good location in the center, early check-in was possible, very good restaurant and supermarket around the corner
Street view room quite noisy
very nice house Very clean. A pleasure
Bathroom is a little small
Accommodation in a character house. Spacious room. The ladies at the friendly reception, a pity that we only see them in a gust of wind.
Excellent location. Nice authentic intimate atmosphere.
Nothing unusual.
There is no reception and keys are placed in a safe at the entrance. The location is great, right on top of the Caminho do Tejo to Fátima. It has a small communal kitchen where you can make light meals, with a stove, oven and microwave.
There is no TV in the bedroom.
Nothing, very bad beds and everything very poorly conditioned.
Everything.
A very nice old vila with flair. Beautiful old crockery and various pieces of furniture make up the charm of the building.
Very noisy. Since I was there in February, it was very cold at night and unfortunately the windows are leaking, so the small electric heater only brought a little warmth. Since apparently all guests heated up in this way, the fuse constantly blew out. The bathroom was super small and you had to go out into the corridor. Kitchen equipment was poor and getting old.
Affordable price, location close to the train, available and attentive staff.
No parking, beds that made a lot of noise because they were older, there was no tv in the room, hygiene products just a small bottle.
The location next to a very good restaurant! The bathroom was very clean, like the rest of the rooms.
The bed, the uncomfortable mattress... It's very noisy... The cleaning ladies arrived around seven, and although they were very restrained, the building is old and poorly soundproofed.
the accommodation was only for sleeping one night can't say much about the accommodation.
I didn't like the mattress!
close to a supermarket
spartan comfort Train noise and bells ringing every hour
Friendly place. The lady who took care of the house, whose name I can't remember now, was very friendly and available. Easy contact via email and phone with the space manager. Good access to Lisbon, Center South and South Bank of the Tagus. As I was at work it was extremely helpful. Kitchen equipped enough. Shared bathroom always very clean. I had no problems with parking close to the establishment. Very central with restaurants, cafes and supermarket where you can walk in a minute. To be repeated without a doubt. I recommend

The fourth. On the night of the stay there was thunder and rain, so it rained inside the room. This situation was not at all pleasant, as the rain was heard falling on the bedroom floor for most of the night and we had to use bath towels to soak up the water.
Right location but village under construction and hard to reach house Breakfast must be booked in advance...not mentioned on booking.com Shower with leak...folklore shower on face! Very very small bathroom In the next room, the light is on all night... Difficult parking
Great place, historic tenement house, kitchen, fridge and everything you need + breakfast products in the morning
A bit small bathroom, the rest is ok.
Located near the center and train station. For 3 euros you can go to Lisbon and back.
Nothing
just a place
booked room with balcony and available room without balcony. The village of azambuja is affected by the plague of honeydews that bite us. the accommodation does not have nets that prevent honeydews from entering. interior doors with holes that allow peeking to/from the hallway
it was not mentioned in the presentation that the bathroom is separate from the room. The light in the corridor did not work before it was indicated. There was no breakfast available although there was a breakfast option in the brochure.
The location is good and the room was clean.
Soundproofing is poor and as it was a hot day the room was quite hot despite the fan provided.
A practical accommodation for an overnight stay.
The property appears to be still under renovation. The value is high for the proposed conditions.
The room was very spacious and well located. The employee was nice
The lack of ventilation in the room was the main problem and it was aggravated by the absence of a fan to cool it down. There was no socket in the bathroom and it was missed. It was a pity that there was no TV in the room. The presence of noisy guests and the lack of soundproofing of the walls did not allow for a good night's sleep.
- on the Caminho route - well-equipped kitchen - good contact with the property manager
- bathroom outside the room which smells bad - rather such conditions for one night and on the road - no air conditioning - church bells every half hour - mosquitos
very noisy
very noisy
It was like a haunted house. Too old and dirty. The bed creaked. The water bottle I put out to drink was not washed properly and the bottle cap was full of black mold. It was a place I didn't want to think about.
Close to Camino and eateries, shop
Outdated very noisy room Shower
Cleanliness and courtesy for the reception.
Closing the apartment door
setting, atmosphere.
shower did not work properly
Location and space of the room
Nothing to say
great property, great room
Easy code registration, beautiful building and original ceilings, walls, etc. inside. Good location on Caminho Portugues.
Very noisy, rickety (since historical) door with viewing slots into the corridor (or vice versa). Bad sockets in the room, not even near the bed. The bathroom (private) is unfortunately across the hall, this was not visible when booking.
Good location, small but adequate bathroom, good water pressure. Good mattress. The owner was available to answer us via telephone, she gave an excellent tip for dinner (Tasca da Ilda) and breakfast (Favorite pastry shop).
The iron bed, needs to be revised, when we sit or lie down, it looks like it is going to break in half, the top and bottom lean simultaneously towards the middle of the bed. The almost empty shower gel and hand soap dispenser. The window in the room could be better, insulating more noise from outside. A hairdryer could have been available.
from place
Access to the building, toilet, bed, and with little privacy for those who rented a room.
I made the reservation for 2 guests and they only left 1 bath towel.

