All in all a very pleasant stay.
Very nice and quiet location, uncomplicated, quick check-in and check-out. Very friendly staff.
One morning the staff was obviously overwhelmed by a larger group (class meeting). By 9:30 a.m. the rolls were gone and you had to bake some first.

A house where you can go back again and again
Very good family-run hotel. Very nice and friendly staff. Everything was very clean and well-kept atmosphere. Hotel in a beautiful, scenic and quiet location.
Beds very hard, take some getting used to but no reason to complain.

Great hotel in a great location
We were completely satisfied with the hotel. We had an excellent large two-story accommodation with a beautiful and brightly lit bathroom. The location is excellent. You have a great view of the valley. The restaurant is also great and so is the breakfast. There were no problems at all with the staff either.
There's actually nothing there. Maybe that the hotel entrance door doesn't open really wide and is quite difficult. And that the bright ceiling lamp in the living room has a very cold light. That's why you don't want to turn it on, even if you would like it to be brighter.

Everything is super !!!
The location of the hotel is fantastic, the view from the winter garden is outstanding! The food tasted excellent and the breakfast buffet was great, there was even a glass of sparkling wine for breakfast.

The location was beautiful, not only did you have a great view of the towns and the Zittau Mountains, you could also go straight up to the Lausche. We didn't miss anything in the hotel. The staff was very friendly and dedicated!

We had a wonderful weekend in the best location and with very good service.
The breakfast was varied and just great! The location of the hotel is excellent and a very good starting point for activities. The sauna is also very nice and complements the offer in a very pleasant way.
On the second evening we were asked for dinner whether we had made a reservation (house guests!) and finally found a seat in the separate winter garden next to chairs/tables pushed together. That was less comfortable. By the way, we were told by phone on Friday that a reservation was not necessary.

First choice in Waltersdorf!
The location is simply fantastic and the rooms are very modern, the bathroom is awesome, including the rain shower 😀 everything is clean and tidy. The staff was always on the ball, super friendly and always helpful. What more do you want! Please keep it up, you are a great team! Many thanks for the nice stay with you in the Hubertusbaude!

Very rich and good quality breakfast with a great view from the winter garden over the valley (foreland of the Zittau Mountains). Great starting point for hiking and/or trips to Görlitz; Bautzen and Zittau.

Highly recommended for hikers!
Very good place for hikers, you can start many hikes from Bode. Parking spaces for cars were available to us Sufficient length of stay available. The breakfast was very good from my point of view, catered for all tastes and quite affordable. Dinner a la carte, very good and very varied menu.

We spent the weekend at the beautiful Hubertusbaude and it was beautiful The staff were very friendly and nice. The furnishings of the rooms are spacious and modern. As we loved it, we stayed again in November booked. I can only recommend this hotel 👍👍👍👍

Beautiful large rooms, bathroom is new and very modern. The breakfast was great, the eggs were freshly cooked. The partner hotel, about 400 m away, has a swimming pool that you can use.

Wonderful children's cottage with a wonderful view
First things first: I slept great and the breakfast was delicious. Of particular note are the very friendly staff, child friendly facilities, cleanliness, great location with great views and all at reasonable prices. I really liked the silence in the rooms. The second door to the corridor did not interfere with the noise of other guests.
A way to completely darken the room would be great. Existing curtains allowed for sufficient blackout, but not complete blackout for people who like to sleep in total darkness.

Just great...
The breakfast was very good, lots of choice and you could order scrambled eggs or scrambled eggs on request. Beautiful winter garden with a fantastic view. You can go hiking directly from the hotel.

The place was really great. Great view of the valley right next to Lausche. The food conservatory and terrace with great views were also great to use here. The breakfast buffet was excellent. The food from the menu was more than plentiful and hard to manage, the portions were very large. The staff were very friendly. We had a very good holiday.
At night it was sometimes quite noisy, perhaps due to the location right above the restaurant and next to the kitchen. The extra bed (sofa bed) was very hard and unfortunately not very comfortable.

Ideal place to stay
Everything was perfect: a very large room to sit with the family in the evening, very well equipped, a very good, rich breakfast, a very tasty dinner at very reasonable prices.

Recommended hotel with good value for money and good operator team
Very good breakfast, great choice, fresh fruits and vegetables, sparkling wine, fresh bread rolls, very good omelet and scrambled eggs on order from the staff, beautiful view of the winter garden, very friendly and helpful staff, beautiful, secluded location mountains of Zittauer. The hotel's parking is free. Very nice new bathroom with shower over bathtub
Beds are quite hard (but that's subjective), beds are individually assembled (slip), TV picture size is a bit small (but we weren't in the beautiful mountains of Zittau to watch TV). The skylights (we had a double room on the third floor) and above all the blackout blinds need a major overhaul... All in all, this doesn't detract from a great stay! We would like to return.

