a parking space.

There is everything you need to turn off and relax for days.
What I liked the most was the modern facilities, the rooftop terrace with a pool and wide views in all directions, and the friendliness of the staff.
I noticed that some faucets (difficult to open) and doors (didn't close properly) were in need of repair. But that's all :)

perfect location, 5 minutes walk from the beach and from the center of Al Arenal. Friendly staff, poor English, but hands and feet can be sorted out together. Beautiful sea view from the pool/terrace. Nice sun loungers by the pool and delicious sangria and cocktails.
the shower is very dangerous, jump from warm to very hot water. All the guests suffered from this. The water in the Swan Bath is cloudy and oily, in poor condition (tiles, etc.)

Great hotel, unfortunately a lot of noisy youth groups.
The breakfast was delicious and fresh. The room was a bit small and it was very cramped to walk past the bed to go out to the balcony. The location was great.
Groups of young people on the roof terrace and in the pool were very bad and noisy. Without booking large groups, the hotel is perfect for a holiday.

Not again, or better said: I'm too old for the sh....
The breakfast is very decent, but you don't need to book it separately. No one cares whether you have booked it or even live in the hotel. The rooms and cleanliness in general was spotless!
It must be emphasized that I do not belong to the age group of the hotel. It is aimed more at the young target group who like to book the cheapest flights. They arrive at night and accordingly one has rolled suitcases in the night. But this is not noticeable, as some residents change one or the other room naked at night. Of course, with loud applause and encouragement from colleagues. It's funny to watch, but you're not allowed to participate. The neighbors, some Spaniards, are also quite nice. Entertainment starts around 11pm over 2-3 balconies. In the morning, the same installed skirting boards on the roof terrace. Actually a matter of 5 minutes, but the general Spaniard needs 3 days for it.

Very nice and fun time.
The breakfast was really above expectations, both the location and the rooms! The rooftop bar was also great and had a good crowd. Also well located in relation to the boulevard.
Faster service at the bar upstairs. But it was cool and certainly not disturbing.

Do not forget that you are in a party city, so there will be noise (at night in the room is OK). The hair dryer stopped every time after 5 seconds.

Don't be fooled by the photos
The rooms are all at the same price but are not all of the same quality. The room I booked (with a photo of a magnificent sea view balcony) ended up on the second floor above the restaurant and above all with a magnificent view of the neighbors on the balcony watching my girlfriend going to the shower. 0 soundproofing, you can hear everything your neighbor is doing

Great rooms, breakfast highly recommended. You can even perceive it outdoors on a small courtyard. Everything very clean, reception always occupied. All staff were very helpful and friendly. The roof terrace is an absolute highlight. Prices in the bar absolutely fine. Total value for money!

super staff… all very nice, kind, smiling and helpful… new structure, probably just renovated, with small things that could be improved, however… very nice terrace, even if small, but with a sea view it deserves! possibility to take a shower before leaving despite having checked out of the room!!
the structure is in the middle of buildings that are not exactly beautiful and in ruins ... the shower jet that constantly changes the temperature (hot and cold) I would improve the breakfast buffet!

It was a very nice vacation!

Absolutely great for a short vacation
Have been here for the second time. A bit away from the hustle and bustle and the environment takes some getting used to, but in our eyes very safe. Super nice staff and a great roof terrace.
Safe had to be paid for although the description says it is included. But Booking.com will take care of it.

I think it could improve
The variety in the buffet. The bed was comfortable and there was no outside noise. It has good views.
I did not like that to access the hotel there is no other entrance for people who go with baby seats, I asked the girl at the reception if I could use the elevator for wheelchairs and she said no. That we had to go up and down the chair like another couple in the hotel. There is an entrance that leads to the terrace with only two steps, where breakfast is served. I think that notifying reception could be an easy way to get in and out with baby seats without having to go up and down so many stairs with the chair. And when you make the reservation this problem is not appreciated. And also the two elevators are slow and almost always busy. Many went down the stairs because a lot of time was wasted waiting for the elevator.

