clear recommendation!
Super Guesthouse - a small feel-good oasis in George Town! all sights easily accessible on foot. everything very clean! Easy self check-in. Bathroom to share very clean and staff incredibly friendly! there are even bicycles to borrow free of charge and there is the possibility to do your laundry.
there is nothing to complain about.

unfortunately without fresh air supply and a stone bathroom without windows (smells a bit musty)

Beautiful guest house in a top location in the historic center.
Great and beautifully designed guest house in a historic building. The location couldn't be better. Kitchen with free drinking water, tea and coffee available. Shared bathroom very clean and functional.
Cat smell outside the room, but that doesn't bother us.

Paradise for cat lovers
The accommodation was very clean. The room was very spacious. Other than that nothing to complain about, it was great. The cats were also very nice!!
The walls were very thin so you could hear the neighbors (eg the alarm clock that often went off).

Could be cute, but very impersonal
The location is very good, the guest house is beautifully decorated. The value for money is reasonable.
Where we expected a homestay, it was literally a guest house, a guest house. It actually made it very impersonal, the staff were never there and when they were there they didn't say anything. Check-in was done over the phone and written rules are all over the place. This accommodation could be very nice but is really disappointing.

Good place to stay for a few days in Penang
Good location, good value for money. Free bikes for rent.
You must love cats. The smell is kind of intense after cats! The staff is present only sporadically.

Wonderful holiday
Great location and good value for money. Cats are a nice addition. Great night's sleep in a separate room, very quiet, nice and dark. Air conditioning and shower work well. We were able to borrow bikes for free, also very convenient. Although they were a bit small for us.
Like almost everywhere in Malaysia, there is a humidity issue that makes it smell a bit musty.

Great location, nice staff, nice rooms
Great guest house in a great location! Everything has been lovingly decorated, and even if the rooms do not have a window to the street, this hardly bothers you. Check-in went great, there were a few tips, and in a few minutes you are already in the middle of the action. Excellent value for money and quality!
Perhaps you could set up a small sitting area in the common rooms ☺️

Beautiful guest house, lively with all the cats walking around, friendly and helpful people and good amenities like a washing machine and coffee/tea/water.

Great location in a quiet guest house

the fact that the room did not have a window / daylight was a little embarrassing for us (but we knew this in advance)

A unique stay, especially for animal lovers.
Excellent location in the center. Unique decor and animal lover atmosphere. Laundry service and unlimited drinking water.

Proper rest in Penang
Good killing. The staff has always been very friendly, the cats that live in the hostel are very cute.

Great location. Mei is very friendly and likes to think with you, good advice on what to do. The rooms are comfortable and clean. There are some house cats walking around and if you're not careful entering the room we don't mind but I can imagine people don't like it.
A bit noisy, this is also honestly indicated when booking. It is wise to bring earplugs.

Stay of a couple
Youth hostel with a lot of charm. Very clean. A good place. I recommend without hesitation! The rooms are spacious, the bed is comfortable.

Nice hostel!
The cats are very cute and the rooms/house are very nicely decorated. The kitchen has everything you need. Even cold! Drinking water. The hostess is very nice and the self check in worked great.
The rooms are very very noisy. Depends on neighbors. One had neighbors who were all right, others were very annoying. They played pranks and talked all night, which made it difficult to sleep.

Great guest house!
The equipment is excellent, everything is thought out for the comfort of guests, it's just great! The location is great too, lots of delicious street food stalls nearby!
Perhaps the lack of interaction with managers and other owners, there is no place that lends itself to this, but the house is large and has the potential to develop such a space.

Cute cats, accommodation in the very center
The location was great. The cards are generally pretty. The hostess helps. The rooms are clean.
Small room for 2 people and it is a pity that breakfast is not offered, otherwise everything is fine.

Hostel for cat lovers
Super dear owner, gave a lot of advice and was always available for questions, often via whatsapp. The room was a good size, enough space and you had a small table to write on. The washing machine can be used at no extra charge, there are detergents and the ability to dry everything in the backyard. Cats run around the house, so there is always something to do, they are all very cute and love to be stroked. Late check out was possible at no extra cost. Free bicycles are provided. The best location 5 minutes to the central bus station 5 minutes to the popular Love Lane
We would like a small cozy seating area around the fountain to sit there in the evening. Everything else is great.

Very nice stay !!
Super clean and comfortable room, the bathrooms were shared and we always saw them clean and you can also use the washing machine. We didn't see the owner, but she was up to date on whatsapp. It is not centrally located but I was grateful for the opportunity to rest, it is a quiet street and just over 5 minutes from Chulia street.

Very cozy guest house
Very cozy guest house, you feel at home. The shared bathroom was always clean. There is tea, coffee and water for free. You can also use the washing machine. Domestic cats are among the most beautiful.
According to the owner at the time of booking, the soundproofing of the rooms is poor. You can hear almost every noise, whether it is towards the guest house or towards the street.

Excellent holiday home
Simply beautifully cooked, you feel very comfortable. The showers are separated from the toilets, everything is clean. Can't say much about the volume level as we were mostly alone, but there is carpet which definitely muffles footsteps. But of course you can hear other people stomp their feet and talk loudly. Cats roam freely around the house, this should not bother you. You can argue about the conditions of keeping a hare and a turtle, we were not enthusiastic either, but there are no minuses for this. You can use the refrigerator, kettle, dishes. May was constantly away from home, but she was always easy to reach via WhatsApp. Would return anytime! Don't be surprised: the house is now painted blue instead of white as in the pictures 😉

Good hostel for a few days in Georgetown
The best place to visit Georgetown. Very neat and nice rooms. Don't expect a hotel. It remains a hostel and you can see it in the price. Very good value for money

Perfect for cat lovers!
Beautiful decoration creates a very cozy atmosphere. The cats were the best, funny and full of character, they even came into the room when I invited them. Perfect location, right in the center, on a quiet street.
You can hear a little bit of everything, but they warn about this before confirming the reservation, and it's true, since there were few guests, we had no problems and nothing that a few tapans could not solve.

cat cafe and hotel
Free bicycles are super comfortable Convenient washing machine cats are healed
The room had no windows, so it was very humid. Also, the lights in the hallway didn't turn off, so it was bright even at night and it was hard to sleep. If it wasn't for that, the location and bicycles are convenient for sightseeing, so I wonder if it wasn't bad in terms of cost performance. Before booking, make sure there are windows facing the outside
