The location and Ovili are exceptional, the rooms are well appointed. We recommend!

Quiet place to relax and spend a nice weekend accompanied by good food.
Panorama with great views, tranquility of the area immersed in the countryside, recommended for walks. Healthy food, even if it is too much. I highly recommend this property at any time of the year.
Maybe even a little maintenance wouldn't hurt.

Always beautiful, hospitable and exquisite food. Friendly and helpful staff.
We have been there several times and every time we have had problems paying by credit or debit card due to very poor internet connection in the building and we always had to look for an ATM to withdraw and pay cash. This is a service that definitely needs to be fixed, the exact amount of the bill is not always known and therefore it would be better to be able to pay with cards ...

Looking for rest and good food...
Fantastic location ... in the middle of nature .... Rooms with every comfort. Rest, walks and good food !! Very good dinner with local products. Attentive and very polite staff.

African flavor in the middle of Sardinia
Villaggio Antichi Ovili was an absolute highlight at the end of our 3 week tour of Sardinia. This place is unique not only because of the extraordinary hospitality and exceptionally good food, but also because of the African flavor and breathtaking view of the valley.

Stay days of time.
Staff, Atypical architecture, Sardinian cuisine, room size, cleanliness, view of lesser known Sardinia, sunset.
Nothing, because before leaving we knew that there was no pool and that this was not all. But since we are on a motorbike, we cannot spend more than 2 nights in isolation and without a pool.

Mega location! Extraordinary atmosphere!
The place is something special! By the way, the entrance too. Visually gorgeous and quirky atmosphere! Good dinner/snack bar. Breakfast is Italian, simple, with lots of prepackaged sweets. You can park your car right in front of the front door.
Some things may need touch up, front door, shower.

Unusual and very pleasant rooms. Excellent restaurant with typical cuisine, generous portions and more than reasonable prices. The impeccable hospitality and professionalism of Mr. Donato! Optimal position for Nuraghi tour.
There is no wifi and the bathrooms need updating.

Night in a nuragic hut
Experience sleeping in a nuragic hut-like stone sheepfold with basalt stones, juniper, reeds, and even earthenware on the ground. Try! A plateau to which the bells of the valley below rose, a view of the lake in an area full of sea, the wind. The cuisine is excellent with local products. Very kind and helpful staff.
The paths leading to the plateau were closed. I would like to go there far and wide.

Lovely village not to be missed
This is definitely one of the most charming and original places in Sardinia... as if you are living in a fairy tale from the past. The food is good and the staff is very friendly. Recommended for those who want to visit the archaeological sites of Barumini, but above all Nuraghe Orrubiu, the most beautiful in Sardinia.
Not much to say... unfortunately, he is not as well known and popular as he deserves to be. It's not a 5 star hotel, but it's close. Don't pretend it's a rustic building, so it's best to leave it. I would only improve breakfast with something typical homemade

Architectural restoration of ancient sheepfolds in a dominant position and at the center of many important archaeological parks. Excellent Sardinian dinner in the old fireplace room and very friendly and helpful staff. Try !

Location, super kindness of the staff, excellent and plentiful dinner and breakfast. Very good value for money.
Shower cabin and faucets to change. A bathroom stove would be perfect.

Beautiful place
I liked everything: the place is beautiful, the room is comfortable, spacious, clean. The property manager and the staff we met were very kind and professional. We were pleased that the room was already heated. Dinner and breakfast are prepared with quality products and with care. We'll be back!
There is nothing that we did not like, but we recommend putting a heater in the bathroom in winter.

Fantastic experience in vintage sheepfolds!!!
The structure of the sheepfolds is original and characteristic, immersed in untouched nature, the surrounding landscape is beautiful. Very kind owner and excellent typical cuisine.
In the bathroom, due to humidity, the suspended ceiling of the showers deteriorated, as a result of which pebbles turned black and fell. I recommend sheathing the shower ceiling.
