Impossible arrival situation: mobile phone video to "find" from the address stored on booking.com which is fake one block away!! The correct address is above Via Fiorilli 8. Card payments via Booking were not initially accepted, although we were able to explain everything in the local language - if you don't speak Italian, you would be completely lost! A cheeky and disrespectful way to demand an "additional charge" ostensibly due to our late arrival - indeed, this was already stipulated in the contract regardless of the time of arrival, so one wonders how the host can treat guests in this way. Unloved equipment (torn oilcloth ceiling, sagging mattresses, lack of hooks for towels in the bathroom), incredibly poor soundproofing - now we all know! from our neighbors.

There is nothing to report

The check-in procedure is carried out in a repetitive and persistent manner (continuous phone calls and requests for arrival time, even though we have adapted to the indicated check-in time). Cash payment is no longer used everywhere and a clear rejection of a credit card. Surcharge for sheets and towels (poor quality, especially "worn" towels), as well as requesting a commission for settling with an increase in the cost of both by about 70 euros.
