The carriage is spacious and conveniently equipped.
Although the bed is comfortable, the pillows and bedding size are not adequate. It is suitable for 1 person, but not enough for 2 people. Fortunately, there were 2 blankets, but it was not enough, we were cold. In addition, the carriage has no protection against the outside temperature. When we arrived in the afternoon, it was sunny and like a furnace (but at least we could ventilate), in the morning, it was colder inside than outside. The WC is a little far. Although it has several amenities to make a meal, there was no water, making it very difficult to cook or wash dishes without water. The host started mowing the lawn around 9:30 am... Fortunately, we were already packing to leave, but it was unpleasant.
The space and the caravans themselves, very well equipped and arranged! A very quiet place with space to enjoy!
The only issue is the cold, they are not very well insulated, when the heating is turned off it gets cold quickly. Another thing is that I couldn't catch the wi-fi but I'm not sure if it wasn't my cell phone…
the nature that surrounded us and the privacy
the cold to take a shower , cold bathrooms x)
We just liked the structure of the little house, which is what led us to book at this location in the first place. it was on the way on our travel route and we thought we were going to find a cozy place ..
GIANT SPIDERS. MOLD AND A LOT OF DIRT. In addition to the cold and humid winter climate conditions that lead to the place being empty, we were just the only guests in the place (which nobody is to blame) But I believe that we deserved more care in our reception and preparation of the space where we slept... Getting there was super difficult, everything was dark and there were few directions and on top of that we had no GPS. Upon arrival there was no one to receive us in the place which is very dark and silent, after looking and calling the host there we got our key to the hut...after that we had to walk with our things over the tall humid grass that our feet and clothes were soaked on the way to the hut. When we got there cold and wet, wanting a shower, we realized that the bathroom was at the top of the entrance (about 300m above the hut) and that we didn't have access to water in our hut. The heating we were left with was used sheets (full of mold stains and fluids from former guests) and a heater with a gas cylinder that lit badly and scared us (we were afraid it would explode or catch fire). All the dishes in the place were dusty. While we were trying to dry ourselves, we started to see a lot of huge spiders (we removed a total of 6 spiders between 6-10cm in size) I couldn't sleep the whole night in a state of alert, afraid of the spiders and disgusted by the space and the sheets where I was supposed to sleep. We just didn't leave in the middle of the night because we had nowhere to go and it was very cold outside in the car. It was horrible. Never to repeat...
A very interesting and different experience, the spaces are very well used I felt very cozy, I loved it
The only thing a little more annoying is having to walk a little way to the bathrooms, however the space is really cool Unfortunately due to the weather we didn't get the open bar, it would have completed our experience by the pool a lot
Place itself is pleasant and calm. Different accommodation and everything was impeccable in terms of cleanliness, available toiletries and good general condition of the property. Hosts make us completely at ease.
Road in bad condition which makes us think twice before thinking about leaving. I went in September and the accommodation is not well insulated. It was very cold at night and there was no heating. Wi-Fi needs more signal as it is constantly "dropping"
From the experience, very quiet, from the friendliness.
The accesses from the road and the WC are very far.
The characteristic of the accommodation itself… exotic and pleasant.
Nothing special.
The Bungalows, being a copy of a carriage, are very original. Inside with all the comforts and the small kitchen allowed to make meals with ease. The tidy exterior, with many fruit trees, made it possible for the little ones to discover different varieties.
Nothing special.
Nothing positive! I made the reservation a month before and I didn't calculate that this storm was coming. When I arrived at the place, I noticed that to go to "the carriages", we have to go through the middle of the bush.... Literally through the middle of the bush, where everything was muddy and where a light car, besides not passing, would brush low! Owners still think the terrain is perfect for a light car to go there. And at night, only with the car light on. With all this helping, the owners did not see fit to return the value of the stay! Stay on their conscience, maybe this value will help to arrange access 🤣
Tranquility, nature, swimming pool (small but sufficient) with a bar and a very good price. Very comfortable and original wagons, with high-quality mattresses, we slept wonderfully. We even saw fireflies at night!
We had a very hot day, we don't have enough shade in the area of the van. During the day, the car was a bathhouse, although it cooled down at night. The pool area is much cooler because there are trees. Access is difficult, especially the exit, because it goes uphill and the car skids.
