Good location. The room is clean after renovation. There is a restaurant downstairs which is convenient.
Few vending machines. No breakfast setting. (Corona measures?) Poor wiring in the parking lot.

Cost performance was good.
Stopped for a cheap price. The coffee served was delicious. There were many restaurants nearby, so I didn't have any trouble eating and drinking.
It felt far from the station than I thought, about 10 minutes on foot. In this case, the hotel in the west exit was better.

It's normal and good, because the hotel in Utsunomiya is especially below normal, or rather, it's a hotel that is unusually good, as there are no hotels with good service above the standard.
The bath towel for my 5-year-old child wasn't attached by default, so I got one at the front desk on the first day, but it wasn't there when I entered the room on the second night. It may be, but I thought that there are hotels in other places that leave towels after cleaning properly.

You can leave your luggage before check-in, but there is a separate parking fee, so it would be even better if you could stay before check-in without additional charge. As an alternative, it was good that they guided me to the affiliated parking lot in front of the station.

A hotel near the station?
Very close to the station. You can see the name of the hotel from the overpass, so you don't have to worry about getting lost without a map. There is a dumpling shop on the way, so it might be fun to stop by. There is an air purifier with a humidifier function in the room, and the tea bags and miso soup powder that you can get at the front desk give the impression that you can reach the itchy place.
It took a long time for the air conditioning to work, and the lack of fine temperature control. The hot water in the bath is basically hot, and I had the impression that it was about 39 degrees when I turned the faucet on the water side. It's winter, so I didn't have a fatal problem, but water didn't come out of the faucet.

A hotel near the station with excellent access
This is a hotel in an excellent location near the station, in a downtown area. It faces an alley one block from the main street, so you don't have to worry about the surrounding noise. The guest room was renewed, and the cleaning was meticulous, and thanks to the installed air purifier, I was able to spend a comfortable time.
At the time of check-in, there was an incident that a different guest's room key was handed over, but I immediately noticed and exchanged it.

GOOD for a short trip
There were many places to eat around the hotel and it was close to the station. The lobby was new and spacious, and free coffee was available.
The step between the bathroom and the floor of the room was high. The bathtub was also high and difficult to enter. It was a pity that the washbasin was not cleaned in detail.

It's fine for a one-night business stay, but not for sightseeing.
Close to the east exit of Utsunomiya station. The breakfast was mainly Japanese food, simple but delicious. Free coffee is available at the entrance (guests only). There is space to open a large suitcase. Amenities were substantial.
I chose a smoking room, but I was worried about the smell of cigarettes. Ventilation was also poor. The TV was not working well and was hard to watch. Some of the unit bath curtains were moldy.

The room lighting is only near the bed, it takes time to fill out the accommodation card at the front desk for each room, the voice of the person in charge is low It's hard to hear, you don't know if you keep customers waiting, the price of the meal is high because it doesn't include breakfast, there's a TV by the window and it's hard to open the curtains and windows, you can't see the hotel sign when you go by car (because it's high up, so you can't see it from the station) seems to be visible) etc.
