Enough to stay a week.
The location and the tranquility, as well as the distribution of the bathroom and the shower, for being spacious and separated.
The pillows were not comfortable and the mattress was not a single large one, but two small ones that were joined together, which caused some discomfort. The kitchen is extremely small and the smoke extraction system should be improved so that no odors are released into the rest of the room.

A very pleasant stay!
The welcome, friendly and available, some advice for visiting Porto, a glass of wine available in the room. You feel invited, it's a real "guest room", super surprising and personal decoration, very clean room. Great restaurants in the street, which allows you to avoid the center in the evening (much more expensive and tourist scams). What a pleasure !

Nice and almost perfect
The apartment is very nice, a mixture of old and modern, with a small kitchen with all the essentials. Very well the detail of a bottle of Port wine in the apartment and a beer in the Brewerie of the same building. The location is perfect in an area full of restaurants and bars.
The last night there was a lot of noise on the terrace of the brewery below, they didn't finish until 12, impossible to sleep. We communicated it to Alexandre but he did not receive the message until the next day.

- location of the accommodation, near the city center - quiet although in a busy street -nice view - authorization to occupy the accommodation before the check-in time
- pillows to be replaced - moldy shower seals - not enough coffee pods - kitchen smells in the bathroom

Super equipped and great location
Very nice, modern furnished room, high ceilings and good amenities. There is a mini kitchen, former and separate shower. The owner was very nice and gave advice. it was nice

perfect place for a few busy days in Porto
Great location in the coolest area of Porto, full apartment with small kitchen. Free luggage compartments, very pleasant contact. There was even port wine on the table. nice tasteful decor and air conditioning.
It is extremely difficult to get there, we arrived in a rented car and with luggage, but the police regularly redirect traffic so that you do not get on the street.

Parking situation, unfortunately we were at the check-in not on a 24-hour parking ticket for 15€/day indicated and had to pay 34 euros per day 😖

Great location but too much clutter at night
Great location. The girls are available for check-in, very nice. Good idea to give 2 beers, very good! The vegetable restaurant downstairs is great!
Room 3: Bed too hard Too much commotion at night on the street ahead, no soundproofing on windows and shutters.

Nice place to stay while traveling to Porto.
The location was great!
The bathroom is very close to the bathroom and noisy, so privacy is not guaranteed while using the toilet. The noise from the hallway was also very audible.

Alexander was very helpful, he contacted us on whatsapp and gave us directions to check before he arrived and gave us information about parking, tourism, restaurants, museums etc. Very well located, close to everything but far from the most crowded tourist areas.

Beautiful apartment to discover Porto on foot
Very central location, it allows you to visit all of Porto on foot and very close to the metro. Well maintained and well maintained structure. Very helpful staff who even approached us with check in after hours. We were very pleased.
The design has a narrow wooden staircase which we really liked and makes the apartment cozier but increases the noise you can hear and there is no lift so it is better to have light suitcases. And you can also hear the noise of the street and especially the morning gulls, which are more punctual than a rooster!

Very warm welcome, spacious apartment and perfect location to visit Porto.
A very warm welcome, full of personalized tips and trivia for a successful trip! The apartment is spacious and has character. The location is perfect and convenient, especially from the airport Finally, very quiet even being in the middle of the restaurants Bedding is ok but that's ok Well equipped, has everything you need to have breakfast, snacks.
The air conditioner is not very efficient. There was a smell of old cigarettes on the walls, which I masked with an internal fragrance. The joints of the shower tray are very blackened. The refrigerator is very small and quite old. Cools down very slowly.

Good location but expensive for what it is
It is in the very center, on a street with restaurants and bars, but they close at 2 o'clock, so there is not much noise. You can leave the suitcase for as long as you need without any problem.

Wonderful stay in Porto in an atypical hotel
The location of the hotel was perfect, close to amenities, value for money hotel.
The access to the top floor bedroom is very narrow but otherwise nothing to say.

Porto at Casa Picaria, always worth a visit!
Great location, very central, beautiful historic house, individually designed/furnished, quiet, air conditioning very well functioning and quiet, large bathroom with a very pleasant shower, good and quick information about the host via whatsapp contact, luggage storage, uncomplicated check in.. .We like to come back.
The window with a view was unfortunately tiptoe only, a table with a second chair, and plates and cutlery for 2 people were missing. The breakfast was very nicely packaged in a box with a napkin and tasted good, but that made it hard to eat. Unfortunately, the leftovers were not collected before departure.