That there is no one in the responsible room, everything is self-management and I don’t like it. I still preferred that you always be received by the owner and informed about everything personally. Now if you run out of data on your mobile phone, you are gone!
flair!
Helpful lady, nice room, nice area.
Nice terrace in front of the room. Nice building!
Staff not present at check-in or during stay. Everything is automatic. Is it a little impersonal?
Good location, cozy place, good service and entrance control system.
nothing
noise all night, it is impossible to sleep, an uninsulated building, a train runs every 5 minutes, cars on the cobblestones all night, people go out and enter all night, riots in the corridor. rooms are laconic, cleaning not done properly we had to shorten our stay by one day, we left at 1 am on Saturday 31st to return to France. our Portuguese friend Lucio Paixao has to stay on duty because he stayed in Portugal for an extra week and the next day he called AL Embaixador to make a reservation. for me this establishment has nothing to do with booking.
I had a room on the terrace (accessible to everyone). The room was large and comfortable, with a balcony and a window. The downside is that, as a non-smoker, you have to keep the door closed unless you want smokers to smoke on the terrace in your room. I was lucky that I was the only guest (due to Covid) and therefore had no problem with other guests who smoked.
Great old house with charm. Kind hostess. Kitchen with everything you need (very convenient for pilgrims !!).
The location was great, right in the center. The house has a story and is very well adapted to AL.
I liked everything, there could have been more pillows on the beds and air conditioning would have been nice too. but the stay was comfortable.
Thank you D Inês everything was perfect and thanks to D Angelina for welcoming us. Thank you.
The location and atmosphere are perfect for relaxing after a long day of pilgrimage.
An iron bed with a "steel" mattress.
Friendly staff, location, high pressure water, good natural light, coffee and tea.
The cleaning could have been more thorough. They may have an extension cord next to the bedside tables so that they can plug in lamps and charge mobile phones at the same time.
I chose this accommodation as I was on a pilgrimage and it was right next to the trail and there was no need to go around. On the positive side, I would like to emphasize the fact that there is a kitchen for preparing food, which is convenient in this situation.
While these are relatively new dwellings, the intention may have been to give them a "rustic" look, but the beds are too "rustic" not to be called old. Extremely cold rooms, no heating or TV, and a very small toilet (for example, a sink smaller than a tap that caused some water to fall to the floor) After a phone request, it was indicated that someone would bring a heater, but could be picked up from the pantry ... If we didn't, we would have to wait until 7:45 pm when the employee arrived. For the cost, better service was expected.
Everything
Compassion and willingness to help in every detail

Good location.
Insufficient for the price, but still in the green zone.
Nice staff, good location.
The equipment is a bit dated, the door to the room could hardly be locked so that the doorknob would not fall off. Noisy, but this is an older building that also has a certain charm. Wearing masks / face masks doesn't seem to have received much attention.
Location and equipment
Situation
Very uncomfortable wash.
Wonderful old house with large rooms. Nothing is missing. The only downside is that the bathroom is two rooms away from the bedroom other than that this property is wonderful.
The bathroom is not in the room.
Central location
Too little storage space, no toilet, no hangers
They didn’t have breakfast, as they either bought something to eat in the nearest supermarket, or had breakfast in one of the cafes next to the hotel. There are several options nearby. And the supermarket is also very close and well served! The hotel has a very bright and tasty kitchen with a fridge for guests, as well as a stove, microwave and even a coffee maker with free coffee. Guests can also benefit from fresh water.
Everything was really beautiful and to be honest the only small, albeit small, would be the shower stall, which is a bit cramped. For a big person, this can be a little uncomfortable. I am small, there were no special problems. The water comes out strong and heats up well, which is very positive!
This is a hostel with a shared kitchen, but they can still give you a code to access your room (excluding bike storage). Bathrooms are small but new The house makes a great hotel (spacious, beds, decoration, etc. Needs to be updated)
Some objects
Everything was fine, room, kitchen with coffee, terrace, on the way to Santiago
The room faced the street, so it was noisy all night.
The staff is very friendly and willing to help. They left us a place to store our bikes. There is good value for money.
It was cold when we arrived, but they gave us a radiator.
Very friendly. Spartan appliances, but a large shared kitchen. Free Nesspresso. Open area on the ground floor, in the very center.
Micro bath. Vanity can hardly be used.
The tranquility of the terraces and the old building of the house.
The kitchen could have been a little better equipped. The bed made a little noise.
The decoration and the friendliness of the owner.
Very damp room, no carpets, no central heating and no hangers or towels. For these conditions, the price was very high.
Localization
Poor insulation. The private bathroom is separate from the bedroom.
Location and individual approach
Bad pillows too small bathroom all very old very narrow doors
Casa da Rainha has fantastic features. It is central, with all kinds of commerce nearby, there is a lot of calm in the area, despite being central. The century-old house is beautiful, has a certain magic (good energy) and is decorated with a lot of love and good taste. João was unsurpassed in providing all the necessary support. I even found my favorite coffee, as a gift. Maybe you consider breakfast a little expensive, I think it's 5€ ....but enough.I'll be back without a doubt... And Lisbon is 1 hour away. there is a train very close.
Access will not be very good for people with disabilities !!!... I think they will think about it and I was surprised by the lack of surveillance cameras, because as I travel alone, I might feel more protected. At least on the front steps.
Mosquitoes wanted to eat us, at least the fan could stir the air - an awfully hot, sleepless night
