Location, with nearby hiking trails and the tranquility of Benirrama. House distribution with several seating areas and outdoor patios. In addition, the house is very well equipped.
When we arrived, the house smelled stuffy and musty, there were a lot of mosquitoes, without any insecticides. A strong musty smell wafted from the kitchen cabinets, soaking all the dishes.
Calm and absolute silence at night. The city is really calm. I guess there were more people in August than usual, but around 11pm all the noise that could be there stops and you sleep very well with the windows open. There is a lively bar nearby, but voices are quite muffled, possibly due to the uneven fabric of the street, and also respecting night hours. Mosquito net. The house has mosquito nets on all windows or entrance doors to the courtyard. Large patio. There are 2 patios, one of which is planted with plants and it is very beautiful. Amplitude. The house has multiple spaces with lots of pillows, chairs, etc. All bedrooms are spacious. The kitchen is open and spacious. The bathroom is huge. TV. What's not in it makes you enjoy the place and home more. The handling of the owner was great from the first moment. Walking. The ability to walk on mountains or roads without getting into a car.
Tiger mosquitoes. When we arrived, they were all over the ground floor, despite the presence of mosquito nets (we assume they were inserted through some carelessness) and the patio with plants was full of them. I guess it was because of the puddles in the pots and because of the drainage, which also had water. But this is not the fault of the house itself.
The house is well decorated and has everything you need.
For hot days, the rooms have a sauna, where ceiling fans could be installed.
It has three small terraces, it is very clean, good value for money...I would return.
We were three couples and there is only one bathroom, a little uncomfortable. Now the very large bathroom. It doesn't have coverage or TV, but it's fine to disconnect.
Since the house is so far away from everything and there is no TV, it is perfect for turning off the stress of the week.
First of all, parking. It is very difficult to park in such a small town, especially on weekends. You can walk a lot to find a place to park your car. Secondly, we had to go on Sunday. The booking does not include a check-out time, so we decided to drive around the area in the morning, eat at the house and leave. At about one in the afternoon, when we had already returned, the owner called us loudly and very unpleasantly, saying that we had to leave at 10, that she was at home and that we should immediately come to pick up and leave. I made it clear to her that I hadn’t set a time to leave the house anywhere, but she insisted that we leave again and again. Result: arrived, quickly packed up and left without eating. I think good manners do not hurt when dealing with clients. Thirdly, the owner entered the house, knowing that we are on the street with all our belongings. We left the dog inside while we were outside, luckily it was trained by a professional so it is very tame and this is done with everyone, but otherwise it might run away or even bite it.
Nice location and good cleanliness. The contact with the presenter, although always through calls and messages, was good and smooth. The wood stove was TOP.
There was no TV (blackout helped ... but weekend with children and rainy, you need a little TV to have fun for a while). Heating in bedrooms / bathrooms was insufficient; a wood-burning stove in the living room provided heating for the first floor.
Great stay, everything is perfect and unmatched treatment from the owner Jean. I will definitely repeat my stay when I return. It was an amazing experience.
The perfect place to disconnect. With everything you need to spend a few days with your family, kitchen utensils, toaster, microwave, washing machine ... Great setting for excursions.
