Our stay began with a very warm welcome from the hosts. The house is very well equipped both inside and outside. The pool with outdoor furniture is a piece of paradise. This hotel is in a great location for visiting Tuscany. We had a wonderful vacation there.

After Volterra, it is one kilometer, but also about 180 meters above sea level. Pizzeria Le Balze is great. At the campsite in the morning you will get a fresh panini and a good espresso. Volterra is a chic old place. Not so well known by its name, but all the more beautiful and not so crowded. Most of the year, the owners live in the house themselves, so you move almost privately.

This placement is absolutely recommended. The attractive interior (air conditioned in the bedroom) with generous "gifts" from the host upon arrival (homemade olive oil and delicious apricot jam, sparkling wine and drinks upon arrival, 1kg of coffee beans for the best coffee maker) immediately suited us. welcome. The top-floor swimming pool with a top view is located about 50m below the house. Lavish furniture here too. The house is located about 3 km below Volterra and can be reached by a narrow and steep serpentine road. You have a lot of space for yourself. But there are good shopping opportunities for every day and, of course, in Volterra itself - a place that has attracted us more and more for two weeks. We have countless photographs of this beautiful landscape at different times of the day and from different angles. Contacting homeowners in Holland via whattsapp was no problem, but they also visit the site regularly. Our adult sons (22 + 24 years old) were also delighted with the accommodation and the surroundings. Places like Florence, Pisa, Lucca, Siena were easily accessible. We really want to come back. The place is a small paradise.
