EXCELLENT STRUCTURE
Structure near the pedestrian zone of Bressanone. Possibility of internal parking at a cost of €10 per day. Both the room and the bathroom are very large. You can use the wellness center (sauna and turkish bath) which is on the fifth floor, massages, if you wish, are subject to charges. The staff is very kind.

Can't wait to come back!
Great location in the center of Brixen, you can directly reach the hotel by car. Very large room, clean and comfortable. Very hearty breakfast with a large choice (even some vegan options). The Brixen card is included in the rate and includes various services, including free access to Aquarena. Inside the hotel there is also a wellness center with free access for guests on the top floor, essential but very pleasant and well maintained.

- Wellness area does not deserve the name, hardly anything works there. and renting a bathrobe actually costs €5 each... - No (!) switch for the light in the hallway, but a motion detector. That's great at night when you move too much while you sleep... the only thing that helps: cover up!

Brixen small but very fine.
The location is very central, easy to reach everything. The rooms are very big.
It's not the most important thing, but the TV is tiny. What I used to think was really great was the selection of snacks that you could put together for a cocktail. There was only one in the Krone, I thought it was awesome, there isn't any more. At breakfast you couldn't keep up with replenishing dishes and especially dishes.

EXPERIENCE TO FORGET
The only merit goes to the friendly and helpful reception and breakfast staff.
Noisy and poorly soundproofed rooms. The noises coming from the corridor due to the continuous comings and goings, from the stairwell and from the adjoining rooms were continuous. The furnishing of the rooms is 70's and more like a chalet than a 4**** hotel. The restaurant was closed and for the last two days of our stay only the pizzeria was open. The icing was the arrival of a troupe of about 40 people at 6 in the morning (perhaps they had to shoot a film or something like that)... For two days a continuous loading and unloading of material, stands, etc. amid noises and shouts, making their headquarters in the convention hall next to our room door. The second day at six in the morning I waited at the reception (in the middle of the bedlam regardless of the time) for the owner, who replied that he knew nothing about it and it wasn't his fault. I explained to her that it was certainly not our fault and in any case she should have at least changed our room. An experience to forget unfortunately

The location was great. The hotel also offers bicycles.
Rooms were partly old fashioned but okay. E-bike wheels are lent out when they are not fully charged. And parking costs extra, which is really too expensive for such a room price.

In the center of Brixen, everything can be done on foot, recommended.
Great location in the center of Brixen. Everything can be done on foot. Cathedral, Hofburg, shops, restaurants. Parking spaces available (for a fee, but I think that's ok). Huge room (we had a suite) with a living room, a nursery and a bedroom, 2 balconies overlooking the rooftops of the city. Featured.

Slightly disappointing price
The location is perfect for sightseeing in the city as well as the surrounding area.
The communication between the restaurant staff and the hotel is not working. The wait staff try very hard but they are young and inexperienced and there were language barriers. Inexperienced personnel in **** operation is not possible.

Varied breakfast buffet, but this is now indicated in all good hotels.
1. One of the hotels, which is advertised under the slogan Eat & Dring, is relaxing in a restaurant. Unfortunately I didn't see it on the website and I only had this hotel because of. booked restaurant. 2. We had to give additional notice so that the wellness center and sauna could be put into operation; unfortunately the light didn't work there. It all looked rather abandoned. 3 The room is clean but in need of refurbishment; no longer modern. 4. It's good that there was a lockable cellar for bicycles.

For us, Brixen is a beautiful city where we will stay again and again.
The location is perfect, right in front of the city center. The room was very nice, the garage was good with electronic communication. The breakfast is good a bit impersonal.

Nice 2 day stay in Brixen
Great location, right in the old town, everything (including the train station) can be easily reached on foot. Beautiful modern house. Excellent attic room with private terrace. Good rich breakfast buffet. Other benefits (wellness center, public transport card included) that I didn't use.
One evening I visited the hotel restaurant. Numerous normal priced pizzas offered on the menu were not available that evening, the rest of the selection was small and the main courses were very expensive, but the quality was ok. The service was extremely unmotivated. Tip: There are plenty of restaurants in the immediate area.

For our overnight stay (intermediate stop towards Tuscany) the hotel was good!
Hotel Krone impresses with its great location (everything is within walking distance), which also negatively affects night sleep (but it was absolutely normal, Saturday plus summer time, something is happening!). The rooms are standard, the beds fit us perfectly. The only thing missing was air conditioning. The breakfast disappointed me. I would like more choice and freshness here. The dishes that were offered were still ok. In general, we were satisfied, but next time we will try another accommodation in Brixen. Many thanks to the Krona Hotel.
There was no air conditioning and the breakfast offer could be improved.

I would like to find a toilet set in the bathroom (shower gel, shampoo, body lotion, small pieces of soap), which was not there. There were liquid soap dispensers, but perhaps a four-star hotel could have had something a little more sophisticated.

