location. Gardens. Breakfast and Coffee. The tranquility.
*In the announcement and in our reservation, a room of 40 m2 is specified and they put us in number 7, which has less than 20 m2. *The bathroom was dirty, even after we asked for it to be cleaned again, it is an indication of low standards of cleanliness for the price paid. *The serrations of their eating knives are so poorly cleaned that they dirty the butter when they are used to spread bread. *When the air conditioning compressor is activated, its vibrations are perceived from the bed. *The resort does not put hammocks or shades on the beach. * It has little lighting in some areas. *The main gate opens on some steep stairs, with risk of accidents.
1. There is internet. 2. Near the ocean. That's all. You need to start with the fact that at the entrance to the hotel there is no sign that this is MamaGoa That is, for an unprepared traveler it will be problematic to find this place. We paid money and we were greeted. OK. To get to the rooms you have to go down a very steep staircase. If you are with a suitcase, you will not be envied. None of the employees will rush to help you. By yourself, by yourself... Our flight arrived at 4 o'clock and accordingly we arrived at 5 o'clock. They had check-in from 14:00 and had no desire to hang out for 10:00. I requested permission for an early check-in, but they told me that this is only subject to availability. By all appearances, we were given to understand that the hotel is overly popular, and there may not be rooms. I did not take risks (I have a pregnant wife) and decided to buy another day for the full amount. What was my surprise when we arrived that almost all the houses were empty and from a conversation with our neighbor we found out that almost no one comes here. We were just sold another day that we didn't really need. K - customer focus at its best. There is nothing more sacred than extracting a few more dollars from a tourist…. I made the payment in cash - keep in mind that India is very "hospitable" and MIR cards do not work for them. They didn’t give any documents at the reception - they don’t have forms, and they wrote all this just on a piece of paper in a cafe, that is, it’s not even a document, but a small piece of paper that they won’t accept anywhere!
The room is generally good and even a normal repair. The house stands on the ocean and the waves are noisy around the clock. BUT! Since the hotel stands on the ocean, and it is a common beach, then everyone can go there and not too lazy. But I didn’t see any guards or anything like that at night. That is, in fact, anyone can go from the beach to the territory and then do whatever he wants. This is India, here the guys have a rich imagination ... I myself did not sleep for 1.5 nights and wandered along the coast - more on that below. THE MAIN PROBLEM is that they have a HUGE night disco at a distance of about 300 meters and the music hammers all night until 6 in the morning. This is some kind of hell. Sleep is impossible. Moreover, the music itself is not heard, but only constant BOOM-BOOM-BOOM. Low frequencies beat on the brain, and the blows enter into resonance with the beating of the heart and uncontrollable panic begins. There is nowhere to hide from them. Moreover, it feels like even the house resonates and amplifies the beats of low frequencies. They are felt not by the ears, but by the whole body. Earplugs do not help, a pillow on the head. My wife is pregnant and eating became very bad from such music and she began to feel very sick. I also felt very bad. The owners did not do anything even after our repeated complaints. I even have a video where I am standing near our house and this disco and its noise are visible in direct line of sight. I get that people want to dance but when it's before 6am EVERY DAY it's HORRIBLE!!! Therefore, if you want secluded relaxation and silence, this is definitely not the place to come. In general, we survived 1.5 nights and ran away - this is not a hotel, but a complete disappointment.
Location, location, location, bungalow right on the beach, very competent manager who arranges special requests such as dolphin watching with local fishermen with personal contacts.
The location right on the beach is great! It was very quiet and we were able to really relax. The staff has always been very friendly and courteous. The service is almost comparable to a 5 star hotel. :-) Breakfast was delicious!
The bed was too hard and the wifi was very poor.
The food is very good and the cabins are very nice. Great staff
