Great hotel for a leisurely getaway

But as they say, there can be no ideal. The windows overlook the common terrace. Don't forget to close the curtains if you're walking naked around the room (although maybe this one is exactly what you came here for :) and the second heating was not turned on in October, although it was up to 8 degrees at night. We were heated by a split system.

There are also no rubber mats near the pool, it is very slippery and scary to walk even by yourself. Steep stairs to the rooms. We lived on the 4th floor, so it was not very convenient to constantly move along such stairs. An elevator would be perfect! Also, the buffet is very simple with the cheapest products. The beer was ok and the wine was cheap.

Cleaning is not every day, the junior suite in the photo is larger than in life, there is no parking from the hotel. And as a bonus, the windows of our room overlooked, so to speak, a technical room where things were dried: at 8 on Sunday, on vacation, EVERYONE does not want to wake up from the fact that the staff is discussing the purchase of new rags right out the window. After all, we came to rest, take into account this moment somehow, you know that the room is occupied! And the windows of other rooms overlook the pool and a through balcony, it can be noisy from people.

The first days for breakfast were served only very tasty porridge (semolina, rice, millet, oatmeal) plus curd or casserole, instant coffee (the owner could go broke for a coffee machine), titanium tea and choco pye. For lunch ; soup, main course and vegetable salad. For dinner; hot, salad and fruit. At lunch and dinner, wine (4 types) and beer without restrictions, although in the early days the selection of wines was limited. After a series of ailments in the hotel guests and in ours, too, in the form of diarrhea and nausea, and the sanitary-epidemiological station's check of the household block, the food in the hotel probably improved due to a bonus. The breakfast buffet appeared; eggs, scrambled eggs, casseroles, sausages, cheese cuts, delicious buns were always available, only vegetables were missing. And another "pleasant" surprise of our stay was the lack of water in the city, the owner of course hurried in advance and ordered a huge water tank in which water was brought in by cisterns But such a force majeure could have been calculated in advance and our clients should not experience any inconvenience for their (considerable) money.

As it turned out in Gelendzhik, there are problems with a constant supply of water, but this is already a question for the city's provision, and not for the hotel. Vacation-long deceit and disappointment...

My husband and two children booked a stay at this hotel in the “Junior Suite Family” room with a balcony and a double bed, all-inclusive meals, even on the bracelet that they give upon check-in, the inscription “All Inclusive” proudly flaunted. But upon arrival in Azaria, we got a tiny room with single beds pushed together and mattresses moving apart, and no balcony. What was presented as a balcony in the photo turned out to be a common open corridor. Here I note that on Booking the hotel had a note that the room was larger than the average for Gelendzhik. In addition, the chair-bed was broken in the room, on which the child's bed was supposed to sleep, the socket was dismantled, and the air conditioner hung directly opposite the child's bed. When the husband went to find out what to do with the bed, it turned out that I knew everything about the broken bed - here the son of the hotel owner came to the rescue, who came with pliers and bent something in the chair. But this measure was enough for 2 days, at night the chair fell apart with a roar under a three-year-old girl, and for the rest of the vacation we just propped up the chair with a pillow so that it would not move around. So, upon check-in, it turned out that the hotel DOES NOT have a buffet, which was promised when communicating with representatives of Azaria at booking. In return, we were offered breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner, without the possibility of choosing from the menu, what they bring, then eat. From drinks strictly at lunchtime and during dinner, you can pour red and white wines, as well as light beer. The quality of alcohol leaves much to be desired, but this is not the worst thing, because an intestinal infection “walks” in the hotel! ALL GUESTS OF THE HOTEL (I'm not exaggerating!) for 2-3 days begin to suffer from symptoms of an intestinal infection, even those who have not been to the sea. In this fact, it is terrible that most of the hotel guests are families with young children.

The only thing that made the trip very dark is that the hotel has no parking. We thought, so what, we will put the car where there will be a place. But we ran into some abnormal, who at 10 pm began to drive us from the place where we were parked according to traffic rules, because it is near his house and, in general, this street is his. We were a family, a disabled husband, two small children. I freaked out and said that I would call the police, and he threatened to destroy our car. We called the police, but they said they couldn't do anything until they got sick. Our local friends said that this is a "cubanoid" and there is such a problem in Gelendzhik. We moved the car. We will gladly return to the hotel, but without a car.

From the territory: a swimming pool (which does not work due to a pandemic and the price of living has not been reduced from this🙁), little greenery (the design is boring). From the room: small (for 3 people), although as we were told this is a junior suite, there are no shelves for clothes in the closet, only hangers, the electricity is turned off when you leave (the phone can no longer be charged), the air conditioner is located directly opposite the extra bed (chairs for the child) 🙁. The room was cleaned only after a reminder, toilet paper had to be constantly asked for, since one roll was placed in the room for 3-4 people (and even then not every day😊). Meals below 3 (there is no buffet, there is no custom menu, only porridge for breakfast from the children's menu, sausages look terrible, yogurt and curd cheese with the date of the last expiration date 🙁, there were apples and bananas from fruits).

The hotel reviews / descriptions did not seem to mention the lack of a breakfast buffet. He was also absent for dinner, but for some reason this was not so surprising. Probably the same as for lunch. The split stank when heated, they sent a technician, with him he generally began to throw sparks in all directions, at the reception they said that they would call specialists tomorrow, be patient, at night the temperature dropped to 17 degrees in the room, until he asked for another room and said that the neighboring one is free, they didn’t relocate, but I was with 2 small children. 4. All-inclusive meals consist of breakfast, lunch and dinner, and eat what they give, the children did not eat half of this, although they are not picky about food. Dinner is usually very small, but lunch is big, after dinner in a couple of hours you want to eat again, the photo showed one of the dinners more or less. 5. The declared alcohol on the all-inclusive system was absent. Wine and beer are declared, I drank wine only on the first day when I arrived in the evening a couple of glasses, on the second day they said it was over, we’ll bring it, well, we didn’t see wine for the next 3 days, the beer ended on the 3rd day in the morning, even though I don’t drink beer but my wife rejoiced that now I am not the only one rejoicing in non-existent wine.
