Ideal for a short break
As we had booked Walwatsching on the Waterfront, the location of the accommodation was ideal as it was only a few hundred meters from the venue. There was also a parking space directly in the accommodation.
There was nothing to criticize.

The apartment needs renovation
Without much comparison, I booked an apartment near the harbor with two bedrooms, free Wi-Fi and free parking. The price wasn't too bad and the owner, Andre, was flexible to delay booking for a day when my visa arrived too late to buy the ticket on time. There were plenty of towels and the bedrooms looked neat and spacious.
The atmosphere in the apartment was depressing with a view of the gray wall and fluorescent light, like you were in a Turkish tea house. No coffee table, very mediocre crockery, kitchen and bathroom, where the toilet of an average gas station resembles a 5-star luxury hotel.

Great location, pleasant atmosphere, beautiful beds and a kitchen that has everything you need.
Great restaurants within walking distance, especially the excellent Godenfang. The embankment by the sea is also not far away, as is the center. Very friendly host and quite large pool area.

The description better described how it was found. A nice pool would be available, but unfortunately closed. The location is actually close to the sea, but unfortunately the port between them is impossible to pass. The owner is very nice and gave good advice for the rest of the trip.
Ants in the kitchen pool are closed.

The owner's greeting is really helpful. He took care of arranging an excursion to Sandwich Harbor with an excellent service agency.

Exceptional
Everything was great! A lovely host who met, told everything and even booked us a table in the restaurant. Closed parking, barbecue area and equivalent bedrooms in the apartment!
It is not very convenient to pay in cash and it is a pity that the pool did not work in September, the weather was normal for us and we would have bathed)

Disappointing
Convenient location, next to the bay. Very friendly owners, we had to leave very early in the morning and they kindly allowed us to check out early.
Unfortunately the pool was found to be unusable as the water was very dirty. The room was clean except for the sheets which were not changed prior to our arrival.

Recommended as an alternative to Swakopmund if you want to start excursions from Walvis Bay!
Small, very nice furnished apartment with everything you need. Walvis Bay harbor, from where sightseeing boats depart, is within walking distance. The owner is very nice, picked me up from the airport and even made a small detour to Dune7 which I would not have seen otherwise. Otherwise he was very polite and helpful. As he said, the anchored squids are really amazing!
