The location and the stay were simply good, very friendly and very helpful if you had any questions.

Beautiful, rustic accommodation with a friendly operator. Easy and good !
The accommodation is close to the main road, but you don't hear anything from it. Parking spots are available. Our request to check in a little earlier than usual was granted. The beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious. Overall we felt very welcome. Sure, the furnishings aren't from this decade, but they still had their charm and it was quite comfortable. The operator was very friendly.
It was all good. In fact, we have nothing to complain about.

Absolute satisfaction. We enjoyed our stay very much.
Totally awesome! Dear owner, the equipment is a bit older but everything was cleaned very carefully. Amazing location, a short walk from the historic center and the forest. We are completely satisfied. Highly recommended.

Everything was fine, even the weather cooperated.
The breakfast was plentiful and good. The owners friendly and accommodating. We felt very comfortable. We were completely satisfied and would check into this hotel again at any time.

The hotel is in need of renovation.
The hostess is very friendly and helpful. The hotel room offers a balcony with a beautiful view. Breakfast is decent, but not for those with a sweet breakfast (unfortunately only jam and no honey).
Hotel has the charm of 50 years ago. The furnishings and bathroom are outdated and need to be renovated. The hotel is located far from the town center (1 km). No rolls on Sunday, unfortunately only bread.

We felt very comfortable. Hospitable!!
We traveled to the zipline in Hirschgrund with 4 people on May 12th, 2023 and booked 2 double rooms with breakfast. Even though we were there 30 minutes early, the check was very straightforward. . The hostesses are super nice and the service is very attentive and friendly! Wonderful location with a view of the Black Forest. Great view. The equipment is very old, but clean and comfortable beds. The breakfast leaves nothing to be desired. Very very rich and delicious!! The price is also completely okay. You feel “at home”... Free parking space in front of the house. The WiFi works in the rooms. We would like to come back, but unfortunately it is the last season for the hotel. We wish the Schilli family all the best for the future and, above all, health. Thank you for the great stay.
We didn't miss anything. A hairdryer and kettle were also available in the hallway.

Cozy hotel, very nice owner
Miss Shilly is very warm and tries very hard. We were warmly welcomed despite our late arrival. The breakfast was also well prepared.
The equipment is a little old, but everything is clean and without defects!

Small hotel with a personal touch.
Very friendly welcome. The bathroom was dated but clean. There was no restaurant but a small lunch menu. You can eat outside on the terrace. ontbijt is very good. you are really treated like a guest

Live like with mom!
The guest house still exudes 1970s charm. But everything is neat and in good condition! We especially liked the beautifully designed garden. We even have a garage for our bikes.
Smoke detectors are not available in the rooms although they have been a requirement for many years.

Nice little hotel with cozy quiet rooms and a beautiful view of the forest. Even during breakfast in the "Shtube" there is a cozy and pleasant atmosphere with very friendly and polite hotel operators.

Very friendly welcome and care, family atmosphere, great location! Breakfast was prepared with love and delicious!
The facilities are a bit dated! Everything was very clean and tidy, but somehow transferred to the 70s.

Nice, familiar little hotel
nice little hotel in a good location for hiking. Very clean and Ms Shiley is very friendly. But it's good if you have a car, for example, to get to the city, as the hotel is located in a quiet residential area about 1.5 km from the small old town. The bathrooms are original from the 1970s and very clean. It's really charming.
I have no criticism, maybe more suggestion No guest drink lockers to write down. But he can call if you want something. But if you come back later in the evening, it will take some effort, because in the evening you don't want to be disturbed.

Definitely recommended for an overnight stay while traveling.
Very friendly woman, beautiful location from the terrace great view. Penalty for stopping en route. Small map, but good if you don't feel like going to the village. Good breakfast, everything neatly organized.

Overall, it was a great stay with the Schilli family.
The family is very nice. Well maintained home with great layout. The hotel is very clean. A bit older but clean and well maintained. She also tries to fulfill wishes. We even had a bike garage where we didn't have to pay.
The breakfast could have been more varied. Otherwise it was delicious. A couple of garden chairs would be nice too.

Overall we had a good stay.
Nice breakfast. Muesli with yogurt or cottage cheese will do. Otherwise, nothing is missing. Bicycles could be parked in a closed garage.
Unfortunately a bit noisy. Due to the location on the slope, traffic noise is clearly audible.

The stay at the hotel was very pleasant and if time permits we would be happy to return.

A bit old fashioned but very welcoming
Super hostess Andrea, who, along with her eighty-year-old mother, welcomes guests with love. Comfortable beds, large room with balcony, excellent breakfast. You can come and go as you please.
The shower did not give such a strong jet, but it is just what you are used to. So no problem. In addition, through the open window you can hear the movement of trucks on the road in the valley. No drama (for us because we were away a lot).

A luxury stay at a popular price.
Excellent breakfast. It's worth paying the extra and staying for breakfast. Delicious and the treatment is of a luxury hotel. The cleaning is perfect. The views from the rooms or from the dining room are privileged.
The furniture looks a bit dated and there is no fridge in the rooms but I would go back in a heartbeat.

Since we were only there to sleep, we were happy with everything.
It was very clean and the hostess tried very hard. Breakfast is served individually in person, at least we didn't have a buffet.
The room was very noisy. And the parking situation is very limited. The access road is so narrow that two cars cannot pass side by side.

Very good for this price
Neat hotel on the outskirts of the village (10 minutes walk from the center), on a small hill. Enough space for parking. The reception was very friendly. The room had a nice balcony. Breakfast was served at the table which I like. The hotel has a terrace where you can have a drink, which I did. You can also eat a little something. By the way, I haven't tried it.
The hotel is a little dated but certainly not annoying

It is located next to the road. Lots of trucks and bad sleep. You can't pay with Visa and they won't let you know until you arrive. It depends on how long you stay, they will leave you without cash. There are practically no ATMs in that part of the Black Forest. The rooms and especially the bathroom are very small.

Too cool room in May.... The mattress on the bed is of course old and very uncomfortable. The bed is too small. The only unsecured lock in the room with an old fashioned key. The noise of cars under the road.
