Tranquility and solitude in the mountains, but by the sea.
View. 3 star service plus. Pool and cleanliness. Well stocked and served breakfast.
Air conditioning was sufficient, but in the evening and at night, with the windows open it was fine, as shown in the attached photo...;).

Superb base camp on the heights of Sestri Levanto
Exceptional view from room 12 with terrace, as well as from the breakfast room and pool. The hotel, built on a hill, offers a location conducive to the most enchanting views of the sea and the surrounding hills, a real treat. A swimming pool to cool off in August, a garden and its small landscaped corners in the shade of trees. Hearty breakfast and helpful staff. Room 12 is spacious and comfortable.
Perhaps the geographical location, a little far from Sestri Levanto and the sea, which means you have to take a car, and the lack of walks in the immediate vicinity of the hotel. But it's okay.

We have stayed at this hotel many times and will definitely come again.
The staff were very pleasant as always. The breakfast is very rich and you will be served very attentively. The view of Sestri Levante is beautiful both from the balcony and during breakfast. The pool has always been very clean and tidy.

Very good hotel in a quiet natural location with a beautiful view of the sea.
The location of the hotel is beautiful on a hill with a tailwind in the summer. The pool area is pleasantly quiet behind the hotel. Breakfast with a lot of choice can be enjoyed in a cool environment. Lots of trees, bushes, wonderful.

A great place for those who love silence and individuality
A wonderful little hotel with an exceptional location. The room was a bit small but with a balcony and a unique view. Air conditioning was worth its weight in gold on those hot days. The staff is very friendly and the other guests are very nice.

everything is really great, the facility, the room, the great view. you are warmly welcomed by the owners and Roberta, who will make sure to provide you with all the information, including booking tables in good restaurants with a 10% discount. they all speak French and English. Even the breakfast is homemade and served on the top terrace.

An oasis off the coast!
This establishment is a small oasis a few steps from the Cinque Terre, Porto Fino, Genet... The hotel is located in an elevated position with a magnificent view of the entire valley. A must have for a refreshing drink by the pool... There aren't many bedrooms here and it has a pretty "family" feel to it, we really enjoyed it. And the icing on the cake: the staff is very caring and very "real", it's real kindness, not a forced smile!
Maybe a little more equipment in the room...

Old building but efficient, surrounded by nature, close to Sestri Levante and the motorway. Well equipped swimming pool, jacuzzi. Clean bathroom with large, well-functioning shower. Great breakfast buffet
A minimum meal for the evening would have been necessary to avoid taking the car back.

Room size/room decor (old fashioned/worn out) + value for money. € 150.00 per night is too expensive for this accommodation. The breakfast was varied but unfortunately there was no fresh bread.

Very nice hotel with great views
The sea view from our balcony was amazing. From there or from the quiet terrace of the bar downstairs, you could watch the beautiful sunset. The staff are very friendly and polite. The breakfast leaves nothing to be desired, salty or sweet, and here you can really go for anything with pancakes, eggs, bacon, and homemade jams and cakes. The pool is also very nice.
You should know that you definitely need a car. The restaurant that was next to the hotel and was mentioned in some reviews no longer exists and the hotel itself only serves delicious focaccia as a snack. So, whether you want to go to the beach or grab a bite to eat, you always need to drive. And the second problem, for which the hotel itself is not responsible: the parking situation in Sestri Laventa is not better than in other tourist resorts, and depending on the time of day, you can drive several circles until you get a free space.

Nice hotel with great views.
The staff are very nice. The object is really located in a very beautiful place. The view is really amazing. But the car is always needed. The rooms and the hotel are very attractive. And the size of the hotel is perfect too. The breakfast was delicious and it was important to keep your distance. Breakfast was organized so that there were never too many people in the breakfast room at the same time. The pool is a good size for a few laps. The area is very well maintained.
The jacuzzi was dirty from insects. This is where the cover comes in. A small information brochure in different languages would also be helpful. For example, parking in a city or the best way to get around is by train. And with multiple directions. Rooms need little maintenance. Slat cabinet doors. Toilet flush that doesn't shut off. This has been renovated upon request. But a day later it didn't turn off again. But these are all little things.

The hotel is easy to find and the staff are always ready to make your stay more enjoyable. They also try very hard to find the optimal solution for special requests. The view you have from the property in the area is better than the pictures. The furnishings are elegant and simple, the surrounding area is always clean and well maintained. Everything was perfect for me, if I go to the region again, I will book here again

There was no restaurant - we knew about it in advance, but if only there was something that you could order during the day, for example, for the evening, at least in limited quantities. Because to get to shops / restaurants you have to go down the mountain. By the way, at noon there was just a sandwich or a sandwich.

Ideal for a minute's break away from the city, which is only 7 minutes away.

Highly Recommended! Nice view and quiet place.
Quiet, beautiful, comfortable hotel, listed in the Michelin guide. Rooms are not too large or fresh, but clean and tidy. The rooms on the second floor at the back have mountain and pool views and are slightly quieter. Very friendly and personalized service.
A bit more expensive than the average 3 * hotel.

Italian dream
The family atmosphere on the territory should be emphasized. The small team greeted us warmly and accommodated all requests (e.g. laundry). Breakfast had everything you needed, especially delicious coffee. We also loved the pool and the view of Sestri Levante - we enjoyed this evening with wine served, for example. Overall, we liked it so much that we extended it by 2 nights.