The rooms are of a good size, modern furnished and equipped. The breakfast was ok but you had to wait a long time for the empty things to be refilled. The location was very central, about 200m from the port and the beach. There was a bus stop around the corner

Super roof terrace with pool. Great view of the bay. Staff absolutely super friendly. You can tell the staff enjoys working at the hotel. Breakfast was also great and very extensive with a mega selection. The hotel really surprised us in a positive way.

We loved Whala!Fun - we would love to come back next year!
Whala!fun is located near El Arenal, but 2 minutes from the port and the beach. The hotel is at the end of a cul-de-sac so there is hardly any traffic noise and the hotel is generally very quiet. The hotel is very bright, clean and has 2 lifts. The roof terrace has a swimming pool and sun loungers, as well as a bar and seating areas. From there you have a beautiful view of the bay of El Arenal to Palma. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was very rich and the coffee was very good too. The rooms were very modern with a balcony, flat screen TV and air conditioning. The bathroom was very good with a very good shower.
The breakfast room was very cold and drafty and unfortunately the boiled eggs and fried eggs were mostly cold (not kept warm). The rooms were quite small!

We had 2 beds pushed together, not hooked together, they kept coming apart. Breakfast is important, unfortunately, the biscuits are flat, the ham a little taste of the past, it's unfortunate.

The price-quality ratio is top notch!
We really liked the location of the accommodation, 5 minutes to the beach. Breakfast was okay too.
What we didn't like was the bathroom. You had to push the door down 10 times to get in and the smell in the bathroom wasn't pleasant either.

I had a problem with my reinstatement receipt and wanted to know if there were any places to test or if the woman at the desk could see where I might be. She just shrugged.. she wasn't very helpful, that was the only downside.

Price / quality fits!
The price / quality ratio corresponds! Very good hotel for the price in Playa de Palma!
It is located on the eastern edge of the playa. For example, you can walk to the German Corner in 20 minutes. But there are enough bars in the area. Currently, El Arenal is changing towards better tourism, which can also be felt here. Due to the construction, the view from the rooms is mainly on the other facades of the hotel. I found the balcony too spartan. Both seats were very uncomfortable. The bottom line is that the price / quality ratio is absolutely correct. We paid a total of 154 euros for two for three nights. The best price and everything is absolutely fine!

The breakfast is very good and very varied. Especially the opportunity to have breakfast on the outdoor terrace. Impressive pool and views. In our opinion, the pool bar should be left open until 00:00 or 01:00 to be able to have a drink in a great location and with a great view.
Undoubtedly the area or surroundings, we think that they do not accompany the hotel at all..... In our opinion, the hotel is clearly at a disadvantage due to this detail.

This hotel is not recommended.
The breakfast was ok, the location is off the beaten track, on a side street. The rooms were only poorly cleaned, no toilet paper refilled. One day there was no cleaning.
The room safes didn't work. It was always put off as to when they should work again. Ultimately, they were useless the whole time. There was no repair and as we found out the problem had been there for a long time. The "consolation" then probably did not correspond to the facts.

I would not return.
The staff is friendly. The pool and view are nice and everything was clean.
The rooms are so small that you can hardly move in them. You can't even walk past the bed without getting caught by the TV on the wall. There is no real closet to store your clothes. Not even a soap or facial tissues are in the bathroom. And that at a 4 star hotel. After asking the front desk several times to ask for another room. One is only told we are full and the room is ok and to keep. The room that can be seen on Booking is a lot bigger, as is the bathroom. We got a bathroom with not even a shelf. It's a mystery to me how this hotel could get 4 stars. The beds are hard and uncomfortable. The mattresses are divided, which means they constantly push themselves apart.

