Nice apartment in a beautiful location.
First of all, fantastic location. Great view and close to the beach. A well-stocked shop nearby. The apartment is very nice and clean. Plenty of car parking spaces nearby.
The kitchen could be equipped with a good knife for chopping and an undamaged board and some wine glasses.

Luxury location, Topshot in Kalamaki
Fantastic location. You can watch the sunset over the water from the terrace, dining table and even just from the bed. A simple but delicious buffet breakfast is served at a partner hotel just around the corner for EUR 10 per person per night (cash). Parking spaces are available directly on the territory on the streets. A family business - a warm personal welcome to Anna and her daughters.
Unfortunately, the rooms quickly fill up with sand as there is no mud castle or the like. But there are brooms and mops. Our apartment had a problem with the power relay in the middle of the first night, which caused some sockets, air conditioning and lights to stop working or flicker. However, the owner immediately exchanged it the next morning and in return forfeited the late check out (40€ until 7pm) for the hassle and a warm night without air conditioning. The best customer service.

At this price (large) poor quality.
Location only - right by the beach
Room on the first floor with a constant smell of sewerage (the hatch is right there on the balcony). Two of the bedrooms have NO WINDOWS and smell of dampness. There is no airflow and it is impossible to sleep (we all slept in the same living room because of this). Plus not very clean (especially in the bathroom). At this price, this is clearly not a luxury apartment.

Relaxing stay in a great location by the sea.
The location is great. we had an apartment on the ground floor, i.e. the garden door opened and the beach was just a few steps away. Nice sea view, quiet but walking distance to everything. Very friendly, welcoming hostess.
We didn't like anything, but here are some suggestions for improvement: Beach towels would be nice. And if you want to cook something - we preferred large taverns - there will be a sharp knife, a colander for salad / pasta, etc. And you need a cutting board.

The Bella Mare apartments are highly recommended. We had a great view of the sea.
Very good welcome, with homemade Easter cakes despite late arrival.

Disappointing
Location close to the beach
Both rooms are blind. One of the bedside lamps is not working. The apartment faces directly onto the street, so the terrace cannot be used.

great place and great accommodation
Absolutely great location right on the sea front. Very calm. Balconies east side and west side. very good conditions. the place is small and not crowded. Anna, the hostess is very nice and takes care of everything.

Heavenly!
Best location with a bakery and mini market a few steps away. After a tour of the region, you notice that Kalamaki is a dinner beach with not too many tourists and just a few taverns on a small cozy dam. Other beach villages are much larger and livelier. Drink on your large terrace overlooking the setting sun! saaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!

We want to return...
Great location overlooking the sea (Dahlia quarter) and fantastic sunsets. Very friendly and dedicated owners who take a long time to fix broken TV systems.

At night, a blue light burned on the roof of the house next to the balcony. Needless to say, no one was there.

very nice apartment, great sea view, very nice beach.
The sea view is great, the sunset is ahead, the terrace is big enough to eat at 4 and enjoy the view. The apartment is very modern and "designer", refined but cozy. The large sandy beach under the building is very beautiful with large flat stones. There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance, most of which are takeaway and are good, as is almost everywhere in Crete. Excellent bedding in master bedroom.
some utensils for eating or cooking were missing: colander...

Facing the sea
Bella Mare is in an ideal location, right in front of the beach and at the beginning of the promenade leading to the restaurants. The beach is great, restaurants are great and not very crowded (we easily found a table for 10 people). We are right on the water and can walk back and forth to the beach / apartment without any problem. The welcome is kind and warm. The supermarket next door and the village of Kalamaki allow us to get to the sights of the region very quickly.
In our apartment there is no air conditioning in the bedrooms, only in the large room, but this is not annoying, because the apartment is cool and we do not suffer from the heat. The wifi is not strong enough, but we had the apartment farthest from the terminal.

Great apartment!
Excellent equipment, including for self-cooking. Perfect place for a pleasant evening meal, great beach. Very clean and brand new! I'll be back in an instant!
If there is anything to complain about, it is only that the Wi-Fi is not working.

Great apartment, great hosts
Very friendly hosts. Fantastic large apartment. With love and new furniture, with everything you need. Directly on the promenade overlooking the sea from the terrace. I really don't know anything to criticize about property. Supermarket around the corner, delicious restaurants around. I would like to book again anytime.

