good location, cleanliness, large rooms
the music from the beach bar was not my style.
room size at the foot of the beach
non-existent personnel
Small family hotel on the beach. Friendly staff Efficient, quiet air conditioning, free drinking water and coffee Refrigerator in the room. Small swimming pool for hotel guests.
This hotel more than met our expectations and fully met our needs. In fact, there was nothing to complain about. The beach is wide, sun loungers + umbrellas are provided to hotel guests free of charge. Due to the time of year, there was a lot of seaweed on the beach. It was the only fly in the ointment.
Parking Kindness of the owners
Very nice luxury cabin Very helpful staff, we were able to stay in the room until 15:30 before departure. Perfect location by the sea
Poorly matched attention to maps.me
The location is excellent and very quiet, to the center / restaurants about 1 km, in the middle of the sand on the beach, great beach club, spacious, with air conditioning, fan, coffee maker, fridge and water dispenser. There was a house 3, all made of wood with a thatched roof, like a tree house, extraordinary! Diving center in the house. I can't appreciate the diving, but it seems like it's great, the boat went straight from the beach to the reefs. Compared to Playa and Cancun, Puerto is still very quiet and cozy!
rather dark because of the wood, no curtains, so bright as day from sunrise. Very open toilet in the room.
Right by the sea, beautiful sunrises and sunsets and walks are possible - Puerto Morelos is a great destination, but should be enjoyed elsewhere.
We stayed 3 nights in a standard villa which did not feel comfortable. The Villa is an aging, dark and noisy wooden hut. There is no mosquito net, so at night we were completely bitten by mosquitoes. In addition to mosquitoes, ants and spiders in the room, we had silverfish and droppings (mouse droppings?) In bed (!). They clean it only once every 2 days, a thorough cleaning is needed, there is a lot of dust on the wooden boards, cobwebs ... I didn't even want to unpack things. - Incorrect room description, no sea view at all (only sea view window). Shower and toilet are in the room and do not have a real door, no privacy. - There is no (manned) front desk and the hosts are not there, you are on your own. None of the staff say hello, we could only contact us through the booking if we had any questions. - Sun loungers and pillows on the beach are old, partially dirty and broken. While the other beach clubs on the beach were cleaning and getting ready from 8am, the first staff member did not arrive until 11am. Once they didn’t want to give us sun loungers because they didn’t know that we lived there. A few houses away there is a large construction site, from which construction noise is heard during the day. - The price-quality ratio, unfortunately, is not at all the same. 111 € / night for a room in a village hostel without food and service is simply unjustified. Right on the beach, closer to the center, we found so many better housing options for 50-80 euros that match the price level in Mexico.
Everything is perfect, our room was beautiful, with a direct view of the beach, equipped with everything you need, even the little things were taken care of. The staff are very friendly (Pamela looked after us amazingly, thank you very much), the beach club is very well located. The best pool with a pleasant temperature, the guacamole made in the kitchen is a delight. Definitely a great place to feel like in paradise. I recommend 100%.
great for relaxing and admiring nature, comfort and kindness
Location, on an exceptional beach, 10 minutes walk from the tourist center, still quiet this season!
