The property is directly across from a bar that is open all night every day where roaring and screaming people drink alcohol all night. Double windows block out traffic and other noises, but you can still hear them. We were in October and despite the off-season the whole apartment is teeming with mosquitoes, sitting on all walls and ceiling :-(

Unfortunately, there was no way to leave luggage at the reception, so we had to look for a locker, there are several dead mosquitoes on the walls of the room. The building is old, you had to climb a few steps to get to the rooms, which is not very convenient with suitcases, but otherwise everything is fine.

Noise. The room has double glazing, but sometimes not enough to deal with noise at night. I think an extra pair of earplugs would be nice. It is also a pity that there is no table at which you can drink tea.

There were a few mosquitoes, mosquito nets would have been great.

Attention of the staff.

Check in at 2pm is very inconvenient and I find it frustrating. There is no minibar. Barely enough room service: 4 bags of instant coffee and 4 bags of tea. 2 bars of soap and 1 soap dispenser in the shower. Beware of mosquitoes in the room.

The layout of the room was a little odd

The day before, however, I called because we are contacting you to pay.. taxes. And we warn you at the last minute that you will not be able to return without! However, I have already paid more than 600 €, but no, no taxes: no code, no keys to enter the apartment! I asked to do it on the spot: impossible. Since the reception is never empty, you must make sure to pay your taxes before you check in, even if you are in the middle of the Tuscan countryside without Wi-Fi....!!!! this is to be expected!! fortunately, it somehow annoyed me on the phone in English because they don’t speak French, the person signed up for me with a passport and all the information that could be done long before that, calmly, if there was some DIRECT COMMUNICATION! ! but there that neni! without contact everything happens!! as soon as you pay everything, you will receive the order of entry into the building: 3 doors, 2 codes, safe, 4 keys!! this system, which I didn't know, seems to be common. next time it will be without me, I will return to the classics with a travel agency and a hotel. I prefer to pay more and be in contact with people! besides, since there is no one, you have to carry your suitcases with you to leave or leave them in the luggage room, which, fortunately, is a few streets away. either fly out at 6am, or pay 4x the plane fare and wait at the airport... I didn't use baggage claim, I had a coffee downstairs with a restaurateur and waited for my taxi, which should be reserved the day before. it was very noisy in the neighboring apartments in the complex.

An interesting and non-contact, but quite complicated key collection system. The customer has to go through the on-line registration system himself. I recommend having a mobile phone with you.

Attic room, very small. Hot and very noisy. The noise is not only from the street (right under the windows of the restaurant, which is open until night), but also the neighbors are noisy. Two tiny windows, open - noise and mosquitoes, close - you can suffocate.

Very noisy. Mosquitoes bit the child. There are no elementary things - a cup for toothbrushes, shampoo. It would be nice if there were slippers. The room is big, the tiles are dirty, all the socks are dirty :)

The Verocchio room is not the one you suggest in the photo.... It is much smaller and has a small window. For one night it's ok, but I imagine the disappointment of those who book it for several days...

It would be nice if there were more compatible outlets for travelers. The bedside was not compatible with 220v, so I had to use the outlets behind the TV and at the front door.. :(

If I were to quibble, I would add slippers for guests and even just a bottle of water in the minibar. Unfortunately there is no luggage storage, but the staff recommend 3 (we tried one and it was perfect).

There was not enough space for the necessary things, especially in the shower. The room was spacious, but the placement was not "thought out". It was inconvenient to check in at a different address, even if nearby. It was not possible to leave the suitcases for a few hours before check-in or after check-out.

A supplement of EUR 30 (cash only) if you arrive outside of the stated time, which was not clearly stated at the time of booking. Noise at night (between 01:00 and 05:00): people are talking loudly and echoing. I don't know if it's the proximity of places where you can take a walk (a few bars in the area and a theater opposite).

The lighting is seriously spoiled, especially when it was possible to illuminate the ceiling with various paintings. Also, the light in the bathroom was very dim. The alley below was getting noisy in the evening, and the walls didn't absorb much of the noise. Another disadvantage is the lack of drawers in the closet: linen and T-shirts had to be put in the drawers of the nightstand!

Cleaning the bedspread, which was very dirty, and mosquitoes: too much despite the fact that the window is always closed !!!!!!!!!!

Key collection in the city center is not ideal if you are arriving by car.

We booked with a kitchen and there was only an electric kettle. They only let you put water in the fridge

Booked room was not made (at 14:30). The beautiful room offered as an upgrade was not ready.

The only drawback of the design is the fact that the window cannot be opened according to the staff, so as not to affect the operation of the air conditioner, which is natural, if not for the fact that the windows were equipped with wooden shutters that open only inward, which makes it impossible to open them, and at the same time while keeping the glass windows closed, allowing you to enjoy the air conditioning as well as the sunlight. So the room is very dark and forces you to use the lamps even in broad daylight. Of course, this is not visible in the photos uploaded to specialized sites, which look very bright for the occasion, which in fact is not.

There are mold marks in the bathroom and some walls, this historic building is definitely hard to maintain. During this period of Covid19 restrictions, the luggage storage service is suspended on the day of departure, but this is understandable given the moment.

Cleanliness must be maintained

For those traveling by car, please note that it is necessary to book paid parking on site (30 € per day, agreed with the structure)

I didn't like that we were charged for leaving our luggage from the moment we left the room until our train left.

Weird heating system. The first night they froze, the floors were stone and icy. In the second, returning in the evening, we realized that the underfloor heating was turned on, and the heating was not really hot and stuffy. You can’t turn it off, you can’t open the windows, because bars and clubs are under the windows and it’s not realistic to sleep

No hot water in the last 12 hours. No soap after last cleaning.

The room was infested with mosquitoes (month of February)
