We had one of five wonderful apartments with a small balcony overlooking the sea. Everything is very nicely furnished in pleasant colors. Nothing was missing in the kitchen. The outdoor area is incomparably beautiful. The pool is really big and there is a kids pool as well as a playhouse or swing. But most of all, the hospitality of Nectarios and his wife Kelly stood out. At the very beginning we were greeted with the best dacos of our trip and a bottle of wine. After a very pleasant conversation, in which Nectarios asked about our wishes for the holiday, we received various proposals to make our days here in the wild east more varied. And one was better than the other, whether it was beach choice, restaurant tips, or hiking suggestions. We were always spoiled with yoghurt with fresh fruit, frappe or coffee. We have never had such attentive hosts!

A lovely, well-kept and beautiful place, around the garden and pool. Excellent distance from the city and close enough to jump to it. close to the beach This is the least touristic and authentic area of ​​Crete. Knowing that we had come a long and difficult journey, we were immediately set a table under a cozy shady tree and served delicious local snacks and wine upon arrival. The children were very happy with the chocolate with ice. The carefully and beautifully landscaped area immediately sets you up for a relaxing holiday. You can swim or just take a refreshing dip in the nice pool. Children will always feel safe. The rooms are equipped with everything you need: kitchen, dishes, air conditioners. We arrived for one night in transit before taking the boat back to Rhodes. As soon as we arrived, Nectarios showed us around the estate. With a drink in hand, he introduced us to other travelers. We had a great time at Oceanides luxury apartments. The unsurpassed hospitality of Nectarios. We felt completely comfortable and the host read our every desire from our eyes without being intrusive. After a warm welcome, we got a glass of wine and something to eat (Dako). Without exception, all the tour tips (hiking) and tavern recommendations were great. Amazing! This was the first accommodation that I can truly say was worth every lei spent or maybe it was too cheap for what we were offered. The apartments are spacious and very clean, air conditioned in each room and equipped with a refrigerator, stove, plates, cutlery, etc. Our host, Nektarios, is the first person who during a vacation made me feel like I was in a family atmosphere, of peace and rest. He took care to show us all the beautiful places in Crete that were worth visiting, he served us daily with cold snacks or an iced coffee even if he was not obliged to do so, he pointed us to the best restaurants and cafes in area and every time we had a problem he was there to help us. I have come to consider Nektarios a good friend and without a doubt we will visit him again on our next vacation in Crete. The area where Oceanides is located is a 3-minute drive from Sitia, a city where you can find very pleasant restaurants, superb cafes and beaches with crystal clear water. 20 minutes away is Vai Beach, a special beach, full of palm trees, quiet, and again the sea water was so clean that we could see its bottom over 10 meters deep. Many other attractions such as the clay beach are nearby if you have a car available and are worth visiting. The score for Oceanides is 20/10 without exaggerating.

One of the best places I have ever stayed in Crete. The villa itself is small, but well thought out, there is everything you need. The garden is well maintained, the territory is cleaned several times a day. The pool is large enough, with real sea water. There are plenty of sunbeds around the pool. There are several small houses on the territory, with a veranda (you can dine on it), there is a dryer. We had a two bedroom apartment. The rooms are small, but everything is new, clean, you can clearly feel the hand of the designer. Rooms are cleaned and towels are changed every day. Particular attention should be paid to the hospitable host - Niktarios. Individual approach in the full sense of the word. We rested with the child, upon arrival he presented the child with a coloring book and a box of pencils, which got him in favor until the end of the holiday. Greek snacks and pleasant conversation were waiting for us. In addition, Niktarios helped plan trips to nearby attractions. I especially liked the wine from the local monastery of Tupli. Seeing that we had finished drinking the wine bought on his advice, Niktarios presented us with a bottle from his stocks. Every morning beautifully served glasses of Greek yogurt and fruits, cold coffee were waiting for us. Summing up, I want to note that for its level and money, this is perhaps one of the best places.

The city beach of Sitia is a three-minute drive away, but Nektarios advised much better places and we went there.