Expectations were not met

Disappointing at the spa, we also found that the parking space reserved for electric vehicles was occupied by a NON-electric vehicle when they guaranteed us they would leave it at our disposal. Arriving with a dead battery, we were forced to block the exit of an incorrectly parked car, including taking up the central lane of the underground parking, thus forcing me to remain on the alert in case I was called to move it = zero relaxation (what we were looking for). Finally, on our request for separate beds for one of the rooms booked, we apparently end up with a double bed. By mentioning this, we agree that they will be found separated after cleaning the next day. It goes without saying that the bed remained a double for the duration of our stay.

The location of the hotel was perfect. Downtown.
The room was big but the beds/mattresses were bad (back problems). The staff in the breakfast room were unfriendly although we greeted when we arrived there was no answer back. The breakfast buffet was partly empty and we had to wait until everything was available again even though there weren't many guests the first two days. Overall for the money and for a 4 star hotel we were disappointed.

After we scheduled a 5 day bike tour from Brixen and came back, we were able to park the car in the hotel's underground garage for a fee (absolutely fair price) for that time. Ideal. Thank you.

A good place. we really had a huge room with a balcony. 2 sinks and spacious bathroom.
COVID prevention has not received much attention. Guests who were not wearing masks were also not asked. There was no control in the spa area and no clear rules were posted anywhere, such as using the (small) sauna at the same time, only people from the same family were allowed. Bathrobes in the room would also be nice, as there is no dressing room in the spa area.

The hotel is very well located right on the edge of the pedestrian zone. The rooms are a little dated and the beds (and linens) especially deserve an update. Breakfast was ok - about ibis/Mercure level.
The value for money was not very good, but of course it was due to the high season.

Hui outside - inside did not live up to expectations
The breakfast was not suitable for Covid-19, a mess but the offer was huge and more than adequate.
The room was not a triple as booked, but 2 separate double rooms next to each other, there was still cold smoke in the room even though it was listed as a non-smoking room, parking spaces for guests were provided by staff and the car could be "free" on call only.

Brixen is a beautiful town with beautiful squares and romantic streets.
Breakfast and location were great, spacious rooms and bathroom were well equipped. The wooden floor in the room is especially beautiful and hygienic!
The furniture in the rooms and bathrooms is old but everything is clean and functional.

No air conditioning, there are small table fans in the rooms!! Haven't seen this in 10 years! Room on the 1st floor next to the street with a bar, very noisy until late at night!! Although they accept dogs and charge an additional fee of 10 euros per day, they do not allow the dog to enter the restaurant and for breakfast!!!

Excellent location, friendly staff. Parking is available in the garage. We didn't order breakfast so I can't comment on that. The decor of the room is a little dated or a little very basic for the price.
Value for money. I don't tend to have exaggerated expectations here. But in this case, unfortunately, I have to admit it.

Failed, unfortunately
The location of the hotel in Brixen is good, but nothing more. Completely overpriced. The beginning was already a reception with a friendly gentleman who was talking to someone on the phone all the time, so you actually did not know who he was really talking to. To be fair, the breakfast was good.
After the reception, everything was like that. Unfortunately it didn't get any better, the bathroom apparently had a cleaning cloth a week before we arrived and there were a few guests during that time. A slightly dirty crib in front of our window was nice too, luckily there are curtains. As for the price, it also depends on the details whether it is reasonable or not. It's a pity.

Calm and relaxing holiday to unwind
The breakfast buffet is very good, there is something for everyone. The location is sensational, everything can be found in close proximity, everything is within walking distance.... the train station can also be reached in about 7 minutes for a trip to Bozen or Meran. (free with Brixen card)

Weekend in June
We booked this hotel because of the very convenient location. The room was large with a balcony overlooking the vineyards and mountains (beautiful). Impeccable cleanliness. Upon arrival, we were given a Brixen Card, which provides many benefits, free travel in South Tyrol on public transport and even on some cable cars. advised.

We spent one night there on the way. Tasteful modern apartments. 5 minutes walk to the center. The owner is very nice and helpful.

A reliable, dignified home that stood out for the friendliness of the staff.
The location right outside the old town was perfect for a short stay. Breakfast was surprisingly rich and well presented by the staff.
We found accessibility difficult because the road sign effectively prohibited entry. A hint that you can drive to the hotel would be helpful. The bedside tables in the room were not favorably located because they were difficult to reach, which was a problem at night.

The location just outside the city center is excellent. The restaurant offers delicious pizza and the hotel bar invites you to linger. The room was very large. The evening could have ended on the balcony. Bicycles are available for rent in various configurations. Just great!

Great trip to a wonderful city
Best central location next to a park, best modern rooms and very quiet. Excellent breakfast with nothing missing and always very helpful staff. There are lifts. A must to eat at the hotel restaurant. It’s perfectly normal. It was delicious. We will be happy to return.

Great location, enough space
The room is very large and well furnished. A cute apple left as a welcome gift (every day). Ample parking, which is very important given the location. Friendly staff and overall cleanliness of the room. Central location. The price is all in line with other structures.
There is no air conditioning, at least in the room where I stayed. In summer it is a must for the price as it is still hot in Bressanone even at night. The bed was not the best, only one low pillow, a box spring that needs to be reviewed, and only a duvet that does not adapt to the temperature in the room in summer. There was only one tub in the bathroom with no cover, it's hard to take a standing shower without creating a lake. Breakfast without shame and without praise, coffee maker, main choice. Let's just say, nothing special, I recommend having breakfast outside.