We really liked the place, the caravan had everything we needed! We really liked the pool! It has shade! It's quiet, we hear the fireflies at night! And the birds in the morning! :D we love the experience
Access is a bit difficult, the road has many holes... Municipal issues!
The service is very good, very nice couple. Very cute caravan, reminiscent of wagons from old trains. Very welcoming pool area.
Access from the main road to the site is a little degraded.
This campsite is the best in the world. If you love nature and tranquility, you will be happy. The equipment is thought out to the smallest detail, clean, the staff is very friendly. I recommend to all!
we didn't make breakfast
lack of bathroom in the rooms or next to them.
The concept is cool.
The rooms do not have air conditioning, you can only enter the wooden cabins after 10 pm, the toilet is far away, the idea is cool but it is not comfortable in hot weather.
I liked the contact with nature and the calm of the place, I was surprised by the fact that there were no honeys. The swimming pool was pleasant.
Booking photos make the accommodation look bigger. Little consistency with bed linen and towels, it was a huge mix. Bathrooms in need of refreshing and a little far from the rooms. Little light on the way to the WC.
The location is good for those who want to visit Dornes, Ferreira do zezere, Sertã, Fragas de São Simão, etc... It was an experience for my daughter to sleep in a different accommodation.
The accommodation (wooden wagons) has no thermal protection :( As soon as we open the front door, we feel the warm breath of the sauna-style interior. We had to let it air out with the only window that opens, but then we had the company of insects. During the night, the temperature range took us to the other extreme where we had to cover ourselves with duvets (we didn't even have sheets to cover us and the excuse is that they are Germans and don't know that the Portuguese usually make the bed with a set of sheets, other than duvets and/or blankets)
Of all
The fact that there is no toilet closer to the caravans
We liked everything, especially the peace and the contact with nature.
Contact with nature, super calm and great for resting
The room lacked cleanliness, lots of cobwebs, and pots with a lot of grease without any hygiene. There was no heating, which was also not in the room as it was supposed to be. Unhygienic bathrooms, in need of a lot of work, with lots of cobwebs and very unstable water. Super bad access to get to the campsite. Not even the gps detects the actual entry of that.
The car in which we stopped. This reminded me of many who have used zingaros in their displacement devices in the past. From what I've read about it. It was a comfortable place to cook, sleep, sit and read. And he also had an open table with chairs to enjoy nature.
I didn't like the access to the campsite. It's all dirt with stones and the road has a lot of holes. I also did not like that there was no toilet in the car. They were collective, but they were at the top of the campsite. The campsite had an upper section that could be reached by car and then had to go down a dirt slope to reach a green area where one could park next to the car. The shower was very regular in hygiene and the water was under high pressure. The wagon accumulates a lot of heat, it is all made of wood. And if the sun beats a lot, it is very hot. And I didn't have a fan or anything like that. Only an opening door and a small window. We left it open one of the days and we had 4 or 5 big spiders on our way back at night. Bedding was another common item. It was a 1.35" wide bed with a double bed, but for a 90 cm wide bed. Only the duvet cover was 1.35 cm. And something similar happened with the towels: they were for the washbasin, very small. The nearest supermarket is 5 km away. Outside, our van had a table with green plastic chairs, very practical but rather worn. And the place for washing dishes is also outside. A very cool but impractical barrel that can be washed. You have practically no space. I think with more thorough maintenance this will improve a lot because we liked the idea of staying in the van.
A bit like a bivouac, so close to nature, birds in the morning, views of vineyards and beautiful trees. Sleeping experience in a wooden motorhome (smallest of all)
Linens
Very comfortable huts with everything needed to serve us, very good bed.
Bathrooms very dilapidated in need of a good renovation and far from the huts.
The accommodation was quite cozy, out of the ordinary, I liked the fact that they had refurbished a wagon and turned it into accommodation.
What I least liked were the bathrooms, I think they could have been more careful, as it is an area that should be properly sanitized, which did not happen. We were in the middle of nature, it's true, but there were a lot of cobwebs and spiders in the bathrooms, it's like in the showers. The lack of hygiene was visible.