Small well-kept hotel in a beautiful quiet location
Nice little hotel run by very friendly owners in a beautiful panoramic location that you can already enjoy with breakfast. After the hustle and bustle of the beach, we enjoyed the peace and quiet in a well-kept outdoor area and a beautiful quiet pool ;-) The rooms are very clean with a balcony and great views of the sea or the hills, both very beautiful! The location is ideal for trips to Portofino and the Cinque Terre. We enjoyed our stay!

We had a very pleasant stay at the Relais San Rocco. Very nice room, spacious and comfortable, with a beautiful bathroom and a balcony with a great view! The pool is very well planned and very clean and we had a great time there. A rich and varied breakfast with a breathtaking sea view. A special mention of the quality of service: the attentive and very kind staff, always ready to make our stay even more pleasant. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone wishing to visit the area and look forward to returning!

Beautiful view of the Gulf of Sestri Levante
Towels and sheets, although dirty, were not changed during the week of stay. There are no eateries within walking distance. The drawers in the bed drawer did not open, the drawer was screwed to the wall. The toilet lid fell off (screws rusted). The hotel is located in the mountains and is therefore not suitable for swimming, but for hiking and excursions. However, the earliest opportunity to have breakfast was at 8:30, 9:30 or 10:30 am.

It was good.
Friendly staff, very good hygiene, air conditioning in the room. The pool is great in the heat. Good sunbeds for sunbathing or in the shade.
I think that 160 euros per night without tourist tax is really too expensive in proportion. It wasn't so luxurious anymore. In the sense that there were no obvious extras justifying 160 euros per night. I understand this is for a room for 2 people so 80 pp I think it's ok but for one person it's really out of proportion. And no single rooms for rent. So for 2 it's normal, but for 1 it's not proportional. The surrounding things are difficult to reach on foot. There are no good hiking trails up or down the mountain.

Short but very enjoyable stay!
Quality breakfast with typical products and handmade products. The breakfast room has great views. The location is close enough to Sestri but makes it quiet and surrounded by nature. The staff were friendly and very welcoming even towards our dog.
Overall, we slept well, but a couple would have preferred a single double mattress rather than two single beds pushed together for the occasion.

During this funny period there is no restaurant... But you can order a pizza or go shopping and eat with a sea view... Too good!

I can only speak for myself. Rooms on the 1st floor with sea view are very good. Great view of Portofino. Very friendly staff. Everything is very clean and tidy. Nice big breakfast menu. It can be said that operators are also owners.
The air conditioner could have cooled a little better at night. But it normal. Card readers at the entrance to the room often recognize the card only after the 5th attempt.

The pool is very beautiful and respected. What can not be said about the cleaning of the rooms.
Except they stole my plate and said it was a dog hotel when I had to justify my every move? I didn't like that if it's a dog shelter they don't have to call me while I'm having lunch to tell me my dog is crying because if it's a puppy it's normal for him to cry when I leave him for a while. one. More than a vacation, it's been a constant excuse for where I'm going and why I'm going. Stress. I don't take my dog out in the sun at noon, but in the end, in order not to hear the constant moans of the managers, I always kept him, not enjoying anything, because there was not a minute of respite from them. I'm not going on vacation to tell you how I deal with my relationship with animals. Go to this hotel if you are old and hate animals. Actually no, don't go there if you hate animals because they are allowed, but only because they have their dog that enters everywhere, even your rooms. Hair straightener thieves, boring abusers and fakes.

Wonderful holiday
The hotel is located on a hill above Sestri Levante and you can enjoy a beautiful view of the sea and the Gulf of Sestri Levante while having breakfast. The pool is beautifully designed and we really enjoyed our stay. As the breakfast buffet was not allowed to be offered due to corona, we were served in person. There was a variety of breads and toast, ham, cheese, egg and bacon dishes, fruit, muesli, juices, homemade cakes and specialty coffees. Sestri Levante can be reached by car in 5 minutes.

Very good stopover on the way to Tuscany
The location on the mountain above the bay is very good. The house enjoys a quiet location on Via Aurelia, SS1, which leads along the ancient route from Rome along the coast to Ventimiglia and France. If you have time and you are heading towards La Spezia, you should turn left at the hotel and follow this road. The house lives on by the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. The place of Sestri Levante is beautiful, quickly explored, many restaurants.
There is nothing to complain about, it does not work without a set of wheels.

Italy away from the crowd, beautiful
Very good breakfast, very friendly staff, they speak several languages, many tips for excursions, beautiful location above the coast, good and newly built road to Albergo, well maintained pool, unfortunately no more sun by the pool in autumn from late evening. in the afternoon a very good and cheap train connection to the Cinque Terre.
Unfortunately at 2pm or night there is very loud music from 2 blocks which are usually closed. It's a shame, because we booked a room on the mountain to enjoy the peace and quiet that also reign here. It was just bad luck.

I found myself very well! I took a two day vacation to this amazing gannet hotel.
I especially liked the relaxation that I was able to enjoy, as well as their kindness and empathy! Beautiful view of the landscape and a comfortable jacuzzi to relax in!

2nd visit to San Rocco
This was our second visit to San Rocco (first time in 2017). This time, too, we chose to start our holiday with 3 days in this wonderful, quiet, beautiful place. This is the place to get down to gear and enjoy your vacation. The view from the hotel is formidable and the pool area is wonderful.
Not really anything negative. The hotel is up in the hills, so of course it is 3-4 km down to the city, so a car is required.
