The citadel is perfect. We felt incredibly good there. Stop for five days. We revived. Breakfast and dinner are delicious. And our hosts, Nadia and Javad, are of incomparable kindness and availability. This was my fourth time in Marrakech and I especially liked this place. Thanks again for everything.

Our stay with Nadia and Javad was perfect! The Citadel is magnificent, exceptional! We are quiet and we felt at home. We highly appreciated the reception and exchange of views with Javad and Nadia. The food was delicious and the pool house is top notch! We will return without hesitation!

The Citadel is an absolutely gorgeous place to visit. Garden, pool, bedroom, living room... everything is incredible. Excellent breakfast and dinner. Nadia is a fantastic host who goes above and beyond to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. In the evening: petanque, aperitif, music and fire by the pool... what more could you ask for! A magical place, a cocoon of well-being. I recommend 100%!

The exceptional Citadel has a crazy charm! There is a generous and warm atmosphere here. The beauty of its exterior, the character of the interior, including the attention to detail. Everything is done to make you feel good there, and it succeeds! Thanks to the wonderful owners Nadia and Javad. We will not forget: Nadya's kindness, her respect for her clients, her smile, her taste for hospitality, care for her interior and her kitchen... oh-la-la! Breakfast… dinner… a delight for the taste buds and an abundance of food, as Nadia says “Moroccan” 😉 Jawad’s passion for his beautiful appearance, his taste for aesthetics, balance and harmony, and his sense of conviviality… barbecue around the brazier between petanque games and his playlist. A little bow to Javad: Frank still hasn't recovered from the defeat in petanque (we were the strongest 😉)

I don't know where to start. We traveled a lot and for the first time felt at home. As soon as you get out of the car, you feel like you are with a family member you adore. Nadia is the epitome of benevolence at its peak. She was very caring, she went out of her way for all our needs and more. My three year old son was in heaven. Her husband, "Uncle" Javad, as I like to call him, is a man full of wisdom and humor. This is truly a winning team. The food is delicious and plentiful. The house and its exteriors (what to say). Charm around every corner. You get the impression that you are discovering a Zen paradise at any moment of the day. We can only be good. We were looking for a place to relax and unplug and, above all, a place where we could come on vacation or for a weekend each year without getting bored. Jackpot... Welcome to heaven on earth

Fairytale vacation! Javed and Nadia are lovely and very helpful people who helped us throughout our stay. Nadia's gourmet dishes (€25 per person). The citadel is a little far from the center of Marrakech, but the tranquility that reigns there is priceless. Thank you again for this holiday, we will be back with pleasure! See you later

It was one of the most beautiful experiences. it is actually in the palace, in the middle of nature. the owners are extremely kind, excellent breakfast; pool, yard, garden, whatever you want. Rarely have I found such a good hotel, as well as value for money. my congratulations for such a location!!

The citadel is a real calm paradise next to Marrakech and its madness. We felt at home there thanks to the reception of Nadia and Javad, very kind hosts who took great care of us! We had a very good time with them at the table, over tea or even around the fire near their magnificent pool! The garden is incredible, Javad accomplished a real feat! Thanks to him for visiting and explaining his garden. We loved Nadia's Moroccan cuisine at every meal, an amazing discovery! A small addition for growing aromatic and fruit trees in the garden. Without hesitation, we recommend relaxing in the Citadel for a few days! In short: a majestic garden with several seating areas, a large, very clean, wide and completely stone pool, mountain views, delicious food and excellent service, breakfast in an incredible setting, greetings from Nadia and Javad.

All! A magnificent building against the backdrop of the snowy Atlas, a garden, a huge hall, Nadia's delicious and very satisfying cuisine and especially the reception of Nadia and Javad, who make us feel at home.

The citadel was a very nice and clean place to stay next to Anima gardens. The host Nadia was very polite and helpful and always greeted us in a very friendly and polite manner. Their dogs are also very well behaved and very pleasant. One day we could have breakfast in a very nice and well kept garden and start the day so well. Unfortunately the weather was too fresh for us not to be able to use the pool.

Everything is perfect, a warm welcome, a relaxing environment, spacious and very comfortable rooms, a generous breakfast with thousands of flavors. Would highly recommend this charming place! Thanks to Nadia and Javad for sharing.

Nadia and Javad warmly welcome you and you will quickly feel like friends. Idyllic setting. Amber room of great comfort with quality bedding and great views. A beautiful pool and many seating areas scattered in a landscaped garden with many species of plants. An excellent and plentiful breakfast is served in the Zen garden. As for other dishes, Nadia also offers table d'hôte, she will prepare delicious, fresh dishes full of flavor, from local products or from her vegetable gardens. Ingenuity and generosity. To end these beautiful days in style, we shared great evenings with Javad on the program: petanque tournaments, wood-fired grills, laughter and good humor, all with a great selection of music. We leave with nostalgia for this beautiful guest house, eager to return as soon as possible.
