I thought it was nice, simply put, I like accommodation in a hotel like that, I don't want to fill myself up, but here you could be yourself, I think that would be great

We particularly liked how cheerful and warm the accommodation was. It was our first time in a hostel and we were immediately impressed. In addition, the beach is not far from the accommodation. It's easy to get anywhere from here. We felt very comfortable, even the children didn't want to leave... and that's saying something... We will definitely come back... Many thanks to Silke and her girls for this great experience.

Pure nature and cycling in good company.
The hostel is wonderfully surrounded by greenery and is quiet when most of the (family) visitors are out of the house. There are many books and games to keep you occupied alone or with others. The free bikes with locks were very, very practical! Uncomplicated check-in and check-out. Very clean and very well equipped kitchen.
The walk to the beach and the nearest supermarket was a bit long, but doable by bike. The house is quite noisy and this is a bit inconvenient for people who want to sleep in, but you can also sleep well in the afternoon because the rooms can be darkened easily!

Simply beautiful, something special
The hostel is in the country, there are bikes, everything is ideal. I'd love to come back, it's just beautiful there. You feel very welcome.

It was nice and cozy.
You have the opportunity to cook your own food, there are separate toilets and showers, the beds are soft. And bikes could be rented.
It took a long time to get to the hostel with luggage and the bikes might need to be fixed.

Nice stop! But listen carefully
The kitchen is very well equipped - very friendly staff - met nice people - nice atmosphere - the bed in the single room was great! - everything is well organized - playing together in the evening was fun!
It was very noisy and there was a very noisy family living there, which made it almost impossible to sleep. :( However the second night was better. remote location.

The value for money is right and if you want to relax you are in good hands here in the beautiful scenery.
The accommodation is very quiet, you can have a good rest, the kitchen has everything you need to take care of yourself, if necessary, you can wash and dry your clothes (2.50 euros).
There are not enough explanations upon arrival, you don’t know where to find something (refrigerators, washing machine, ...), which door is locked at what time in the evening, etc. Unfortunately, some bikes are in very poor condition and dangerous to ride.

A one night stay might be okay, but not somewhere I want to spend my precious vacation
There was hot water in the shower
The house inside and out was very worn, not enough furniture for all guests, the room could only be used for overnight stays. Many families with children, lots of unrest, not much opportunity to relax.

It was ok and enough for one night
The view is a dream in a quiet location, if you are looking for peace and quiet this is the place for you
Unfortunately there was no bed for the parents, they were all singles, the volume was a bit inconvenient due to the roommates.

Thank you, it was a wonderful, real vacation!
Colorful and cheerful, designed with love. Exactly what you need for a really relaxing holiday away from everything, preferably with children who can freely develop on a large natural area. And everything is there: a large shared kitchen, a terrace, a lot of space for outdoor recreation, bicycles...
This is not for people who want everything to be organized and perfect. That's why I found it so wonderfully relaxing.

The address and arrival route from booking.com is incorrect. 280 m from the stop was 2.8 km. It was not in Surendorf. It was in Kruzendorf. It was only revealed after a call from Kruzend's bus. bad after Eckernferde. To the beach in Kruzend. 6 km. At € 40.00 per night in a small children's room is too expensive.

Closer to the beach but further from the city.
I really liked the homely, rural style of the entire facility. The rooms, decorated in a sea-pirate style, lacked nothing (maybe except matches for a romantic candle :-) ). The kitchen was superbly equipped. The bathroom and toilet, although tiny and shared between 2 rooms, were clean and tidy. The owner very nice and helpful. It is definitely worth coming back here, but rather in the summer time.
Unfortunately, nowadays the lack of wifi is a big inconvenience. It is worth paying attention to this aspect when visiting tourists from other countries who do not have a German Internet card purchased. The lack of any grocery store within a fairly large radius from the facility may be a bit disturbing. For short people, high beds can be problematic.

Stayed there for a few days as my friends got married nearby.
The rooms are very nicely furnished, as is the rest of the hostel. The location is great, really good for relaxing. The owner is very nice.
For me, as a user of public transport, it was difficult to get there, but not impossible. In the end, they offered me a lift to the station. This is a very good place for drivers but I can recommend it otherwise. Where there is a will, there is a way ;)

Extraordinary, special decoration of the rooms. There is a love for detail here. Large kitchen with everything you need. A beautiful place with a large garden where you can always find a place to relax. A very pleasant hostess.
The house is very noisy. If you want to sleep early this is not recommended.

I was there for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. Spot on.
the hostess was very friendly, relaxed and approachable at all times and also simple. The hostel is beautifully furnished, every room, including the common areas and the garden around the house, is very clean and the toilet and shower are very clean. The next location was easily reachable by bike or car. The remoteness of the hostel really liked me and my fellow travelers. The photos on the website reflect the hostel's "character" well.
Maybe the bikes could be a little fresher. I don’t know anymore.

