Perfect for a week's vacation.
Proximity to the beach, free sunbeds on the beach as well. Staff helpfulness. Delicious and plentiful food.
The food is delicious, but a bit monotonous. At breakfast, the glasses and cups could be bigger.

Uncomfortable stay-central and erratic management in everything
Big pool and in front of nice beaches
Although some renovation has been done in the rooms, the hotel is very old and it shows. The room had no beauty products, except for two packages of shower gel and hand soap. The air conditioning is managed by the reception and every time we wanted to change the temperature we had to call the reception and ask for it. The evening meal was very basic and tasteless, while the breakfast had variety. When we wanted to get a small sandwich with gouda for our little one from the breakfast buffet, to eat it in the pool, they charged us 5 euros, unjustified in my opinion since we had paid 120 euros a day for our stay.

Very pleasant stay!
It's a clean hotel with a good location and everything you need. The proof is the fact that I was there for the sixth time and I hope to come back. It's our soul hotel!

A pure ten.
We liked everything. A wonderful hotel with natural shade and direct access to the beach. The staff is wonderful, helpful, smiling and hardworking. The food is excellent and varied. Pure ten. I'm definitely coming back again. I recommend this hotel to my friends.

It was good, but could be better...
Breakfast for this category of 3 *** hotel is simple, nothing more.
On a half board basis, we will have to pay for the dinner of a special evening organized by the hotel for hotel guests!!! The hotel is too expensive for the price of the services it offers. Also, the man serving the drinks for dinner, we haven't finished dinner yet, comes over to charge for the drinks, interrupting our dinner.

Idyllic!!!
Perfect breakfast buffet, incredible location, 50 meters from sandy beach.
Lunch and dinner with more and more delicious options. Also, water had to be provided, free of charge, just like at breakfast.

A wonderful hotel on the wonderful Aegean Sea.
beautiful place, private equipped beach with sun loungers and umbrellas. beach bar. The Aegean sea !!! swimming pool with children's section. for lovers - sun loungers under the trees and on the grass. large private car park. The staff is beyond praise. Special greetings to Tatyana - our guide for Russian-speaking tourists. The chef also deserves special praise - the dishes are varied, tasty, a large selection. The excellent quality of food once again confirms the large number of children in the hotel, who happily swallowed all sorts of goodies, and they are the best tasters (you can’t fool a child, and he won’t cheat in his childish directness). room equipment - everything corresponds to the photo on the site. The city center is about 15 minutes on foot (for some, this may be a minus, but we believe that the promenade is useful and necessary). No city bustle and noise. We are very pleased with the rest, and we will remember with warmth the hotel and the town in which we had a wonderful vacation.

Great family vacation
Family-friendly hotel with a nice, tidy garden and swimming pool. Sun umbrellas and deck chairs are available free of charge around the pool. It has its own beach area where sunbeds are free. The air conditioning worked very well in the room, they cleaned and changed the towels daily. Large refrigerator in the room, which cooled drinks very well in the heat. The breakfast is plentiful both hot and cold. Dinner is also plentiful, combined with local flavors and constantly replenished. The wifi worked well in the common area, the wired (laptop) in the room works well. Free large parking lot for cars. Due to the location of the hotel, the sights can be reached with a short car ride: Platamonas Castle, Dion. Olympus, etc.

The most relaxing holidays with small children! Parents will understand me completely!
A peaceful location in the trees and next to the sea! Absolute safety for small children and a rich and delicious breakfast! Delicious food, the little ones went crazy with all the meals! We did many dives in the crystal clear pool and cool sea!

We felt very good during this vacation.
Excellent! The room, the hotel, the pool very clean. Good food (breakfast and dinner), also suitable for small children. Every evening there was soup. Meat cooked in the oven/grill - chicken, pork, fish; vegetables (carrots, broccoli, potatoes...). Cold buffet also available. For 3 * enough variety and very good quality. The green area by the pool is shaded, only good for relaxing. The hotel is on a beautiful beach, with sunbeds included. Pizza, pasta, grill can be served for lunch on the hotel's terrace.
There are no taverns near the hotel, you have to walk 500-1000 m for other meal options.

the hotel is old, musty furniture, musty curtains, uncomfortable beds, very hard and ancient. No mosquito repellant on the balcony door. Greenery and mold in the bathroom, veneers are dissolving. The rooms are very old fashioned. The breakfast is not very good, dirty tablecloths... guests from Eastern Europe. Not worthy of 3 stars. Here the style of the 70s, mass tourism. You don't think you are in GREECE. The city has no charm either.