Our expectations were exceeded and we would like to return there again.
Buffet breakfast with a large, delicious selection, very nice bathroom with plenty of storage space, fridge for drinks in the self-service lobby, free sauna with hassle-free check-in, beautiful hotel location with great views of the Zittau mountains, hiking trails right next to the house and much more.
Whining at the highest level: there is no radio in the room.

Hubertusbaude in Waltersdorf
The hotel is on a slope with a very nice country view. A winter garden style restaurant with very good food and an equally beautiful view. The room was very clean and tidy with a smart and modern bathroom. The sauna is very clean and tidy, towels are provided, bathrobes are available upon request. Hiking trails pass right at the front door. Very quiet place in nature. All around very nice and uncomplicated stay. I definitely recommend the hotel!

Very nice house in an open, quiet location with fantastic views. Very spacious room and bathroom. Well located restaurant with a good selection of food and drinks. Very good extensive although only cold breakfast (including sparkling wine).

Very good accommodation in a great location.
Very nice camp, very big room and very clean. The staff is very responsive and responds quickly to requests. The breakfast was adequate, lots of fresh fruits and vegetables and a good selection of bread rolls. A little more variety in the choice of sausages and cheeses, and I would like variety in egg dishes. Dinner was excellent. Otherwise, it was a wonderful holiday in beautiful nature.

The stay was very relaxing, great location and fantastic view. the staff is very friendly.
Unfortunately the breakfast was not very good, the buns were collected, the bread was toasted and not fresh. But dinner and cake were delicious.

A good starting point for sports both in summer and winter.
We were especially pleased with the quality and offer in the restaurant. But the cleanliness and equipment of the rooms should also be emphasized.

Great view, great breakfast
Adhere to Corona hygiene measures? Definitely not there. Staff do not wear masks and guests are not “required” to wear them. There are also no distance rules. The à la carte food was terrible! But still I must say that you were offered alternatives, but, unfortunately, it was still not very tasty. The cleaning ladies were apparently there every day, the beds were also made, but then it stopped. If you have pointed out something to the staff that you are not happy with, nobody cares. My family and I are very disappointed to have paid so much money for this trip. And breaking the rules of the crown just doesn't work. But this is how the whole city seems. It will probably close first again.

Dream in the mountains.
Hidden in the Zittau mountains, a stone's throw from the state border. Those who stay here should take the time to browse. The kitchen has a very good selection of regional products and the chef cooks very tasty.

Nice room in a nice location. Great view of the valley - from the room and in the restaurant.
The only small complaint: we didn't have Wi-Fi at all in the room in the annex of the house - but we weren't necessarily there because of the Wi-Fi :)

Successful in all respects

Apparently, no one knew the so-called AHA rules. The distance was very small, no one was wearing masks, the disinfectant was empty everywhere!

It was 2 good days and I will come again.
Nice room with great views, rich breakfast, warm welcome, quiet and pleasant atmosphere.
Unfortunately, the kitchen was only open until 17:00. There was an opportunity to dine at the Rübezahlbaude. No problem when the weather is nice, but unpleasant when it rains.

The location of the hotel is very good, you can see it far in the surroundings. We were well received. Excellent breakfast that was very extensive. The fruit assortment was very good.
It's a shame that there is no restaurant in the house in the evening.

When booking, it is recommended to clarify which rooms are facing forward and which are "only" from the side. Breakfast from 8:00 am for tourists a little late.

The lighting fixtures were very good - several in different parts of the room. In the bathroom, besides the dryer, there are other options for hanging towels.

We liked it very much, we will be back.
The place is a dream. You sit in the restaurant's large conservatory and admire the views of the Zittau mountains. The hotel is very functional, well thought out and tastefully furnished. There were no savings in construction. This can be seen, for example, in the massive doors of rooms that block out sound. A small detail on the side: the bathroom has a footrest for children to use the washbasin.
In some places in the winter garden the sun falls in your face in the morning. Maybe the blinds will help. But there is nothing more to complain about ...

Nice dinner. Great view. Very good mattresses. Very clean. The winter garden is very beautiful.
Balconies directly above the open terrace of the restaurant, noisy in summer. Better to live on the side or at the top. The partition is too low like a screen. Once at 9.30 am, only the remnants of breakfast remained. Otherwise, it's okay.

We'll be back when the weather is nice.
Buffet breakfast and quietness in the house, there were only 2 of us in the whole hotel.
A bare ice approach is only possible with a lot of swing. The weather, but no one can do anything about it.

Relaxing hike in the Zittau mountains
The name Baude hides a first class hotel in a good scenic location, with very good facilities, the size of a building, a suitable lift, very clean rooms, a restaurant with good style and food, very pleasant and helpful staff.