From the wagon and surroundings
location and toilet
from the carriage room Quiet
Access Remote bathroom wi-fi
In terms of amenities, the owners are very friendly and helpful and I liked that it was a secluded and very quiet place.
Friendliness, cleanliness and indoor and outdoor space
Parking access was needed better.
The silence that everything around provides. The bungalow has everything you need, as shown in the photos. For those who like the concept, a place to visit.
Site access is poor. Bathrooms are far from the bungalow. Internet does not reach the bungalow. The pool is very small.
A beautiful place, well decorated, very quiet, great for getting away from the chaos of the city.
Super comfortable train, very beautiful place and 5 star friendliness
distant toilet
The bungalow is a fantastic experience. Solitude in the park and lightness Quiet .... quiet it was really interesting Congratulations on the project 👏 I liked everything, even the isolation of the place
the place is very good to relax with family, different experiences. With a pool at the end of the day after exploring the area, it tastes great. Nature is beautiful. I advise you to spend a few stress-free days here with your family.
The wifi is not that good, the bathroom is a bit far away and the water temperature is not easy to control. The rest is calm. the pool has a bar, but during the time we were there it was always closed so we couldn't enjoy it.
Of everything! The ambiance of space, friendliness, attention and availability of everyone. Accept animals. My 12-year-old nephew loved it, and so did I. Repeat the experience, no doubt! Thanks Rico and Daniela!
The bungalow does not have Wi-Fi access, however this was not a problem, it was by the pool and those looking for outdoor recreation want to get out of the madness too !!!
tranquility
cleaning
Well-equipped wagons, nature, friendly hosts.
Difficult access. Unpaved track with potholes and slopes.
An ideal place to connect with nature! The pool is great ... Definitely repeat! :)
Drive onto a dirt road that is not suitable for motorcycles. Very small pool and noisy cabin without water
Another experience, a station wagon with good dimensions. The kindness of the owners. To be able to hide from nature, from silence.
Suggestion to go with kids, it was nice to have a playground.
The house has everything, even the unthinkable, a broom, rags, a bottle of water, a mosquito net on the windows, automatic lights, cutlery, chairs, towels ... showers with hot water. Pets are not extra paid.
Anyone looking to have a barbecue should pay attention to the summer months when barbecues are prohibited.
Location, accommodation, tranquility, friendliness of the owners
I loved the quiet day and night, the pool and the burger I ate at the bar. We have privacy in every home. Aside from the negative aspects, it was worth it, I recommend it.
Entrance and exit accesses. Showering is a bit tricky to soften the water.
From the owners of the house, from the very place in nature and from the bungalow in which I stayed.
The bungalow has no internet, TV or microwave. To get there, you need to lay a dirt road.
Of everything else! Excellent conditions, the pool is small but it is enough to cool off, the bathrooms are a bit primitive but clean, everything is very clean.
A little isolated from everything.
Country carriages and pool water temperatures at the end of the day. After about 10 minutes we had dinner at Tasca da Célia in Cernache de Bonjardim, the only place open to eat and it was amazing from food to serving Senhora Célia, impressive, I highly recommend !!!
The pool in the photos looks larger than it actually is, and has a set time of use, the toilets are far from the carriages!
I liked everything, the house was very clean, the bedding was also great, the concept is great, good for those who want to relax in nature, there are Praia das Rocas, Ana de Avis Beach, Fragas de San Simao, shale villages nearby. I liked it very much
Everything else was good
There was no TV, the bathrooms were far away.
The friendliness of the owners. That pets are allowed 🥰
The toilets were far away in case you wake up in the middle of the night.
A mobile home, very welcoming, ideal for those looking for peace and quiet and something special outside of their comfort zone. Complete privacy and peace
Access to the site is through mud, making it a little uncomfortable for those using low vehicles. The bathroom is slightly out of the way of the mobile homes, as is the pool. There is little light in this place at night. The house has everything you need, all you need is a TV, like an entertainment area.
Small night carts are a peculiar concept, but very pleasant. They are handy and contain all the utensils you need in their little space. The pool, although small, and its surroundings are very pleasant on hot days or when you prefer the peace and quiet, of which there are many. Our little dog was well received and loved the outdoor safe place.
Bathrooms in a typical campsite that go against the concept of overnight carts (which we love). Access to the park is via a (nothing shallow) dirt and gravel path. It includes descents (and equivalent ascents), making it even more difficult to understand the untouched floor option.
