Great house, very nice owners and a beautiful place in nature. I liked the design and the houses. This is a beautiful place off the main road and you are in the middle of nature.
I found breakfast a bit expensive.

Complete lack of service and food We went because it was a BBQ and we ordered a typical roast goat dish for dinner. The goat was reheated from another and served cold and dry. Apart from the two second class rooms, one was a category lower than the second class, it had no terrace, no chairs to sit on and the bathroom was smaller. Finally, the bed in this room was uncomfortable and noisy.
The round house is nice and cozy, it's a new offering and they have a nice garden.
There wasn't much entertainment in the area or little information related to it.
You live in nature in a bungalow, around the birds sing, field, forest nature. Good kitchen, you can cook yourself. A wonderful route, if you walk early in the morning further along the road to the Nanyuki River (about 7 km), see the Kenyan village life as it is, and went for this. If you're lucky, you can meet baboons in the forest, it's closer to the foot of the mountain. And most importantly, except for me, there was no one else in the hostel.
Far from the city. First 2 km walk to the road, then 6 km matatu to the city for 30 shillings. There were several bikes in the hostel, but none of them worked. WiFi only works in the kitchen, not in the rooms.
