Great Conditions

It wasn't crowded and we practically had the whole Spa area to ourselves. + History of the place, food and surroundings.

Dinner was top notch. Breakfast is less. The structure, the two terraces are great.

Arrival: pleasant welcome, nice room. The wellness was 100% functional, nothing was closed or "out of order". You could swim a lot in the large pool, the thermal section was warm, bubbly and pleasant in a beautiful palm house. At our request, they heated the Finnish sauna, where we were undisturbed for half an hour in the desired warmth. The dinner menu was the most difficult to choose, everything looked delicious and inviting, and the prices were acceptable. And the service is excellent. In the end, the dinner was memorably tasty (Hot pot with bone marrow and toast). Walk to the small island before bed, horses, old dog, ducks, heron, sunset. The room had a hundred-channel TV, a great, clean and fragrant bathroom, and great, clean and fragrant beds. The breakfast did not disappoint anyone either, fresh scrambled eggs, toast, and divine coffee awaited us.

The breakfast was very varied, everyone found something to their liking. The small wellness section is very nice and pleasant, the medicinal water is of excellent quality.

A pastoral place with a lake, a horse farm, an ancient look. Suitable for those who have a car and the purpose of the trip is landscapes and sites outside the city. About 25 minutes from the city by car.

The thermal section is wonderful with a huge pool and palm trees, three different saunas. Free pool table, huge estate. Restaurant and bar on site. The breakfast was delicious. A bathrobe provided in the room.

I really liked the location and the attitude of the staff. They are kind and helpful. I liked the furniture of the hostel and its atmosphere, the many wooden coverings and the antiques.

The spa was great. Our room was large and the beds were huge and very comfortable. We also liked the quiet location of the hotel.

The wellness area is pleasant and enjoyable. The cold water balloon placed in several places is very good. The interior of the hotel is almost museum-like and provides a lot of information. The medicinal water had a very good effect on our skin. The two weekly water changes in the pools are commendable. If we don't come here, we won't get to know a great pizzeria in Monori.

The only plus was the pool and thermal water... the price was overestimated considering that the room was very small, without air conditioning, the fan was ineffective, a small window, the bathroom was small... it did not correspond to the amount we paid, we expected more, Old furniture , and overall everything had a neglected impression, the dinner was good but for 15 euros per person - excessive, the breakfast was poor, no vegetables, cold sausages and they didn't add anything at all... We had to pay separately for drinks - soft drinks and coffee after dinner. Well, except for the pool...I don't recommend...a big disappointment on our part.

Pool and wellness are acceptable, the staff is very overworked, if you're lucky you'll find them in a constructive and helpful mood, at the end of the day don't expect to be told anything if you ask for something, but this could really be due to overwork. The restaurant's a la carte offer and quality are excellent, although unfortunately the service is very slow but kind.

The environment is beautiful, clean, quiet, peaceful. We had half-board, which was varied and very tasty. The staff was very kind and helpful.

Polite staff

A strange impression - I liked a lot, but there were some unpleasant moments. The hotel was chosen only because of the terms. When we checked in, we were told that only Hungarian citizens can use the thermal baths. We explained that we have all the certificates - both about vaccinations, and a fresh test, and about the fact that we had been ill with covid ... The employee at the reception was relentless. My husband asked her to consult with the owner, while I was looking for another hotel option. Fortunately, the owner agreed to make an exception for us. Without the use of the term, this hotel has no advantages. Stayed 3 days with breakfast and dinner. Very complicated restaurant schedule for dinner, different presentation on different days. On the first day, they just brought us a large bowl of soup and a huge plate of meat, cheese, potatoes, rice. On the second day, they were given a choice from the menu from several options for soups and the second. The portions are very large! On the third day there was a buffet and that was the best - there was even a dessert. Breakfast is acceptable (hot scrambled eggs and sausage) but terrible coffee and terrible chemical drinks instead of juice. The room is spacious, there are bathrobes in the room. There are no separate spa towels. The room is VERY hot. We were given a fan, but it didn't help. The mattress on the bed is too soft, my back hurts in the morning. The window is covered with a mosquito net, which is very useful. When we checked in, we found three bags of shampoo and shower gel in the bathroom, but on the following days they did not replenish the supply during cleaning. Loved the thermal and swimming pools. In the heat, +35 is the only thing that saved. The thermal water temperature is very comfortable. In three days, we noticed that minor skin problems had been cured.

The service and staff were excellent :) The hotel's equipment was optically in perfect order. The dogs are also very friendly.

Staff tried to help in everything.

Nice environment. Large parking lot. Comfortable bed. Cozy wellness department. Although I only used it alone, the lady at the reception immediately offered to heat the sauna for me. The kitchen is good. The common spaces are brightened up by the numerous old furniture, tools and ornaments. The selection at breakfast was quite plentiful, despite the fact that there were only three guests in the hotel vs. because of COVID.

It was cool, that's enough! I missed the labeling on the drink "containers" as to what it contains because it was not clear. e.g. milk, hot water, apple juice, etc.

the hotel was a picture. no air conditioning, no better breakfast but everything was right. don't expect over the top luxury but a good hotel for a good price with a nice garden and nice pool (to you)

We came away with mixed feelings. I would start by saying that I would give 5 stars in terms of hospitality: the place is nice, the restaurant is good, the servers and receptionists are nice, the environment is ideal for families, but unfortunately I still rate it as average due to the complete lack of air conditioning... Which I think is still acceptable 10-15 years ago was, in the era of climate change and 35-40 degree summers and African heat waves, it is no longer the case. The rooms only have one small window and it's about the same degree inside as it is outside. Unfortunately, the room does not cool down at night either. It was the owner's decision to leave the thatched roof and not install an air conditioner due to the risk of fire (?). It was a bad decision, I don't think anyone is comforted/interested in having a thatched roof when they are rolling in their own sweat and gasping for air at 2am. It's the same at the riding school, it could be left as a curiosity, the hotel could be changed, the horses can stand the heat better... :) Alternatively, this may also be due to the proximity of the horses, but there are millions of flies everywhere. It's moderately annoying, say, while sitting on a terrace, but at breakfast/dinner you have to fight with them for food. The wellness part goes away, we didn't sleep on our backs, but it's not bad either. Actually, this whole hotel/restaurant is now at such a stage that 10-20 million forints should be invested in the renovation, because it is not bad yet, but in a few years it will be called rundown. The pool, coverings, air conditioning should be modernized a little, and renovated :), and maybe the place could be run even better. Regardless, anyone who likes heat and high humidity will feel good here, that's all we had trouble with, everything else was fine.