An oasis of peace and relaxation!
Very good breakfast. The facility to serve a buffet-style evening meal at an interesting price! Excellently positioned hotel. Lots of greenery. Quiet area (only the birds can be heard). Huge parking lot.
Ants and spiders (that bit me) in the room and on the balcony. Although I notified the cleaning staff, they were only surprised. They did not come up with any solution (at least I did not feel anything). room, but only in visible areas. Never under beds or in other hard-to-reach places.

Enough for a few days
Close to the beach and beach bar.
The beds are hard, the rooms are very small, the bathroom sometimes stinks of urine even after cleaning. Terrible staff, waiting time for someone to come about an hour. Breakfast is disastrous. The food at the beach bar is terrible. Be careful not to order cocktails, they are inedible and the prices are often different on the beach. The room is always cleaned very late. There is no internet in the room. Sea view is only available in one room. There is almost no playground, only a slide.

The breakfast buffet was varied, a little different every day. The location is beautiful. We originally wanted to stay only for a week, but in the end we extended it to 14 days.
Sometimes the bathroom smells a bit like garbage.

A good place for a quiet holiday
Large, free and guarded parking. Receptionist Evi, a kind and nice person who showed great professionalism in meeting all requirements. Air-conditioned room with medium fridge (no minibar) large balcony with chairs and table. Kosta, the team coordinator who provided the sunbeds on the beach, attentive and prompt in satisfying the customers (I had a problem in the sea, in the open, I touched a blue jellyfish. I asked him for advice if I was in danger and he reassured me by saying (-me that I will only feel a burning sensation and to calm down he brought me an ointment, Fenistil). The way the location of the hotel was thought out. From the restaurant you go out onto the terrace next to the pool and further along another terrace (where you can eat and serve various drinks) you reach the beach. The possibility of making small trips. Relatively close to Meteora, Tembi valley, Mount Olympus. Don't miss a visit to Palaios Pantelimonas a traditional mountain village 15 minutes drive away where you will see a superb panorama and where you can serve food cooked in traditional style. I recommend the tavern Καθ' Οδόν.
Shower cubicle too small. The cabin doors do not follow the contour of the shower and for this reason the floor of the bathroom is slippery (it is true that they provide a towel for exiting the shower but there is some discomfort created by the water that is on the floor). Breakfast could be improved in the sense of increasing the quality and diversity of products (especially in the area of cheeses, meat products and fresh vegetables and fruits).

Sun Beach Platamon Resort - Superb
Receptionist Evi very kind English speaking, we communicated very well. The hotel has a guarded parking lot at no extra charge. Room enough for a family with one child, we only booked for two adults, they didn't charge us extra for the child, Very good shower pressure. We had buffet breakfast - very varied daily, fresh products. With 10 euros/day/extra person we could also have dinner. Daily cleaning in the room, changed towels, sheets, took out the trash, clean the bathroom, the floor and the counter, etc. The hotel has free sunbeds both at the pool and on the green space. At those on the hotel's private beach, you have to pay 3.5 euros/lounger. The hotel has its own restaurant with diversified food, decent prices, however they take the last order around 8.30pm. On certain days they have live music or Greek night. I went to the rock 'n roll night, very talented members of the band Drive-in Losers. About 5-6 km away is the Platamon castle, from where there is a wonderful view of the beaches. Located on a hill, the entrance is 2 euros, you can reach it quickly by car, there is also a parking space. The hotel has a playground for children, and there is also a volleyball net on the sand. There are showers at the pool and at the beach entrance. We also met Romanians staying at the hotel... the hotel is mostly frequented by Serbs and Russians. The waiters at the hotel and on the beach are very helpful and nice (there was also an abbot from Suceava, Edi). There is also a representative of a travel agency at the hotel from whom excursions can be purchased. We had a wonderful stay, not what we expected for an unknown resort. Very clean beach as well as clean and clear sea water with a special color. I paid 735 euros for 6 nights, 7 days with breakfast included, starting from 20.07.2019.
Room 228, second floor: Water flows past the shower doors (risk of slipping on tiles). The pillows are a bit hard, the mattress OK. The distance of 1.5 km to shops and taverns (you can eat well at Haris, spelled "Xapus", which has two Romanian employees), but the hotel has a very good restaurant. !!!Be sure to take bug/mosquito repellent!!! for outside, in the room I had no problems. Tourists occupy their sunbeds on the beach by putting towels (it doesn't belong to the hotel), on the first day, arriving after 13.00, I didn't find a sunbed on the beach, but I stayed at the pool. However, in the morning, from 09.30, there are enough free sunbeds on the beach.

Good hotel
Although the hotel is three stars, it is beautiful. Clean and comfortable. Rooms are cleaned daily. The breakfast buffet is very varied. There are many sun loungers around the pool. Own beach.