If you are a nature lover, this is the perfect place to immerse yourself in a green environment full of trees, birds and a pleasant atmosphere. The owners are very friendly and approachable. Here time flows slowly and slow life is practiced.
I recommend bringing bottles of drinking water with you in advance.
The originality of the room is a quiet place
water in the toilet / bathtub There is no heater in the rooms
There was no hot water in the bathrooms
An experience to be repeated whenever possible!
Value for money, very expensive. At least for the price, they should pay more attention to cleaning. The people were nice, but that's about it.
We unexpectedly had to spend the night and found this campsite on Booking.com for a good price. The cars are very cozy inside and spacious enough for 2 people plus a dog and cat. The owner provided us with the space heater we needed and luckily there were extra blankets and fleece mats. In the morning, the hot water was adjusted immediately. The area is great for walking and there is a supermarket within walking distance. There was everything in the shower, even individually wrapped sanitary napkins. Good service.
Weather ;-) The grass was very high and wet, and then going to the toilet was not very comfortable. The first night there was no hot water. I missed the can opener.
With all the experience and peace.
It was very dark at night. There was poor lighting outside.
I found the bungalow idea super original
There was no hot water for bathing, and the mattress was so thin it looked like a platform.
The place is impeccable and ideal for those who like to get away from the bustle of the city. Daniela and Steffen are great hosts and the place we stayed was clean and had everything we needed!
Of the sky, of calm, of friendliness, of space. Everything clean and tidy, well thought out. I recommend it 100%.
I liked everything, however the only bad thing is the distance from the bathroom. The heat that is felt in the middle of the day prevents us from being in the bungolow. They had no sheets. But all these are things that, if we are careful, pay off.
Friendliness and cleanliness are the best keywords for this space. I would say that it would be nice to just improve access, but that's okay. Danke guys!
The opportunity to spend time relaxing in nature, away from the hustle and bustle. Accommodation with enough cooking utensils to prepare your own meals. Relaxation area with plenty of sun loungers and comfortable hammocks. The bar serves delicious burgers.
It is very hot in the mobile home (carriage) during the day, and it is very cold at night. There are several bathrooms and away from the sleeping area (one is in the recreation area and by the pool). But it has everything you need with minor improvements.
Very peaceful and relaxing. Very comfortable and comfortable circus wagons with all the necessary equipment for a good stay. Being able to be accommodated with our dog.
The pool becomes small when there are a lot of people staying.
Friendliness of the lady, the site as a whole.
Access is convenient for those with a tall car.
"Caravan" is very clean and organized, there is everything you need to relax and even have a small lunch. I found this concept exceptional and we will definitely be back.
Least of all I liked the toilet. Two bathrooms for park maintenance, I don't think that's too much, but one of them didn't have hot water. It would have been nice if the pool had a less deep space, it was too deep for small children.
Ideal for those looking to get away from the confusion. Ideal for the perfect family vacation. Everything is fine.
The place is beautiful, calm, peaceful. Super cozy home. Small pool, great place with sun loungers and hammocks to relax, read.
It is inaccessible, the roads are in very poor condition and there are few signs to the farm. Bathrooms could be slightly better given the height of the pandemic, with some extra precautions.
It was a very pleasant experience in a tranquil environment in the middle of nature, with comfort and where you have everything you need.
Everything is very neat, super nice and well maintained. We were sorry we only booked one night. We are going to return one day.
The friendliness of the owners and the ambiance of the space. The stroller is funny and original for sleeping.
Difficult to find.
Of the entire surrounding environment, to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life, it is 5*
Quiet and cozy place. Ideal for nature lovers and those who want to spend a few days away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Well equipped kitchen. Good parking spot
Difficult access and uncomfortable toilet
The caravans are very funny
Ample space for kids to play and explore. The cart-shaped room was very attractive. Inside there are very good conditions for cooking and cleaning.
The kids didn't really like finding spiders in the bathroom, but let's not forget we are in the countryside. Finding this place was a bit tricky as there was little network, but after finding out where the place is, we were able to find a few pointers.
Adorable little house! Everything very clean, comfortable bed, everything to cook! Very friendly owners! Great price!