Good value for money
The price of accommodation is good. The room was not much bigger than a bed. The shower was ok. Therefore, we thought that the price / quality ratio was good.
The windows of the room were upstairs. There you only had a view of the clouds when you were sitting or lying down.

The best apartment!
Check-in went without problems. The owner greeted us very friendly, used a city map to explain the area, what to see, where to eat, etc. He also said that we can contact him anytime if we have any questions. The host even gave us some port wine to try and we were given two beer coupons at the bar just below the hotel. We had room #5 on the top floor. Since we were traveling with hand luggage, there were no problems with the stairs. The room was very clean and there was plenty of space. Everything was great and worth the stop!

Highly recommended, great location
The location is excellent. The treatment of the staff was great: the owner, the breakfast staff and the nearby brewery (they offer welcome beer). The room is comfortable and well equipped (for our needs). I would definitely stay here again!
Nothing special, just a few small details: The shower had a slow drain, so it started to fill up easily. It is solved by slightly adjusting the water pressure. The floor was uneven and it was a bit noisy when walking. Sometimes there were unpleasant smells (perhaps from the street).

Good location and comfort in Porto.
The location was perfect. Conveniently located between many streets with bars and restaurants, and a few steps from the most central areas of Porto: Aliados Avenue, Cathedral, Lello bookstore... It was only a little far from Ribera, but no more than 15 minutes on foot.
The heating didn't work very well as it was "masked" by the furniture. So, there comes a moment when this piece of furniture heats up, and then the air conditioner turns off. Therefore, the room does not warm up as it should.

Next time I visit Porto I will definitely stay here.
I think the breakfast was great, I also want to thank the service and the attitude of the girl who accompanied us. I don't know her name, I only know that she is Argentinian. It is worth taking care of this person, today it is difficult to find people of such a cut, always friendly and always with a smile. I liked everything, the location, the cleanliness, and the person serving the breakfast puts an extra point. Thanks for all.
I understand that this is an old building, but the floor of the room is pathetic, I think it needs a thorough restoration.

I didn't have breakfast. I especially liked the brilliant recovery of the building and the creation of those who equipped the apartment (1st floor - 2)
From the noise that occurred until about 3 am on the back of the building. It could be uncomfortable in other circumstances of intellectual work, also because I am a writer and I travel a lot to write in peace. It was not the case this time.

Always Glade
We had room number 5 right under the roof. It was very convenient. However, this room is not recommended for those who don't like stairs. We took it sportily and were blown away by the great bed, the big shower in the bathroom and above all the cleanliness. Everything was really top notch. The welcome was very warm and the hostess gave us great tips for our stay in Porto. Breakfast was served at the nearby Biscoito Café. There were rolls, scrambled eggs, fresh fruit, yogurt, muesli, cakes and drinks of your choice. Breakfast was lovingly prepared and served. Thank you very much for this.

- Absolutely nothing. Conclusion: We stayed here for 2 nights in a double room with bathroom (room 5 in the attic). Registration went smoothly. Even the fact that we arrived a little late did not cause any problems. A member of staff welcomed us warmly and gave us an overview of Porto sights tailored to our needs and recommended a restaurant for breakfast. All the tips and especially the breakfast restaurant were worth their weight in gold! The room was immaculate too! Comfortable bed, soft blankets and a variety of pillows, modern and spacious bathroom. What else do you need? We found a selection of teas and coffees available and a small carafe of port to try was very accommodating. Despite the numerous bars and restaurants in the immediate area, our room was absolutely quiet. The air conditioner worked perfectly, so nothing disturbed a good night. In addition, the Old Town is less than 10 minutes' walk from the hotel. The nearest metro station can also be easily reached in less than 10 minutes. All in all, this accommodation was an absolute top prize and we would book again anytime if we went to Porto again! Absolute recommendation! Thank you for a wonderful holiday with you 😊

Cozy room close to Trinidad train station and all the sights of the city! Spacious bathroom and good cleaning. Very polite staff. If you don't like stairs it's a bit inconvenient because there is no lift!

Comfortable bed, large room, friendliness of the person who visited us, overall a place to recommend. There are plenty of bars and restaurants around to eat and drink.
The fridge didn't work and the water glass in the coffee pot was broken which would come out if carried a lot. I understand that they will fix it, since we understood it.

Great stay in a beautiful city
The room was clean, spacious and equipped with every comfort. Excellent tea, coffee and even port wine in the room. Susana is a very nice host and gives all the information to get around the city. The only noise that could be heard at night was the seagulls, but this is a problem for the whole city. Featured.
