Charming place in the middle of greenery, fabulous welcome, strategic position, quality food. Suitable for all types of travellers: couples with children, travelers seeking adventure and immersion in nature, tourists seeking peace and relaxation. mr. Alfio and Mrs Nunzia with their kindness and availability made us feel very welcome. A place that combines beauty and attention to detail with the heart of Sicilian hospitality.

Beautiful structure: refurbished millstone with lovely outdoor area, complete with vegetable garden, donkey, goat, pig and chickens. Attentive and helpful staff, but at the same time very respectful of guests' space and privacy. Hearty breakfast with yoghurt, muesli and cereal, fresh fruit, jams, bread, cakes and homemade biscuits. We were also offered a savory breakfast, but we opted for the sweet one. We arrived in November and the rooms have heating and you can adjust it to your liking so we didn't suffer from the cold (no it's not hot in Sicily all year round)!
The bed creaked a bit, but that didn't stop us from sleeping well!
Great location to visit Mount Etna and walk down to the sea and visit Catania; Taormina: etc. The hillside location guarantees pleasant temperatures in summer. Beautiful swimming pool in a panoramic position. Excellent quality breakfast and dinner with excellent value for money. A few kilometers from the largest and oldest tree in Europe.
