location, breakfast, hostess
a bit damp in the house
The attention of the host was very kind, so much so that it feels bad to write such a bad review, but the truth is that as a guest I would like to have known before choosing this accommodation what I was going to find.
The location is not good. The property is in the middle of nowhere but right at the crossroads of two roads, so the views are not far away and you can hear noise from passing cars, if it were in the middle of the city I would say it is a quiet place, but being in the middle of nowhere you can... The garden that you see in the photos we found very neglected, with weeds and junk, it was not a place that we found "charming" exactly... With all this, it would not have been bad if the cleaning was not so poor. The room was full of dust, the shower so dirty and full of black mold and lime that we preferred to take a shower despite needing it. The dirt in the kitchen is to be fed separately... We would not return.
Breakfast very good but the place is very badly placed in a dangerous intersection.
the place in height is very badly indicated and in a dangerous intersection. Parking at height with a very sharp bend on gravel is borderline dangerous. Besides, I damaged the front of my car (bumper and underbody)
Let's start by saying that the lady welcomed us very well and that the b&b is very nice and characteristic. Once we got inside she showed us to our room.. it was small, simple and cosy. It seemed a little different from the one I had booked on booking but I thought it was just my impression. I open Booking to check the photos of the room I had booked and it wasn't the one. I had reserved a bigger and nicer room, overlooking the garden and not the parking lot. After 20 minutes we report the matter via whatsapp to the lady who had left in the meantime and she replies after an hour saying that there had probably been a mistake.. at which point we ask what to do but we don't get any response! I want to say that the other rooms were free for the first night. The night passes and the next day during breakfast the lady tells us that she is very sorry for the mistake but she does not give us the possibility to change the room. She doesn't mention a refund or some other solution. At that point we talk to booking who asks the lady for explanations. The fact is that after this situation the lady gets annoyed and before leaving after the second night she also takes us back for having reported the matter to booking saying that she would have discounted something directly for us.. to remedy the error, €15 in total refund for two nights that we do not accept demanding more .. and here comes the fun part .. Booking lets us know that we can't give more because the lady said we checked out late .. the truth is that we are left at 11 and check out could be done until 12.45 .. a lie. Now starting from the fact that it was a gift for my boyfriend's birthday and I chose that b&b for that room that I've never had, I understand that there may be a mistake.
Alessandra is a very hospitable and very nice family that makes us feel like part of the family. Many services are available (refrigerator, freezer, ventilation, free water, private parking ....) The villa is located in the middle of greenery. Recommended for those traveling to Tuscany.
Clean well furnished room. Comfortable beds!! Good place to stay.
Alessandra was a very caring hostess and full of positive energy. The breakfast was delicious and very nice in his little garden.
Access by car is a bit dangerous, you have to be very careful when accessing the house
We loved the welcome and the place itself which was charming and pleasant. Good geographical position.
Our room was outside Greve in a country house (a bit hidden and not easy to find with the navigation system) lovingly run by our hostess. The rooms were clean and furnished with love. Only the bed was too soft for our taste. Breakfast in the garden made up for everything your heart desires. In general, the hosts were very nice, gave advice about the area, recommended restaurants and places of interest. Simply unbeatable at this price!
The bed could be a little firmer.
Italian breakfast - very good
The road to the parking lot is very narrow
The villa is idyllic located and very nicely furnished. Alessandra and her husband welcomed us very warmly and gave us many helpful tips for our stay and trip to Florence. The breakfast was lovingly prepared and served and of course delicious.
Excellent hospitality and availability. Great location, isolated but Greve can be reached by car in a few minutes. Excellent breakfast: it is varied with salty and homemade desserts. Comfortable mattress, but the slatted base creaks.
Bathroom. As others have mentioned, the shower does not maintain the temperature, there is little room for towels. The door is in conflict and does not reflect the care of the rest of the structure.
All! Location, comfort of the room, availability of the hostess. We also appreciate the breakfast: excellent!
The stay was very enjoyable. Great service, delicious breakfasts, atmospheric place with a view.
great place to visit the Chianti area. Very helpful owner.
found a few hairs in the shower, the towel was lightly stained. The bed creaked, and the very thin walls made it possible to hear guests in the next room. Good breakfast but nothing special.
Breakfast, location, staff friendliness
outside bathroom
Alessandra was a great hostess, she kept us entertained with her amazing breakfast (colazione), she and her husband advised us on the best things to know and gave us her kindness until the last moment...we will repeat
The place, but above all the owner, Alessandra, an exceptional person, a sweet and great hostess. Fantastic breakfast, very rich and authentic. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
Nothing
Location, cleanliness, but above all the professionalism of the managers, available and at the same time friendly and ready to meet any need. Excellent and varied breakfast. For these reasons, I would love to return to this place.
Of course nothing
The hostess was very nice and always cooked a good breakfast. The breakfast room was very good
The bathroom/shower was very small and cramped. The door to the bedroom didn't close properly which was inconvenient for staying for several days.
Familiar and welcoming environment, good home made breakfast and the owner was very kind and helpful.