Short break
The area around the hotel is not the prettiest, but the harbor can be reached in 5 minutes and the beach another 5 minutes. Otherwise the hotel is basic, the rooms are quite small but clean and the breakfast is very good. We can especially highlight a nice girl at the reception, these are the people that every hotel needs. So beautiful and warm! Thanks a lot!!!

Fresh hotel. At the entrance to clean rooms that are well insulated. The furnishings are lovely. Wifi is good. The bed is enough. Super breakfast for 7 euros extra. Helpful, friendly welcome. The beach is within walking distance.
No wipes, soap or shampoo in the bathroom. There is nowhere to put your toiletries. The room is very small, I regularly bumped into the TV when I walked past the bed. The refrigerator didn't work. No wardrobe. The floor was not cleaned daily, but convenient, so close to the beach. A bit dirty area, dark and a lot of ruins around the hotel. The view from the balcony is not particularly rosy: a construction site and an ugly huge apartment. Dirty outside. All in all, definitely not worth 4 stars except for the breakfast.

For short holidays maximum performance
The breakfast was excellent! On the day of departure, we were allowed to have breakfast earlier than the usual opening hours without time pressure ☺️ The rooms are large enough and very clean. The beds are very comfortable and the whole hotel is very nicely furnished. You are greeted by a very pleasant smell and friendly staff in the lobby. Restaurants and shops all in the area! The rooftop pool is a highlight, great 👍 We would love to come back
Unfortunately the hotel is not as close to the beach as expected. But that was okay, as you had more peace at night. Walk down the street and now you are on the beach.

Irritating and not flexible
Unfortunately we were accommodated in another hotel in the group. First they wanted to separate us and only give us 2 rooms in the hotel and 3 rooms in the other hotel. Only after protesting and getting loud did it work out that we got all 5 rooms in the other hotel.

I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel and would happily recommend it.
I had a nice clean and cool single room. The breakfast was very good! It had a fairly large buffet with everything a man/woman could want. The hotel is not exactly on the sea, but the sea is easily accessible on foot.
I was sorry that the hotel does not have its own gym and that every guest in the hotel has to pay for Balibeds for the whole day, even if you want to lie on them at 8pm for 1-2 hours. clock.

Simply beautiful hotel
Its location, The spacious room with balcony, in a quiet corner of El Arenal far from the noisy streets but accessible in 5 minutes on foot and of course its swimming pool and its RoofTop terrace offering an exceptional view of the bay of Palma and its sunset. sun 😍 Also its breakfast and its room with a well-decorated terrace which offers a zen awakening.

Hotel very expensive in relation to quality / price, noisy typical guests disturbing at all times and making noise at night through the corridors. You cannot consent to knocking on the doors of other guests in the middle of the night. 4-star hotel that does not deserve it, small room. The booking photos seem better than it is, the pool on the 10th floor is very small.

Great getaway!
Whala!fun is a very nice new luxury hotel! The room was beautifully decorated as was the rest of the house and the roof terrace! It has a great atmosphere and the staff is very friendly and polite. All our requests were granted. The breakfast was also very good, the choice is not very big, but the food offered is very tasty. This is where I always spent my holidays in Mallorca.
Unfortunately, the doors of the rooms were not closed particularly tightly, so there was some noise in the corridors, which was a bit annoying at times.

Quiet
We liked everything. The hotel is new, with a successful decoration. The breakfast is very complete. The location is very good due to the sea views but parking is very difficult.
Parking for us was the only thing that let us down. We had to drive around to park every time we wanted to do something with the car.

Very good services
The rooftop pool with great views and the proximity to the beach are the best. The staff is very friendly and offered us breakfast before opening because we needed to catch a flight.
It's not like they can do much, but if you're driving, it's quite difficult to park. And it seemed to me that in this area there is very little charm. It looks more like an international party place than an authentic place with local culture, but come on, that's the whole point of this area.

