It was nice to stay
I thought it was a great place! Everything is nearby! I didn't take advantage of this breakfast because I don't eat breakfast that early.
The large shower head was quite rusty, making it look dirty. It was also good in terms of hygiene

The room we were rented on the ground floor was dilapidated. The furniture is clean, but from a different time... with a simple finish or even no finish. The shower faucets and sink are supposed to be from the 1970s. The tiles and shower drain are in poor condition. A small open terrace overlooking the wasteland does not have a screen with the neighboring room, you are in direct line of sight with your neighbors. The lighting from the bedroom ceiling light is never regular (voltage drop?...). It's embarrassing to rent a room in this condition.

Very nice, clean, friendly staff.
The hotel offered more than expected, we even had a small kitchenette with all amenities and a small terrace in the room. The hotel was clean and less than 5 minutes walk from the beach.

RECOMMENDED
The structure is very welcoming, in general everything is good, the girls at the reception are nice, kind and helpful, and the hotel has a great location, very close to one of the most beautiful beaches of Santorini.
The cleanliness of the rooms could be improved: sheets the right size for the bed, attention to the daily replenishment of shampoo and shower gel, perhaps new and not started, and a slightly more stocked sweet breakfast (there was plenty for an international savory breakfast, but little for a sweet Italian) .

Good location without much comfort
The staff were very nice. They changed my room when I asked for it (the 1st one had ants and was overlooking a building site). The large swimming pool with a small bar is the strong point of the establishment, as well as its location very close to the beach with all its restaurants, bars and shops.
The shower was terrible, the wobbly curtain leaked all the water and the faucet needed to be changed. In addition, the water in the tap was salty, and in other hotels a priori this does not happen. The cleanliness was not exceptional. The bed was not very comfortable. The rooms are very poorly insulated.

Excellent quality price
Pretty clean facility, linen changed every day. Very welcoming staff, relaxing music in the pool and a structure 2 steps from Perissa promenade where there are many private beaches with restaurants, markets, pancakes etc. . As well as free beaches.
The water coming out of the taps looked a bit salty, like sea water, but not quite.

Very rustic hotel, no equipment in the studio, useless kitchen. Uncomfortable bedding! Not even a mattress for a crib. Tiny balcony and view of ruined buildings! The water is non-potable and very salty, worse than a cup in the sea with every shower! Overpriced compared to the service and establishment. Removed rooms and zero services! Nothing good! Go your way!

I recommend
The property is located about 200 m walk from the beach. Rooms ok, bathroom definitely needs improvement. The swimming pool is a revelation. Our children jumped in the water at 8.30 and left at 19.00. By the pool there is a bar run by Nikolas and his daughter Nadie. Nikolas very friendly, talked to every guest, prepared pasta for our children each time asking what they liked - he took care of everyone like family. The beach is very nice, rocky but there are no others there. Nearby bars, taverns and restaurants, mini markets. Delicious breakfasts to eat on the beautiful terrace. Quiet and peaceful at night.
The bathroom needed refurbishing for sure, but I don't know how it was in other rooms.

Clean but bathroom and breakfast to forget
The friendliness of the lady at the front desk is very helpful. Great place to visit Perissa.
The bathroom was leaking on all sides; almost non-existent breakfast and always the same things all week long. For two days we also had ants in the room (as shown in the photo). I didn't take any other photos, but if you happen to be in room 18 ask to change it. It's a shame because the staff are fantastic and if the building were refurbished it would be one of the best in the area for its location and size.

I will never go there again
The staff is very welcoming and available. Proximity to the beach
archaic equipment. The bed is very bad. Dirty rooms, my kids complained that they put on their shoes to go to the toilet in their room because there was water on the floor when they arrived. Rusty plumbing. The equipment is generally of very poor quality. I paid the same price as the Sheraton Hotel in Hiroshima for the worst hotel I had during my world travels. I know not all rooms are of equal quality because we gave curious glances as we passed in front of other rooms, but our two rooms were particularly unworthy of a hotel in my opinion. Paying thousands of euros for a room for 4 nights, with such archaic and very poor quality facilities, one can only be disappointed. I have never made such a long and negative comment, but it reflects my frustration.

Perfect getaway to go to the beach
The attention was very good and the pool is huge considering they are usually quite small in Santorini. There are many restaurants in this area. And the beach is 5 minutes walk.

Really great hotel
To start with, this is a very well located hotel within walking distance of the beach. This is a good hotel with great staff. Special mention to the bartender at the pool bar who was very friendly. The pool is also very good. The only "downside" is the breakfast which is small but still good. If I came back I wouldn't have breakfast because it's not necessary. If I had the opportunity to return to Perissa, I would return to this hotel without thinking about it. 10/10!

Traveling family with 4 children. Good location very close to Perissa beach. Very nice swimming pool.
A family run hotel whose upkeep leaves a lot to be desired: outdated finishes and furniture, trash bags lying around in the hallway, it feels a bit abandoned... Salt water flowing from the taps is very unpleasant, especially for brushing your teeth. I would like a little more human warmth and smiles... Lots of noise (very very loud music) at night due to the music coming from the restaurants on the beach...

Hotel by the sea
The hotel is very close to the sea of Perissa with the most beautiful beaches on the island. It has a swimming pool and the cleanliness is good: towels are changed every day and the room is cleaned. Choose a studio!
Perissa is a little far from Fira and Oia, the busiest cities in Santorini. In addition, the furniture is a bit old, especially the bathroom furniture leaves a lot to be desired.