The hostel is in an idyllic setting, surrounded by meadows and fields. By car, in a few minutes you can reach different sections of the beach, which we also really liked. The owner Silke was especially good. With her open and laid-back manner, she takes great care of the needs of her guests. Our family room is decorated in an original way. The kitchen and bathroom were clean and well maintained. We especially liked the beautiful sun loungers around the house. We spent a lot of time in the shade under the apple trees, against the background of abundantly flowering mallows ... Great! THANKS😊😊😊😊

If the installers had not been placed, it would, of course, be quieter and calmer. Most people wanted to go on vacation, and that doesn't go well with the rhythm of workers who just need cheap accommodation!

Very good welcome. You immediately felt at home. Simple. Our youth thought our room was great. Well organized. Will be happy to return and would definitely recommend. Ideal for a cycling holiday on the Baltic Sea.

A great opportunity to spend a relaxing holiday with children.
Very friendly owner who is always there and helps with every question. It is also very unusual and interesting furnished, there is something to admire. A great opportunity to spend an inexpensive vacation with several children. There are many great excursion destinations nearby, but you can also have a great time with the kids and relax at the hostel.
What we unfortunately didn't like was that pets are not allowed, but there were 3 dogs with other guests during our visit. The dogs were nice, there were no problems, but I would like to know in advance. So everyone has a chance to say that I'd rather order something else without the dogs.

The bed was very comfortable. The introduction to the hostel was really great. Small cozy house for several people.
There is no trash can in the room. The sinks were small, cramped, and had few options.

It was an experience
The bathroom was supposed to be shared, we knew that well. Everything was very worn out, the terrace, including the furniture, was completely worn out, partly broken. You really need to invest in a new deck floor and comfortable furniture. Moreover, the price is the same as for houses of a higher class. The kitchen is shared, so it looks like it.

Great hostel, charmingly furnished, with many additional services (free bike rental, assortment of teas for everyone ...), very friendly hostess - pleasant atmosphere!

Exceptional
nice and quiet hostel, about 2 km from the beach. From our room we could see the sea and leave the window open at night because it is very quiet there. The owner of this hostel really does everything to make guests feel comfortable and safe during the crown. The shared kitchen is large and very well equipped, where you have the opportunity to connect with other travelers, of course, keeping your distance. It was a very nice stay, we hope to be back soon and wish the owner many guests during this time!

We would love to stay longer and explore the area! Definitely again
We visited relatives in Kiel. The city center can be reached in 20 minutes by car. Unfortunately, we were not able to explore the area, but there were a few leaflets about cycling and hiking trails that you can follow on foot. The sea is also visible through the window (on the right side of the house). All rooms are lovingly designed and the bathrooms are also in excellent condition (recently refurbished and clean). There is even a disabled toilet on the ground floor.
We didn’t use the kitchen much, but we didn’t find a really sharp knife (and we didn’t look for it too much). It is rather difficult to get to the place of residence without a car.

The stay was so lovely.
The friendliness of the staff, because there was a delay on the way (due to traffic jams) - and then I received the answer that they would wait half an hour longer - and then, if necessary, they would give the number of the safe with the keys.
Doors that close automatically can be fitted with a slightly lower spring tension to make them easier to open for people with disabilities. But this is in the fields ...

Feel good
Relaxed, almost family atmosphere, not too big, you can chat with guests. I thought the furniture was great, you can eat your own meals in the shared kitchen. The books don't just stand there to look at, they also cater to children. I really liked the facility. Everything is clean and well maintained. A resting place as a starting point for excursions and relaxation in the evenings. With a clear conscience, I can recommend a hotel room😊😎
This is not the place for people looking for hustle and bustle, you can take a bike if you want, the distances to the water and shops are acceptable.

I liked it, but I do not recommend this experience.
The location of the house is beautiful and relatively close to the sea by car, but far away on foot. track

Nice rooms, functionally furnished
Very noisy. The first night we were alone and slept well. The second night was almost fully booked and the other guests were inattentive and noisy. There was no silence in the house until 23:00.

Best hostel I've ever been to.
Super easy communication. Very nice individual rooms, lots of nice details. More beautiful than many hotels. Very quiet place overlooking the sea and sea air;) Individual showers and toilet. Very comfortable beds.

Nice hostel with nice hosts in a quiet, secluded location
Nice hostel with nice hosts. The house is spacious, the kitchen is fully equipped. You can even buy little things (food / drinks). There is a rustic radio, but it works fine. Everything is very uncomplicated and casual. Ideally you have a car, or at least a good bike, the accommodation is very quiet and about 25 km from Kiel. There is a bus, but rarely. Tip: by bike to the Strand (about 8 km along Kieler Förde), from there by city bus every 30-60 minutes or by boat to the center of Kiel. There is also a small supermarket in Stranda with delicious rolls.

Small cozy hostel where nostalgia and modernity meet :)
As a cyclist, booked very spontaneously and received a very good welcome, there are also double rooms for more privacy, the loft room really had a sea view :) Everything is very clean! We sat in the kitchen in the evening in a very good company. We felt very comfortable and would love to come back!
