Beautiful days in Samos
The place is unique, fantastic view of the long coastline of Votsalakia and Kerkis! The hosts are friendly and try hard, you get enough towels and it's clean. I especially liked the fact that the owners are very friendly to animals, there was a dog and 5 well-fed cats, the cats of which were sterilized. During our stay, of course, we also helped the owners by buying food.
You had a nice big apartment/maisonette (easily maybe 4 people), but you have to be prepared for the fact that if the roommate in the upper bedroom has to get up at night, the one in the bedroom downstairs is definitely not sleeping. Very noisy due to the uninsulated wooden floor (which is very nice to look at from above and below!) and a very creaky, narrow, narrow wooden staircase. There are enough parking spaces, but the entrance to the house must be lit because of the risk of falling!

Enjoyed the great view and spacious garden
The view is beautiful and the garden where you can sit in the shade or in the sun. enough space.
As always in Greece, the kitchen equipment is mediocre and the bathroom is bad. BVs such as the shower curtain being too short for the bathroom to be completely flooded after the shower. The shower head hook is loose and on the last day the hose broke. All this can be done with a small investment.

Beautiful but expandable
The location is perfect. The pool is good. We were the only guests for a week. The apartment was cleaned twice a week and towels and bed linen were changed, we did not expect this at all.
The lighting at the pool and on the terrace did not work. The kitchen is very sparsely equipped. The pool bar was not nicely prepared.

A paradise for connoisseurs of authentic Hellas
It was a paradise for someone like me, tired of people and noise, an island of authentic Hellas, thank you. there were problems with the Internet, but thanks to Aslanis Nikolas, who tried with all the means available to him to help me work a little and write back to my relatives. Thank you for his courage, with which he fought every day with insects and leaves, cleaning the pool, and for his sensitivity and compassion for a little lost me)) I was perfectly able to disconnect from the horror and fatigue of the last 2 months of forced evacuation from my native Ukraine. Castro, you wonderfully healed me a little so that I had the strength to continue working))
unfortunately, Eol's colleagues ;) prevented me from getting the Wi-Fi I needed, because they broke all the devices of the provider who was responsible for the Internet, but that's it))

Passable
The view from the terrace is amazing. There is a wonderful sea view.
Some things weren't quite right! The path to the object was very bad, as it is very difficult to get up in a normal car. It would be better with an SUV. With so many cats walking around, there was a strong smell of cat feces everywhere. The interior was still quite acceptable for normal use and for those who can do a lot without luxury.

The pool was not used, although it was promised at the presentation of the site. The road to the house is in poor condition. The rumble of the neighbors' dogs at night. Kitchen equipment is in short supply. The air conditioner did not work, although at this time (end of October) it was not needed ..

The view from the windows is good, but otherwise rather modest.
The owner greeted us warmly, he showed us the apartment. After complaints about non-working and boiling kitchen appliances, new appliances were purchased. After a power outage following a thunderstorm, homeowners provided everyone with hot water or coffee, even after the gastrointestinal virus was brought in by a housekeeper.
The equipment and appearance of the apartment do not correspond to the advertisement and photographs on the website. On the day of arrival, the whole house smelled of mold, there were no insect repellents on the windows in this apartment. Some of the kitchen utensils and utensils are in poor condition and cannot be used. Bathroom, tiny shower, mirrored wardrobe in disrepair, a trip to the house can be compared to a safari tour.

Definitely will not book this accommodation again and would not recommend it to anyone.
The hostess was nice. The beds were made every second day and fresh towels were put on the bed.
Already the access road left much to be desired. The oven and refrigerator are in a very neglected state, there are no dishes (1 frying pan). The stairs from the neighboring apartment are very noisy. There are many small animals in all rooms (beetles, lizards, spiders, worms). -like creatures, especially afterwards, fiddled around. Rain in large numbers on the floor and walls. The pool was cheeky. Absolutely filthy, the animals also felt at home here. Unfortunately, the rating does not correspond to local conditions.

Not recommended for families with children.
Wi-Fi is not available at the hotel. The outdoor pool needs renovation. The entrance to the house is a dirt gravel road. The last part of the way to the house is a very steep ramp, which is extremely difficult to drive two turns.

The view is really priceless !! The apartment is very large. The beds are ok! Everything is easily accessible on foot. 10-15 minutes to taverns and beach. The drive home is a bit of a hassle as it is quite steep.
The road home is really hard. There is no road, except for a path from the ground :) also there is no gravel. With 1 or more gasoline, you can climb to the top with small rental cars. What was really annoying was that everything in the bathroom was floating, whether you washed your hands or took a shower. But there was a mop in the apartment, so that could be solved too. The hosts didn't talk to us much. But they were by no means unfriendly, so if you ask, you will get an answer. In general, the price-quality ratio is absolutely in the green zone!

Overall, we were satisfied and spent a 14-day holiday in silence.
The location of the complex is really very good. Your sun terrace offers beautiful views of the sea and the entire bay. You can also enjoy the view while swimming in the beautiful pool. If something is missing or you have questions, Babiš and his wife are always ready to help. We were mostly satisfied, and if you want a relaxing holiday away from tourism, you are in good hands. The value for money is excellent and you can enjoy your vacation here (even with your family) as the apartment is quite spacious.
You need to get used to the steep entrance to the apartment, but the second and third times are easier. The equipment of the apartment is a bit poor and, especially in the kitchen area, could be improved. But the essentials are there. If anything is missing, the amiable owners can be contacted at any time. The system itself is a little outdated and can be slightly modernized here and there. The beds seemed too hard to us, but this is a matter of taste.

If you can come to terms with the fact that not everything is "picobello" and is modern, and the decor is quite simple, but you appreciate two bedrooms and a lot of space, if you like the pool and wide sea views - then you are in the right place here, in a private "Castle", away from the hustle and bustle. On top of that, there is the kindness of the family who enchanted us with their desire to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. If we went back to Samos, we would want to stay in Castro again!
A roof terrace will need sun protection. The umbrella, which the owner bought at our request, did not justify itself, because it could not be opened due to the heavy meltemis.

The best place for us in Samos
We were very comfortable. This is a beautifully located complex with very good owners. You feel right at home. We will definitely be back. Big greetings to Babi and Emely from Dagmar Hans and David.
