Great apartment in a beautiful location
The apartment was great, clean, large and very nicely decorated. Plus the large roof terrace, great. The hostess was very accommodating and nice. The village of Stiege is quiet and well-kept, very beautifully located.

We received a friendly welcome. The handover of the keys went very smoothly, as with the key code. There were enough parking spaces. It was very comfortable and lovingly furnished.

An apartment to feel good!
Very good communication with the owner. The apartment is beautifully furnished and every detail has been thought of, including kitchen equipment. The roof terrace is great. The location on the small lake is idyllic, you can walk around it for a nice 3 km walk. The Stave Church and the Harzer Schmalspurbahnen train station can also be reached on foot (about 1 km, 15 minutes). In addition, the western town of Harz, the Rappbodetalsperre and the Rübeland Caves are only a few minutes away by car. Since the kitchen is actually a kitchen-living room with a dining area, you have two separate bedrooms (if you also use the living room as a bedroom).
Nothing really, we were cooking spaghetti and the ladle of spaghetti was gone, but if that was the biggest problem... :-)

The hosts were both very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was more than adequate and tasty. The holiday apartment with large terrace is very spacious and nicely furnished. From there, you can plan various hikes or drive to major tourist sites. Nearby is the Rabodetalsperre with the Titan suspension bridge, nothing for people with a fear of heights 😉, because it also swings. The castle in the city is highly recommended. All in all a highly recommended apartment!
Too expensive for 1 night 125 euros including breakfast, sheets and towels. Since we were on a circular route and it was on our tour, we decided to do it. Of course, there are no upper limits...

The area is very good, housing never again.
When we arrived, all the heaters were off, so the apartment was very cold. In the bathroom, we could not raise the temperature to a comfortable temperature despite the heating being on. The temperature was estimated at 18 degrees. We can’t give an exact figure, there was no thermometer in the whole apartment. Definitely too cold. The entire apartment was functional but unloved. We call something like "A dog from every village." We go on short holidays twice a year and have never had such a negative experience, even with cheaper apartments. ------------------------------------------------ Hello Anna, a few more lines to your reaction: I I understand that tastes differ when it comes to home furnishings. I have nothing against repairing old furniture. I would like to briefly describe what I mean by "without love": Two different kitchen cabinets have been installed in the kitchen. The difference in the height of the refrigerator and stove was compensated by boards and crates (visible). In the corridor, you were immediately transported to the old days of the GDR, the jacket was allowed to hang on an old hanger, which I personally know from restaurants in the GDR. Probably from the guest room on the first floor. A wall clock in at least one room of the apartment would be handy, I already mentioned the missing thermometer. Nowadays, in my experience, radio is the standard in holiday homes. Like I said, taste is debatable... three fake plants, two of them on the terrace, didn't make up for the experience we loved. By the way, I would fix the loose railing in the hallway. Mario+Sandra

We felt very comfortable and would recommend this accommodation.
The key was in the key safe so check in was easy. We were pleasantly surprised by how the apartment was set up. We felt very comfortable and had a great view from the large terrace. I had to contact the hostess with a question, she was very friendly and promptly solved the problem. We can really recommend this accommodation.
The bed in the bedroom is rather wobbly.

Overall good.
The size of the apartment and equipment. Quiet place.
Since the owners probably do not live in the village and the apartment in front of us was probably not occupied, it took two hours for the temperature to be correct. For the same reason, they turned off the refrigerator and took the same amount of time to cool the drinks. Bed linen and towels had to be taken with you.

It was a wonderful vacation, you can see or do something new every day.
The location is very central and everything can be easily reached by car. The apartment was very clean and well maintained.
