I believe that breakfast left a little to be desired, perhaps because I had high expectations for this being a 4-star hotel, I expected more variety on offer.

The room had humidity and they should not ventilate it because it smelled a lot and the smell did not go away even by ventilating it. It is clear that they wanted to cover the humidity with plastic plates, with which they also covered the socket of one of the lamps on the bedside table, which remained as an ornament without being able to work. The shower (in a bathtub) could only be placed high and the side protector did not fit, getting the bathroom wet. It did not correspond to a 4 star hotel

The hotel's Wi-Fi network does not work. The breakfast room tables are too low for someone sitting in a wheelchair. The room for people with reduced mobility is very small and does not allow wheelchairs to circulate. The decoration of the room is quite "poor" in relation to the photographs presented on the hotel's website. The adapted bathroom is quite spacious, but the adaptations, namely the washbasin and the toilet, are not ideal for those using a wheelchair.

Nothing to eat at night if you are with kids and tired from the beach.

We were staying in a room on the top floor (5) where it was very hot despite the fact that the temperature outside was 24ºC. All the time we were in the room we had to put the air conditioning on full to be able to have some thermal comfort with the consequent problem of noise to be able to sleep. The problem is that all that floor does not have very well insulated ceilings and it is very hot even in the corridor. On the other hand, the breakfast was average. The fruit was not fresh, you could tell that it was many days old. The juice very artificial. In general I think that it is not up to the stars it has. We miss an operational bar in the hotel

Only one working elevator, lack of some update. It could be 4 stars, but 20 years ago. These days I wouldn't even say it was 3 stars.

All in all, this is a somewhat surprising hotel, perhaps due to the combination of modern and contemporary style. The lobby is spacious and simple, an adjective that also applies to everything else, including the rooms. Sobriety also manifests itself in a certain scarcity of some resources. But come on, the little time that I spent in the room, I was fine, I think I would like to raise the temperature a little. They didn’t give me (I didn’t know if I didn’t ask) with a glass of port wine and ovos moles.

Almost without a window, 80 cm leaning against the roof of an attached house. No open services, no bar, no nothing. You would ask for more for 4*. I chose this one because it is 4* and the ones in the center are 3*, I took the opportunity to compare and they were much better!

Checking into the parking lot is difficult if you are driving a large car. The location we also thought would be more central and although it is close to the center to be able to walk, I admit I expected it to be more central.

Could have a kettle in the room so we had tea in the evening if we wanted. The glass in the tub was too small so we had to be careful not to get the entire bathroom wet.

I have already said that the hotel is incompletely renovated. Bathrooms were tiled but left a bathtub that I would clean and a marble floor that was poorly polished.

As soon as we got to the room there was an unbearable noise.... It was the air that was on plus an extractor fan in the bathroom, the air didn't work and we had to go downstairs to tell us about the extractor fan, they told us it turned itself off... When We arrived after lunch, it was still working... The next day we had a leak in the room, we notified the reception and we went to dinner... They called us by phone that the problem could not be fixed and that they would change our room... What made us come before, uneasy about having to make the change... When we arrive, they give us another key, we make the change, we take the keys down to the lady at the reception (all this without saying "sorry for the inconvenience") and at the new room assigned one of the beds creaks as soon as you move, come on instead of compensating us for the inconvenience of having to change rooms we have gotten worse! An unpleasant incident that has spoiled our last day in Aveiro...

I remind you that the establishment is supposed to be a 4 star. The breakfast is a bit limited and of passable quality, except for the bread, bacon and sausages! But what is a pity and hardly understandable are undrinkable industrial fruit juices (how not to have real fresh squeezed fruit, especially in southern European countries, mystery?!), a coffee machine and very very low quality milk; the taste of the drinks being therefore close to water.. no products for intolerances (gluten-free for example). The bedding is not at all comfortable although recent; the rooms are a little too furnished (as in many hotels, who knows why ..). Although the towels remain suspended in the bathroom as indicated so that they can be reused... they are systematically changed every day. Hello environment! But the highlight and the reason why I don't recommend this hotel is the soundproofing of the rooms, which is just non-existent: EVERYTHING that happens above, on the sides or on the landing happens... in your room! Absolutely intolerable!!

The internet sometimes crashed.

The rooms need some reform, for example there are almost no sockets to charge mobile phones or PCs or they are not very accessible. The decoration is quite dark, it could do with changing the color of the furniture, walls and curtains. The closet was a bit small. The bathroom is very uncomfortable with the fixed screen and you have to be careful when you get into the bathtub to shower, because the access is very wide and high, I don't know how older people will access it, I understand that with certain difficulties. In the bathroom, the only plug there is to plug in an electric razor, I had a hair straightener and I had to plug it in the room and it wasn't comfortable for me.

The outdoor car park can / should be paved as there are not many places on the street ... Although this is not a hotel problem, I did not like the increase in road works in the city center or the Forum parking fees.

Noise from pipes in the bathroom. not efficient air conditioning it was hot. For breakfast I would have preferred real orange juice instead of orange syrup. Otherwise there is nothing more to say.

The air conditioning made a lot of noise, which made it difficult to sleep. I turned off the air conditioning, but the air was very stuffy and we had to turn it on. We took the night on this, which became exhausting.

Honestly, I think I know what a 4 star hotel is and this is not. For the size of the room, its equipment and its services. I hate crushing a type of business that is going through a bad time, but I chose this hotel because of the 4 stars and I am sure that there are many 3-star hotels in this city that are the same or better and of course with better prices. The room was small and cramped, the safe was locked, kettle? What a laugh! The fridge had a whole night a bottle of water in the morning had not cooled it and with all the lights in the room on I couldn't read because of the semi-darkness in which I was and the bathroom had a lot to improve .

At the destination they should open the windows to air out and lower the chances of contagion of the coronavirus to their level.

The bathtub is quite high, otherwise nothing to point out.
