This hotel is a 6 minute walk from the beach. The Sweet Orange Hotel, built in the early 1900s, is a restored Victorian house 450 meters from the Atlantic Ocean in the suburbs of Sea Point. It offers a garden with a small pool, indoor and outdoor seating areas and free parking.
The individually designed, spacious rooms feature carefully restored ceilings, doors and wooden floors. Each room has a flat-screen TV, a safe and a bathroom with a hairdryer.
In summer, a rich continental breakfast is served on the stone terrace by the pool. In winter, it is served on the large kitchen table by the fireplace. Packed lunches are available for trips and can be booked by staff on behalf of guests.

A beautiful and affordable stay in Seapoint, Cape Town.
We (2 women traveling alone) got an upgrade i.e. accommodation in another building, where we were almost alone in the house. Since our rooms were on the top floor, we felt comfortable and safe despite the well-known situation in South Africa.
There was no supervision during the day, only in the morning during breakfast on the ground floor of the house.

Nice guesthouse BUT unsafe safe!!!
Clean housing. Good location. Good value for money.
We had money stolen from a safe (which was locked) in our hotel room. We reported this to the hotel management and informed the police. The hotel management wanted to look into the matter and apologized for the inconvenience.

Overall, the stay was satisfactory.
There were no parking spaces, one had to park on a public street, usually far from housing, and one had to carry luggage long distances when loading and unloading.

Nice place to stay in Sea Point
Very good accommodation in Sea Point, great location, very friendly staff, nice and spacious rooms, custom furniture.

We received an upgrade to Selborn Guest House. Guest house with sea view. The guest house has only 3 rooms, 2 of them on the top floor, 1 x cellar.
Unfortunately 2 nightly noises from a pump or a broken pipe but the staff took care of it quickly.