Absolute recommendation
The hotel visually stands out from the surroundings :) everything is new and very harmoniously furnished, a huge bathroom with glass doors, a large balcony, a delicious breakfast buffet, very quiet and tactful staff and ... everywhere smells so delicious!!! ! And it's surprisingly quiet for this place... It's hard to find a parking spot in the area, you might have to walk a bit... The hotel is a highlight!

Great short stay in a beautiful hotel in a deficient area
The hotel is really great and deserves 10 points in terms of amenities, service, food and cleanliness! The rooftop terrace is eye-catching and the icing on the cake is the pool.
The surrounding area is indeed very dilapidated and rundown, but of course the hotel can't do anything about it. In addition, you should know where you are in Mallorca and where guests often visit the hotel. Unfortunately, we were a little unlucky and the neighbors who celebrated loudly in the room and on the balcony until four o'clock.

A stay without passion.
The general decoration is neat, the rooftop is pleasant.
Persistent bad smell in the bathroom, bath towels and sheets not changed regularly, diversified but low quality breakfast for the price, great difficulty in parking near the hotel (although in off season), location of the hotel unattractive, no night quiet.

A relaxed and modern hotel, half an hour from Ballermann with a mega rooftop pool
A great roof pool, in half an hour you are at the Ballermann, but you live relaxed and quiet. The equipment is modern and new. We only stayed one night but we really enjoyed it. The staff is very nice.
There is no soap at the sink.

The beds did not sleep well .. both had problems with our back .. Could not rent bicycles and there was no shuttle service while this is described on the site Elevator was broken almost all week .. long wait at the elevator ..

That the whirlpool was only open during breakfast, that was a shame personally. Also, the rooftop pool bar can stay open longer and the prices there are very expensive and my cocktail was just a little over half full. Large rolls at breakfast would also be nice

Satisfied in everything
A very nice place to relax for a week at the playa! The hotel is newly renovated and everything is furnished in a simple but beautiful style! The breakfast was very good and extensive! There is something for everyone! The hotel has a great roof terrace with a great view and pool. I can recommend the hotel.
On the actually very nice roof terrace with pool there are unfortunately very few sunbeds and sunshades! It didn't bother us in the pre-season, since there wasn't much going on. However, it could get a little cramped here in the high season.

Totalmente recommended
Absolutely everything, very attentive and pleasant staff at all times worrying about the well-being of the guests and taking care of even the smallest detail, spectacular facilities to enjoy an unforgettable experience in one of the most beautiful islands. Special mention to the guys at the reception and the guys at the Sky Bar, who made us feel at home and made us feel part of the great family of the Whala Fun hotel, we will definitely be back.

I would go back even if I had to pay double.
1. The daily cleaning of the room, I had not been in a hotel so careful with cleanliness in years. A 10 to the cleaning team. 2. Varied breakfast. 3.Kitchen staff, him and the cook of the restaurant, the waitress incredibly friendly and very attentive to guests. She wouldn't let her go if it was my hotel. 4.The 3 or 4 receptionists. Correct, kind, attentive and above all it was seen that they worked at ease. 5. Despite being in Arenal (our Benidorm) I did not hear noise in 5 nights.

Breakfast was ok, but the room always stunk, the same smell in the bathroom. The neighborhood was very noisy and the sound of the birds in the background, the loud beeping was unbearable, but the hotel can't help it, and yet that's a reason not to book the hotel again, even though the rest was really fine. The elevators could also be faster. Staff over friendly and very competent.

The breakfast was very plentiful and freshly prepared (egg dishes, pancakes, fresh orange juice). All around friendly, courteous staff. The air conditioning in the room was very good. The roof terrace with pool, bar and brilliant view was sensational.
The room was relatively small, but big enough for the little time you spend here.

The best hotel in arenal
Everything is so perfect!!!! The hotel is incredibly good. The location is perfect just a few meters from the beach. Food perfect and pools amazing. I'm thrilled and will book again right away. There is nothing that was missing, everything was thought of and extra wishes were fulfilled. The room even had a fridge to use