The perfect place
The perfect place to relax in Santorini. The best possible location. Very close to the beach, shop, great tavernas and bus stop. In addition, extremely friendly and attentive staff. Especially Mrs. Eva from the reception who printed our boarding passes and also spent a lot of time looking for quads to rent <3 We were also able to arrange inexpensive transfers from and to the airport without any problems. Rooms spacious and comfortable, cleaned every day very thoroughly. Great, intimate swimming pool with clean water. The pool bar is inexpensive and the lady who runs it is very nice. A perfect place to chill out with calm and not too loud music. Value for money really very good. I definitely recommend this place and I will definitely use it again if I come back to Santorini

Wonderful
Quiet very very clean and well maintained Small and warm Good team Girls at the top reception Simple, quiet and very clean pool Easy access to all places on the island with a cheap bus. Lots of restaurants 500 m from the magnificent beach. The area is very safe. Great location, we will be back and it is very difficult for us to leave this place and the island.

Lack of personal space
The reception staff are friendly and helpful.
However, there is no minimum privacy: for 3 days the cleaning lady opened the door without knocking while we were in the room. One day, despite being told to stay away, she did stop by to change her trash bag (which was empty, so there was no need for it).

Good hotel to relax and discover the island
Very kind and helpful staff. Unbeatable value for money. Close to the beach and restaurants. The pools are very nice. Bar prices are very affordable and allow you to enjoy without asking too many questions.
The decoration of the rooms is a little light, but it does not interfere. View from our room to the parking lot.

Holiday trip with the family
The property is located very close to the beach. Ladies at the reception very nice and helpful. Room cleaned daily. The reception is open 24/7 so there is no problem with night flights to the island.
The pool sometimes got dirty blue because it is painted with paint. The furniture needs replacing. Apart from that, everything's fine.

Generally, room 41 is probably still before modernization and did not impress with its quality. Old decaying furniture (one drawer was lying on the floor in the wardrobe), and the bed was already slowly falling apart. The rest of the rooms looked much better from the outside, e.g. the front door was replaced ...

It's right to stay for a few nights
The area is quiet, close to the beach and the pool is ok. The receptionist in the morning is very friendly and determined

It was worth the money.
The location of the hotel was very convenient and beautiful. It was close to the sea, bus stops and shops. We also loved the pool area.
We were not happy with the cleanliness of the room. Also, the room was quite old with a broken faucet.

Quality and price
The Gardenia Hotel is very well located, with a beautiful swimming pool. The staff is caring. Sheets are changed regularly, towels are changed daily. This is excellent value for money.
We rented a studio, the kitchen part of which is not sufficiently allocated. Lack of equipment.

Location, staff, breakfast was ok, there were also pancakes and you could have breakfast outside, you could also use the pool until 3pm when you check in, and also when you check out, you could stay in the hotel, swim, and use the toilet Shower at the front desk and you also got a towel. Nearby is a small supermarket open until 12 midnight. There were beach clubs on the beach with free sun loungers and the best free pools just for information.
Cleanliness, towels stained, all rusty, shower very badly rusted, shower water pressure was so poor that shampoo and sea salt was almost impossible to pour out, bathroom was very small and smelled of sewage, there was a small window right next to the shower, through which was clearly visible, the rooms were very small, no closet, there was only space for a small suitcase, the room was definitely not comfortable, the cutlery was also stained and very old, the air conditioner was very noisy, the room had very poor soundproofing, during the day you could hear the construction work next door, the bed was so small that my friend couldn't even fit, the bed was also very uncomfortable, the service was nothing special, the suitcases had to be carried up the stairs, it was impossible to bring food to the room or put it in the fridge were immediately attacked by ants, the key keeper was standing right at the door so that the key could be locked. Sel had to pull it out (so the electricity was turned off), to close the door if you swam in the pool you came out with bruises because the pool was painted blue the car park was very very small maximum three cars can be parked luckily we had a quad bike the shuttle to the airport was a bit more than 15 euros per person

Best location, good value for money!
The staff tries very hard to fulfill all your questions and requests. The hotel is only 300 m from the beach and good food shops to choose from. There are good inexpensive restaurants on the beach :) Very suitable for kids! My son (6) and I felt very comfortable, we would love to come back!
The pool bar was closed due to lack of staff. It was not a problem for us personally!

Our rooms were a bit poor but ok for a 3 star. Moreover, the service made up for it.
The service was 1A. At one in the morning we received batteries for the remote control from the air conditioner. So the service and availability of the staff did a few good things.

Quiet, effective air conditioning. Purely. A well located hotel. Close to the stop. Bus to Thira 30 min and you can change further. Buses very comfortable and run until 11pm. Near to the beach. Large, well-kept swimming pool. Good service and friendly owners. Great bakery (patisserie) nearby
It would be good if there was a jug for boiling water in the room.

A piece of heaven on earth... An impeccable welcome from Dimitrin and very clear information upon arrival. According to our first WhatsApp communication prior to my arrival at the hotel, thanks to Diminitra's help, she arranged my roundtrip transfer. Hotel Gardenia is the perfect place to feel like you're somewhere else and at the same time at home. The cleanliness and comfort of the rooms are impeccable (my room was cleaned every day without my request) Small kitchen layout with all the necessary cutlery and useful items, as well as a fridge. A very quiet and above all spacious hotel with a library. Magnificent swimming pool.

Relax in a quiet yet close to the beach location with an exceptionally large pool
Very large pool, a few meters from the beach, newly renovated room, very clean, quiet location, bus stop about 100 meters.
Actually nothing, due to the Corona not all services were available, but this is not the responsibility of the hotel.

Excellent !
The room very clean and comfortable fully renovated! They cleaned it for us every day and were available for anything we needed. The pool is huge and very clean! Very good value for money. I highly recommend it and for sure when we come to Santorini again we will stay there again!
