lovely good stay, definitely value for money!
beautiful, very tastefully decorated, wonderful beds, very clean, well stocked with soap, water, milk, coffee, cookies, etc., good shower, parking inside; quiet location in a safe area within walking distance of the bay, wish we were only there for 1 night!

This is a brand new property furnished with love and care. The kitchen is a real cooking kitchen, not a camping kitchen as you know it from other spaces. The tours offered in Buchan are highly recommended. Prices are the same no matter where you book your tours. We booked a kayak tour and also a dune tour. Our Gude "Hans" was great, it was a lot of fun with him.

Excellent experience
Just wow! A very nice house. Impressed with the quality of the organization. The places are really lovely, new, well thought out. We had housing ("comfort") with a garage accessible from inside our housing. Entrance, kitchen, stairs, bedrooms, bathroom ... everything was more than perfect in terms of design, cleanliness, atmosphere. Nothing is missing! WI-FI worked really well! Regarding safety, don't worry if you book at de Baken Self-Catering Walvis Bay, which has an alarm and safe entry / exit barriers. The communication with the staff was very good via SMS, they do everything to make the holiday perfect. The staff advised us to book a full morning excursion to Sandwich Harbor until 1:00 pm and drive an SUV through the dunes. The guide picked us up from the hotel, it was really perfect! We have great memories of this !! Thank you very much, we will not forget our visit and will definitely come back to you if we return to Walvis Bay! Thank you for being helpful, considerate, pleasant and very kind to us.