The hostess is fantastic! Very friendly, great tips and ideas on what to look out for. The breakfast is varied and prepared with great enthusiasm every morning. The cake is delicious! It was a great time and I will definitely book with her again.
The room is small, there is nowhere to put the suitcase, it does not interfere. For a solo traveler, this is not so problematic, but the room will be too small for two.
Really great accommodation in a beautiful setting with comfortable furnishings. The hosts greeted us very warmly upon arrival and we felt very comfortable from start to finish. The breakfast was really fantastic! We will be back at any time.
The taste of the ambience and the courtesy of the reception, never excessive, but the delicate attention of an exquisite hostess.
I don't know everything is beautiful
Hospitality, excellent and plentiful breakfast in a relaxing environment. Good location to visit various villages in the area
Good private parking but difficult to access
All very pleasant, very kind host and attentive to my lactose intolerance, rich breakfast. Great location to get to nearby places. Featured!
Alessandra and her husband are friendly and always available people. The property is very beautiful and has a great location. We had a room with an external bathroom. Everything was very clean, including the common areas. A sweet and savory breakfast is served in the garden. A place that I would definitely recommend.
Super welcome
Very friendly helpful hostess. Clean room and close to all wineries and city center.
The managers are very approachable and pleasant (speak English if necessary) More room than hotel (4 rooms in total) Very generous homemade breakfast Ideal location in the heart of Chianti
The bathroom is individual, but separate from the bedroom (there is, however, a detail nearby)
Rustic and beautiful place. Hearty homemade breakfast in the garden. Very friendly and helpful hosts. Private parking!
Super cute hostess (and host) !! We liked the very rich breakfast. Really amazing
No cons
I stayed at Villa Corinna on the occasion of a cycling trip; the structure went along the route I had planned, so it was in an optimal position. In any case, the location is good considering the proximity to Greve (about 3 km). The owners were very friendly and helpful and gave us great directions for dinner. Super breakfast perfectly served in a magical setting with pleasant background music.
Shameful for the bathroom, a bit narrow and with a little water from the sink. The price for me is perhaps a little overpriced, but in line with the amenities in the area.
The hostess is very kind and welcoming. The room was very comfortable and clean. Super breakfast and they are gluten free! Highly recommend!
The lady who welcomed us was very helpful and kind, the structure is very nice and the room is tidy and very clean.
Great location, quiet but close to the center. The owner is very friendly and nice. Good experience
The villa is very beautiful, the room is thought out to the smallest detail and clean. Very good and rich breakfast. Alessandra and her husband are very sweet and helpful. It's like a house. I highly recommend. We'll be back.
The quality of rest, thanks to the excellent mattress, pillows and silence. The room was really spacious and comfortable. Plentiful and good breakfast. Spontaneous courtesy of the owner.
Just to find a defect covering the bathtub panel; take a shower, it caused some stability issues.
The owner Alessandra treated us very well.
We liked everything
The tranquility, friendliness of the owner and attention to detail. Great breakfast in the garden
Great location for sightseeing in Chianti Also great dinner with perfect value for money
Hospitality, room and quiet location.
Very nice and quiet place, Alessandra and Rui from fantastic hosts, clean and comfortable room, like the whole structure, great and fresh breakfast (including vegetarian option!)
The villa is located 5 minutes from Castello Verrazzano, surrounded by greenery. Comfortable room and excellent breakfast.
The villa is somewhat concentrated in terms of space
Excellent breakfast: sweet and salty, very plentiful. Greetings from the owners The bed and breakfast is very tastefully decorated.
Enthusiastic welcome with lots of advice and a good explanation of the region. She even arranged a phone call for us to rent bikes. The breakfast was excellent! In good weather in your garden. Enjoy! Contrary to previous reviews, she is easy to find and reports her location directly via WhatsApp.
A bit of privacy in a relatively cramped hotel room. The shower got cold after a few minutes.
Very nice hosts, beautiful room!
The breakfast is outstanding by Italian standards. And very lovingly prepared.
Next to a busy road.
Friendly and welcoming owners. Family environment.
The bathroom is too small. Slightly cold room, however due to an unexpected drop in temperature.
The breakfast was good and upon request we were served in the garden. Alessandra, our hostess was very friendly. The area is excellent. With a car, you are very flexible. All restaurants in the area have very good pasta (homemade).
Our room was very small for a 10 day stay. The villa is secluded. Restaurants are almost only accessible by car. Our room overlooking the street was very noisy.
The courtesy and professionalism of the owners: they welcomed us with snacks and showed us the sights in the Chianti area. A clean structure equipped with a place for hand disinfection at the entrance, well furnished both in the common areas and in the room. Very rich and varied breakfast with sweet and savory products served in the garden. Convenient location to reach Greve in Chianti in a few minutes by car.
A few steps from the center of Greve, the host was nothing short of spectacular, available for any request, breakfast in the garden with a beautiful view of the vines. I hope to return there.
The staff is very kind and helpful. Great location. Clean and comfortable room. Quiet place. Excellent breakfast. Highly recommended! We'll be back!
