Relaxing stay on the coast
Nice atmosphere of backpackers. Rental of surfboards. Large kitchen available.
Room not the cleanest (sand, dead mosquitoes against the walls, small spiders in the bathroom, stained sheets). Broken lever siphon which brings back quite strong sewage odors.

the understanding of the staff when I said that it was not possible for me to stay and made me pay only the night spent there instead of the 4 nights reserved - thank you :)
´ music much too loud not super super clean the shared dormitory and bathroom I was unlucky but the people in my dorms were just disrespectful I was able to sleep for 1 hour all night... I think that if you come to a private room it's already better but really go your way if you want to sleep and rest... here it's alcohol and music..

First experience 2018 great! After the experience this time I will not sleep there again
we knew the accommodation from 2018 and it was much better than this time!
I suspect that my headphones were stolen from the room there. Unfortunately, the room was not clean and smelled of moisture.

Good unless you want to rest.
Overall it's a nice hotel although the common areas are not very clean. On the other hand, if you want to sleep peacefully go your way.
The noise at night, especially the very loud music near the rooms. Nice for partying, less for those who want to rest. Garbage cans ripped open by dogs and cats.

Nice staff but not very clean.
The staff were very pleasant and helpful. We had a room in which the door did not close, and we were immediately offered to move to another, more spacious room.
The hygiene could have been better, for example, the fans were very dirty, but they were really necessary because it was very hot in the rooms without air conditioning.

Very good quiet place
Good location WiFi works well Equipped kitchen The bus from León passes right in front of the hotel. calmness
The hotel itself was ok except that when it rains everything gets wet. Good to know: Lots of mosquitoes, gear up There is nothing in the village but a mini tiendha with very little choice.

Good accommodation in a good location
Good hostal with a good location. You are at sea in a few minutes. the staff is very good. Surfboards can be rented and there is a bar.
Kitchen could be cleaner, Wi-Fi is poor.

Best hostel in Nicaragua
All!!!! It's like joining a big family. I skipped days to enjoy it more. The guys and girls there are great and they have a good atmosphere. The hostel is incredible. We will definitely be back again! I fell in love!

Average hostel near the beach
The hostel is very basic but the staff is nice. The breakfast was delicious.
The interior of the hostel looks a little dated and is in dire need of a refurbishment. The kitchen is not particularly inviting and the fridge stank of rot.

Private bathroom for hostel Bar Sea view Summer shower Hearty breakfast The boss and staff are charming and always willing to give good advice, thanks to Mateo we were able to see the birth of baby turtles as well as eggs.
Not much we have everything we need at hand. Boards are paid, even considering their condition, and even if you are a buyer, it's a little silly, but nothing more. Don't forget to shop early because there's not much there, small grocery store if you go there at the wrong time, ATM more than 10 minutes from town

boss Mateo is really very nice place very clean and well maintained 50m from the beach he rents very cheap surfboards for $5 for 2 hours. the kitchen is super good and clean drinking water there is a bar in the hostel great atmosphere in the evening I recommend 100%

Excellent accommodation
Hostel Caracolito is excellent Very quiet, very nice garden. Mateo is amazing. Knows how to calm down guests, gives good information. I really liked the barrel for adding water and a metal straw so that there was no plastic !!! A good place for people who care about the environment. The food is good and inexpensive. Surf lessons available :)))) Little cats in the hostel are so cute !!

Basic place, good location
Good location, private parking. There is a kitchen, they recycle.
I did not like the administrator's treatment, he lacked sympathy. Despite the fact that it was raining heavily and we got wet, he asked us to cancel the reservation through booking, we almost left for this reason. The shower was clogged.

Great stay at the Caracolito Inn!
The atmosphere here is very cool, colorful decor, hammocks and small seating areas. The kitchen is very well equipped and the bedroom is clean and spacious (especially the bathroom). Mateo was very helpful and gave good advice for the rest of our trip, he took the time to explain everything to us. Excellent hostel just 2 minutes walk from beautiful beaches! We could have stayed much longer, do not hesitate to book !!

Tranquil hostel near the beach
- nice staff - clean and spacious room - super equipped kitchen - calm garden / bistro - good coffee
- Shared bathrooms could be cleaned in parts.

Very nice staff. The hostel is ideal for relaxation and parties. The proximity to the beach is ideal.
Unfortunately the kitchen is mostly dirty. The host has to force the guests to wash their clothes. The refrigerator will have to be checked more often in order to get rid of rotten things in time.

Location close to the sea.
VERY high sound level during outdoor movies in the evening until half past midnight. Even after complaining, the sound was barely quieter when it was after 10pm (the man at the front desk seemed surprised that we wanted to sleep) I'm not talking about the state of the bathroom. The toilet bin (which is more common in a 4 person room) was not changed and almost overflowed when we left, thanks for the smells. The communal kitchen is dirty and equipped, the sink was clogged up all day without disturbing anyone. Water is paid.

great atmosphere, nice staff, delicious breakfast (not limited in time, so perfect for late risers), large room with many power outlets, separate shower and bath
The floor was relatively dirty, of course you are near the beach, but it could still be cleaner. Wifi was relatively weak in the room.

I was at the hostel in December 2019. I had a great time, I met some really cool people, including the staff guys. I advise everyone, and solo travelers can find someone to travel with. Clean and very close to the beach, food is good and I loved it. See you soon, Caracolito!

It was amazing that I will return without a doubt.
The breakfast is something very tasty, the location of the Caracolito is very good, it is close to the beach, but what caught my attention in this place is that it has a lot of art such as frescoes, it is also a place where many artists from different disciplines, for example, musical art, street map. Attention is one of the best I have come across on my travels, so much so that I feel like a family. I like the puppy, he is very friendly, short name, very cute. I really like music, there is always good music like jazz, blues, rock, reggae and underground electronics, no doubt this is an incredible place.

The hostel is an excellent base for swimming as well as nature excursions.
Very nice hostel, very close to the sea, with a nice shady garden and lots of well maintained common areas. This is an old colonial house, restored and decorated with frescoes. Large and well equipped shared kitchen. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The staff is polite and knowledgeable. I absolutely recommend it!