Very good centrally located hotel
Very nice hotel in the city center, we stayed there twice on our way to Italy. During our first stay we had a room at the back of the hotel. The second time, the large room on the street side is also quiet, but with carpet. We liked the first one better. Very nicely furnished with balcony and quiet. Very pleasant staff. The restaurant is recommended, very nice atmosphere, you can also have breakfast outside. The pizza is highly recommended and the prices are quite reasonable. The breakfast was very good and rich. In general, we can only report positive things. We would like to return.

The designer bathroom is beautiful, but showering in the tub is inconvenient due to confusing fixtures (3 handles/levers without markings), a very high edge, and a cheap shower head that requires you to stand on the slippery slope of the tub.

The location of the property is excellent. You are right in the center of the city. The rooms have been updated, very clean and nothing is missing. Parking is available directly at the hotel for a fee of EUR 10 per day.
We expected more from a restaurant. It's delicious, but it's completely overpriced and just not enough for the money. Mozzarella Caprese consists of a tomato and 5 slices of mozzarella for 9 euros. Pizza for 12 euros "mini"... We ate better and cheaper "original" in Italy. The waiter either had a bad day or is grumpy by nature...! Pity... The breakfast, on the other hand, was totally ok.

Very central and very quiet location close to shops and restaurants. Everything is ready in the hotel, but you didn't feel the fly flying!!!! Close to the ski slopes... Free Brixen Card for vehicles, museums and swimming pool.

Very good city hotel with very good value for money.
Great location if you like to take short walks around the city without breaking the car. Quick espresso away from home etc and all within walking distance (2 minutes). Lots of high quality products at the breakfast buffet, finally mineral water, freshly squeezed orange/apple/carrot juice, homemade jams and cakes, eggs... Both filter coffee and espresso are good. Great view of the cathedral and mountains from the lounge on the top floor
I don't think you could get to the ski area without a car (it's best to ask the hotel owner). Sauna is small (although it was never full, so there was always enough)

gluten free items should be on display for breakfast, no need to ask staff for them after check out our luggage stayed for hours at reception exposed to anyone passing by it would take over the room used for luggage storage

All in all I would recommend it
Stayed at this hotel for the second time. And this time it did not disappoint. Convenient location for visiting Christmas markets. The staff is friendly, the room is large, clean and spacious. The rate includes free admission to some exhibitions and a public transport ticket.
The breakfast was a little disappointing this time. Below expectations.

Christmas weekend in Bressanone!
In addition to being very welcoming, the hotel gave us a Brix card, free museum passes and transport in South Tyrol. Good and typical breakfast, very large rooms with great views. We'll be back!

Relaxing weekend at Christmas markets
Check-in at almost 23.00 The room is almost 40 square meters. Sweet and savory breakfast buffet, variety of yoghurts and fruit juices. The building is located right in the restricted traffic zone, one step away from Piazza del Duomo.
Unfortunately, there are few parking spaces in the building's car park and a fee is charged to enter the restricted traffic area. You must be lucky enough to find a free one.

We were very well accommodated in this hotel.
Beautiful modern hotel right by the old town of Brixen. Very comfortable large rooms. Garage for cars. Big breakfast buffet.

The hotel is very good, great location. With pleasure again.
The room is comfortably furnished, the bathroom with a bathtub as a shower is a bit dated. The breakfast was really good and plentiful.

The value for money is ok and the staff is very friendly and hard working towards the guests.
The location at the entrance to the pedestrian zone and the old town is very good. The breakfast buffet has everything you need and the staff is very friendly. Don't forget to reserve a garage space if you need it, spaces are limited.
Wifi is not very stable and drops out all the time. The decor of the room is a few years old and not as modern and modern as the rest of the hotel. What can be seen, for example, in a hair dryer, which is simply impertinent these days.

Great location. Very nice and well maintained common areas. Very good restaurant (used for breakfast). Large and quiet rooms.
Some details for improvement, for example in the bathrooms: a dirty container of shower gel, one towel and one shower towel. But these are just details.

Breakfast: Everything that the domestic market has to offer is laid on the table, the easiest way is important. The cult that should reach us first. Everything is fresh, everything is fine. The room is surprisingly large so 2 guests can feel at home and the balcony invites you to linger with views of the Dolomites. The bathroom is clean and suitably furnished and allows for a comfortable bath. Noteworthy are the lounge and covered terrace in front of the hotel. The staff is competent and happy to answer any questions.
The parking lot is quite narrow due to the architecture, but the hotel owner manages to get an oversized delivery truck into the eye of a needle. In fact, you need to keep in mind that the hotel is located in the middle of a pedestrian street (optimal for guests) and you need to enter with caution. Parking usually requires care and discretion, according to the hotel owner, as a ticket or tow truck could be expected fairly quickly. Otherwise, there is really nothing that would be sharply negative. So it's worth visiting.