Fantastic sea views and daily sunset.
Fantastic location with incredible sea and bay views! The daily sunset from the balcony or sofa is really great! I had an apartment on the corner - three balconies in three directions meant that somewhere there was always a shadow, somewhere there was or no wind. Ideally. Nice welcome (albeit two hours earlier), completely uncomplicated communication via WhatsApp. The air conditioner worked quietly and efficiently, spacious dimensions, a washing machine in the bathroom and bathrobes were luxuries for me that I did not need at all. The mattress (just one!) Was good.
Actually, nothing. The kitchen equipment could have been slightly better and unfortunately the dishes were not very clean. The previous occupant probably washed the dishes (there was no dishwasher). But this did not spoil my holiday joy. Really beautiful apartment! What you need to know: Depending on the season, the sea in Kalamaki can be quite choppy. Since the house is right by the sea, you can hear the waves crashing day and night. It can be quite loud, but it is also very enjoyable! :-)

Accommodation with a wonderful sunset!
The room is very tastefully decorated. He is very generous. The terrace is large and beautiful. The kitchen is well equipped. In principle, the location is excellent. Every morning you watch the sea at breakfast. You have a magnificent sunset every evening. Coffee and fresh juices can be bought in the neighborhood every morning. There is a bakery behind the hotel that sells delicious breads, cakes, biscuits and croissants. A mini market is 50 meters away.
The rooms on the ground floor are on the same level with a small parking lot. There is a lot of activity here, especially on weekends, and you are very worried about the noise of the engines and the constant turning of the cars. In addition, many people pass by the terrace. Therefore, when moving around the room, the curtains should be closed. The air conditioner is directed towards the head.

Modern apartment in a great location with very friendly owners. We recommend.
Excellent front row beach location with unobstructed sunset views from the terrace. Spacious, modern, well equipped apartment. Very friendly hosts who even gave us homemade rakia and olive oil. Thank you for your warm welcome.

Everything is super !!!
Wonderful, beautifully furnished house right by the sea. Kalamaki is a beautiful place with a comfortable, no-frills beach promenade. Cafes and restaurants, as well as a small bakery with many delicacies, are in the immediate vicinity of the apartment. There is a small road between the house and the beach, but it is hardly used and did not bother us. But we were glad that we were not on the first floor and were able to enjoy the beautiful view.

Overall good, but not very good!
Large shower and excellent water pressure. Comfortable mattresses. Kind and helpful managers.
Apartment only with a French door! Defective air conditioner.

Very nice new apartment, right on the beach. Taverns and a supermarket just a few steps away. Good owners.
The apartment was great. In the shallow water on the beach there are stones, which makes it difficult to enter the water with strong waves.

Perfect location by the sea !!
Everything, the house is large and bright, overlooking the sea. The spacious terrace allowed us to have breakfast in the morning by the sea. The house is equipped with every comfort: bouncing TV, washing machine, iron and board, super-equipped kitchen. Large wardrobe and safe. The owner is very kind and very helpful and in the end she gave us the oil and rakia they made. I have no idea what more you could ask for! Close to bars and restaurants on the promenade, from where there is a bus to Matala.

Dream in the south of Crete
The hosts are very friendly. The beach and sunsets are amazing. Would love to stay here again anytime. The children also really liked it.
You have to search very hard until you find something to complain about. I did not find the beds particularly comfortable, unlike most hotels in Greece. This worried my family less.

Magnificent apartment with sea view
Perfect location and sea view directly from the apartment and its terrace. Enjoy breakfast in the shade in the morning and enjoy an aperitif at sunset over the Libyan Sea! Easy access and free parking just 20 meters away. Friendly and pleasant staff, impeccable cleanliness in the apartment, cleaning every 3 days with a change of towels and bed linen. Very spacious and bright, but very well equipped! (Best I've rented so far). The warm host offered us a bottle of brandy and a bottle of homemade olive oil, we loved the gesture!
The wifi is ineffective and we don't have a good reception in the apartment, it's a shame! But now is the time to disconnect and meet again;)

A pleasant stay by the sea and close to 2 main Minoan monuments (Festus, Agia Triada).
Close proximity to the beach, the accommodation of which is only separated from the sea by a path. Cleanliness and comfort of very well equipped accommodation (very well designed kitchen, washing machine, shower stall of sufficient size and serviceable). The discretion and at the same time the hospitality of the owner who gave us excellent olive oil and crayfish on the day of departure.
With very strong westerly winds (which sometimes happens in spring), the beach is uninhabitable due to the sand blown away by the wind.