Considered slightly noisy traffic, probably due to the network.
Availability and kindness of the lady. Excellent and plentiful breakfast
Our room was very small, small, small. Very basic accommodation. It is true that there are common areas in the building, for example an internal kitchen, but under the conditions of the covid regime, no one wants to use the common areas.
Lovely stay, Alessandra very approachable, felt like she was in the family, great housekeeping, good location for visiting the beautiful Chianti hills and also a stopover in Florence. Authentic and varied breakfast with excellent, natural products according to our taste. We will definitely be back!!
Shower even though we already knew we had a bath.
Hearty breakfast in a well-kept garden. The kindness and availability of the owner.
Nice and relaxing stay, kind and helpful welcome!
The villa was very beautiful, clean and comfortable room. The couple who run it are very nice and helpful. Excellent breakfast prepared in the garden with very good products. Super recommended! I hope to return soon!
The friendliness of the owner, the richness of the breakfast
Guest house with great charm Owner cares a lot about his guests, exceptional welcome. Breakfast in the garden was excellent We recommend without hesitation
Nothing
I really liked the owners of the house - kind and helpful people. They were ready to help as much as possible and suggest everything that we needed. The breakfast deserves special praise - very tasty and varied. The room is clean and comfortable.
Everything was great, nothing to complain about.
The value for money is adequate. Structure in a strategic position in relation to Greve in Chianti and a few steps from the beautiful Castello di Verrazzano winery. Friendly and helpful owners. Nice breakfast and great mocha coffee! recommended
Clean room. Sweet and hearty breakfasts. Very kind owner
Alexandra, the owner, is very attentive and friendly. Suggested what to visit in Tuscany
Once again, this is not a hotel but a private house!
Breakfast and pleasant treatment from the owner
The room is very nice but somewhat old, the mosquito net is broken and a few insects got through and the mattress needs to be changed.
Great breakfast including homemade cakes, lots of tips for exploring the area, quiet location, parking spaces.
All! Beautiful village! Better attention from Alessandra is impossible! Beautiful room! Great location! Delicious homemade breakfast!
Any! Everything is fine!
A place for those who want to stay between Florence and Siena
Beautiful place, we stayed there to get to various Chianti villages, the location is great and the owners are unique courtesy and availability. The room is tastefully furnished and immaculately clean. The patio, where breakfast can be served, is surrounded by greenery and creates an additional sense of relaxation. Upon request, we were served a typical Tuscan dinner, very good. I highly recommend dining there at least one evening.
Nothing.
The hosts were very nice and even let us leave the car on site during our multi-day bike tour. The room is good, nothing is missing. Breakfast in the garden was especially beautiful and delicious! At the end of the bike tour we would like to come back for one more night, unfortunately there were no more rooms available.
Nothing!
The rooms are located in an authentic house, nice and small, only 3 rooms for rent. It's not a super suite, but everything you need is there and more than great for this price range. Alessandra was the perfect, fun hostess who immediately offered coffee upon arrival and gave some tips for dinner etc. Also, she speaks excellent English. When I returned late at night, she and her husband invited me to the garden for a drink with other guests. Everyone is very friendly. Upon checking in, I was immediately asked what exactly I needed for breakfast and the next morning it was ready for me. Not a buffet but served in the garden. Upper.
As noted by other guests, the location on the booking is incorrect - Alessandra claims to have raised this issue several times. It can be found on Google Maps as "Villa Korinnagori". There is a restaurant within walking distance but it is quite expensive and rather formal. Besides, it was full. An alternative is a trip to Greve in Chianti, there are many offers, but you need your own transport. There were a lot of mosquitoes, the owners say that they are active only around 19:30. The rooms have mosquito nets so it wasn't a big problem in itself.
Alessandra's reception, room decor, exceptional breakfast
a little hard to find, a bit far from Greve in Chianti
The welcome is very warm and the place is very pleasant. The breakfast offered is just perfect. We had a great night there. I highly recommend!
- Super nice owners who gave tips on the area - breakfast was cooked with lots of love and first class - very clean room - quiet location and great starting point We will be back anytime.
There is nothing negative about it.
Really nice and very welcoming, the rooms were well furnished and clean. The welcome was Tuscan worthy...breakfast in the garden with a variety of fresh and homemade products....be it for one night or more, I recommend it
The structure seen from the outside doesn't exactly match what it actually looks like inside...
Alessandra was a wonderful hostess and prepared a wonderful breakfast in the garden. Nice and clean room and cold drinking water.
The place is beautiful and the welcome was fantastic, Alessandra made us feel right at home! A must try if you want to explore the Greve area.
To be honest.... I had to search a little, because it was not so easy with the names of the streets. But always in touch with the owner Alessandra, she was able to get us home in a few minutes. After a warm welcome and a good cup of coffee, we were allowed to move into nicely furnished rooms. We lacked nothing. In the morning we were woken up by a great breakfast. ...lots of great information about the country and people on top of that. This time for us as a stopover and next time we would like to stay 2/3 days longer. Mille Geazie di tutto Alessandra again! Oh, please!
