Ideal for discovering Tuscany. The photos are representative of the places.
The geographical location, the serenity of the place, the equipment of the exteriors even if we could not take advantage of the swimming pool and our welcoming hosts with nice little touches, as well as the nice doggie.
We all enjoyed it.

a beautiful oasis of peace
We loved it all! The apartment is delightful, the spacious kitchen / living room has a large window with a beautiful and relaxing view of the garden, a kitchen complete with everything you need. The apartment is an outbuilding detached from the main building so it guarantees total independence, and has a gazebo with table and chairs for enjoying the outdoors. The whole structure is surrounded by greenery in a very beautiful, peaceful and relaxing place. The owners were very hospitable, they made us feel at home. The property is in an excellent position for visiting the nearby towns (Monteriggioni and San Gimignano about twenty minutes away, Siena and Volterra about half an hour, and Florence less than an hour).

A place to recommend, perfect for families
Well equipped rooms ideal for families, outdoor play area for children, great swimming pool. Bed linen and towels are provided, even for the pool. Very kind and accommodating hosts

An oasis of well-being with a wonderful atmosphere in the mountains!
The accommodation and all the attributes make the stay perfect. The pool is amazing! The house also has running water and, of course, red wine. The owners are very helpful and friendly. we felt very comfortable. We were allowed to treat ourselves to a fig tree, and immediately we had two chickens as new friends.
Lack of air conditioning in the room. Unfortunately the room is also very dark. The only thing to complain about is the bed! It's really very uncomfortable and getting old. the mattress is worn out so the nights were unfortunately short and restless.

Fabulously beautiful
We had a small, cozy cottage in a beautiful and very well-groomed area. A glass of wine was presented as a warm welcome. In the large pool we could relax perfectly. Fontemaggio's location is ideal for excursions around San Gimignano, Volterra, etc., and the surrounding landscape is fantastically beautiful. Super nice hosts!

Living room in the frame
We stayed 6 nights at this farm. It is located near Colle Val d'Elsa, in a quiet area surrounded by silence. To get there, there are about 500 meters of unpaved but easily passable road. The farm is great and there are covered parking spaces but the best part is the atmosphere. A wonderful family welcomes you as a friend and makes you feel at home, Grandma, Grandpa Mario, Angelo Sandra and Luigi, thank you so much for the way you received us and made us feel. Say hello also to the dog Felice, the pepoli hens who fed us with their eggs, the roe deer cats and the turtledoves who served as a side dish to everything. The studio apartment had everything you need. Thank you so much, you deserve 1000 stars and I will recommend you to everyone ❤️

Little corner of paradise to visit Tuscany
Ideally located 20-30 minutes from Voltaire, Siena and San Gimignano. Less than 10 minutes from a big supermarket. Excellent setting and pool. If you like it, some pets (cats, cute dog) and farm animals. You may even be eligible for a bookmark of the day. Very well equipped cottage, ideal for 2 adults and 2 children. Charming and unobtrusive hosts.
The only thing we didn't like was having to leave!

A fantastic holiday of recreation and culture!
The location is fantastic (quiet yet close to the center), the pool is lovely, the host family (including the dog Felice) are very nice and the kitchen is well stocked.
Maybe the room is a bit dark and in my opinion it might be a good choice to put the breakfast option.

We had a small separate house. Really nice and well equipped. The pool and small secluded gazebo are especially nice where you can have breakfast or let the evening calm down (next to the parking lot, but almost nothing happens there).
The shower is quite small, about 70x70, not a problem for us, but I can imagine it might be cramped for some.

Everything, the tranquility is unique, immersed in the vast greenery of this old stone farmhouse, extremely courteous, friendly and helpful staff, a fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom, an outdoor gazebo, a maximum of half an hour by car from Siena. , Volterra and San Gimignano, large private pool.
Just two little things - a rather big shower cabin for those who are not small in size and are heated by "thermal transitions" from one room to another.

perhaps due to the extreme cold outside for this place, except for the bathroom, which was very hot and therefore comfortable, the rest of the house was a little chilly, but the location also compensates for this in terms of logistics

Next time we explore Tuscany, we will again choose Podere Fontemaggio as our base camp.
We really liked the apartment at Podere Fontemaggio. Starting with a cordial and family welcome, a friendly and cozy atmosphere in the apartment and support with valuable advice during the 14-day stay from our hosts Sandra, Angelo, son Luigi and Nonna Sylvanas, the stay was very good for us. ... Of particular note is the new, excellent and, above all, the large pool - very good! Despite the language barrier - we speak Italian poorly - communication in English worked very well.
I can't think of anything at all!

The nature that surrounds the farm and in which you immerse yourself. Complete relaxation. A very warm welcome. Excellent location between Siena, San Gimignano, Colle Val d'Elsa and Volterra. If we find ourselves in the area again, we will definitely return!

good accommodation with interesting value for money.
The apartment is very clean, the owners are very polite and kind. it was a wonderful experience. We had the opportunity to visit a farm in Italy (oil producers).
the dowry (towels) are very old. (need to change)

A wonderful structure, a classic farmhouse in the Tuscan countryside, one you would expect to find at the end of an impassable, dark and unmarked road. But the beauty was that we arrived late at night, but with Google Maps you arrive right in front of the gate, just follow the directions it gives you. The owner was warmly waiting for us until late and was very nice. I stopped for an hour to talk to him in the garden, sipping a glass of Chianti from his vineyards. Very positive experience, too bad, only lasted that night, but the place is wonderful and relaxing.
