Don't exaggerate, I'll never fall for something like that again, you should file a lawsuit against it.

Little staff, entrance door handles loose, only 4 television programs complained about without change, large terrace no opportunity to rest, grass growing out of slabs, room shabby, poorly furnished, bathroom no hooks or shower products, unbelievable but true toilet bowl tilted to the side, bathroom outdated and you can have conversations via the ventilation system Hear in the other room, price too high.

Highly recommended home
We were welcomed very nicely. The food in the restaurant was super delicious. The breakfast was lovingly prepared and left nothing to be desired. The room comfortable and clean. We recommend this house without reservation.

Nice hotel for 1 or more nights

Relaxing days with a good breakfast!!!
Family run hotel. We booked for 3 nights with breakfast. As a family with 2 children, we had the largest family room, the sleeping areas were separated. The room was very large and the bathroom with shower was very spacious. Breakfast was sufficient and very tasty. There was a choice of boiled eggs, fried eggs and scrambled eggs. Yoghurt with fresh fruit, muesli... A sausage/cheese platter... something for everyone. In the evening you can eat in the hotel restaurant or in the beer garden. Our stay was very relaxing and we will definitely come back.

Nice hotel with very tasty food and very friendly hosts
Very nice hosts. The food was delicious. A beautiful beer garden that invites you to linger. The hotel is in a great location and has a large parking lot in front of the house. The rooms have a wonderful view of the mountains.

Very friendly staff, very good service, free sufficient parking spaces right in front of the house, great breakfast, excellent dinner. Free WiFi, which also worked!!
The house is a bit old, but the tenants/innkeepers are doing their best to bring the rooms up to date.

Unfortunately, our room was right on the stairs and was pretty noisy so you could hear every guest in the hallway and wake up. The TV was broken on the first day and you had to ask for a hairdryer.

We would love to come back for the next sporting event.

Recommended hotel for a short stay
- very friendly welcome - family atmosphere - nice hosts - Rooms including bathroom were perfectly clean - good dinner with large portions - Sufficient free parking spaces directly in front of the house The absolute highlight was the breakfast - very lovingly prepared directly at the table, with a large selection
- Bathroom is a bit old - Mirror in the bathroom is unfortunately hardly usable for people under 1.7 m - Slatted frames creak quite a bit

Very nice short break in the ski area
The room was clean and the bathroom modern, the staff was very friendly and everything seemed family. The food, both breakfast and in the restaurant were very tasty. The location to the "Reit im Winkl" ski area (Winkelmoos/Steinplatte) is recommended, but the Austrian slopes can also be reached within 30 minutes by car. Were very satisfied :-)
It would have been nice to have a trash can in the room.

We stayed at the Almrausch with our dog for the weekend. The owners are very nice, polite and personal contact with the guests is very important to them. We especially liked the breakfast as it was decorated in a very personal and comfortable way :) We also found the animal friendliness very good. All in all, we can only warmly recommend the hotel. Great location, great view, nice hosts and very clean rooms.
A mini minus, if at all, is the beds, as they cracked badly as soon as you turned around. Other than that it's great :)

Central location, great breakfast (everything fresh and homemade) and nice staff the room decor was also just right.
the mattress is not at all comfortable; I have never seen such a soft mattress in my entire life. Since then my back has been hurting. You can also tell that some of the rooms have been refurbished but only partially done. we are very sorry as our stay in Reit im Winkl and in general at the Almrausch hotel would have been great if not for the bed. Please buy a new mattress and then your stay here will be much more valuable.

Very cozy hotel - feel good!
Very comfortably furnished room. The restaurant is also very cozy and beautiful. Cozy seating areas. The family that runs the hotel are very friendly and try hard.
The bed in our room was very soft. Too soft for us. At the end of the stay we raised this issue and were told that the mattresses in the rooms are very different. Therefore, when you check in, be sure to ask so that you get a suitable mattress! 😉 We'll do the same next time.

The breakfast was very good. The dishes offered on the menu were freshly prepared, very plentiful, for all tastes and tastes. The new tenants are very friendly, courteous - we felt comfortable.
The equipment is basic but the tenants are still pretty new and on the right track.

Never again.
Breakfast was ok
Rooms, showers and the whole hotel are very old. The beds creaked with every movement, so restful sleep was out of the question. The bathroom was very small (definitely not enough room for two), with no windows or ventilation. The dining area was dirty, very dusty finishes.... and I could list more. As a result, we left a day earlier than planned and paid. The only thing that was acceptable was the breakfast.

Good family hotel for a few nights or transit hotel
Breakfast is served at the table. Good location, in the center. Large free parking in front of the entrance. Playground and swimming pool within walking distance. Large family room. Good food in the restaurant. Map showing some of the free activities in the area.

Acceptable for 1-2 nights
The location of the hotel is ok. Although on the main street, with an open window, it was still possible to sleep well. The breakfast was good and sufficient.
The rooms were very small. We estimated our room at about 12-14 square meters, the description says 20. The bathroom was also very small. The surrounding balcony is not separated, i.e. you are lying in bed, and the children of other guests are running less than two meters from you. The beds were uncomfortable. Basically, everything gets old.

Very good hotel, especially for dog owners.
Very tasty breakfast, had everything that belongs to a rich breakfast (sausage, cheese, jam, Nutella, fruit, yoghurt, muesli...) and was ready on the table (so no buffet). As dog owners, we thought it was great that we could take our dog with us to breakfast. The food in the hotel restaurant is also very tasty. The rooms were nicely furnished and clean, we were completely satisfied. The host family is very friendly.
The beds were quite low and the TV very small. The wifi in the room was not very good, the balcony on the top floor is very narrow (but the hosts can't do anything about those two points).

Very good central location for a short break.
Very, very friendly staff, tried to do everything right. Excellent breakfast. Since we had to leave early on Sunday, they made us a packed lunch.
The room was in a bad location, it was very noisy. A small window looked out directly onto the terrace of another room, everything was heard and heard, including Helen Fisher ... The mattresses were very hard, and the bed creaked with every slightest movement. There were four of us, the other couple had a much better room. Bad luck. Don't think that you can close our room from the rest. But, unfortunately, everything was as described.

Excellent hotel for transit
The hotel is conveniently located in the center of Reit im Winkl. We had a family room. It was a spacious room with a double bed and a bunk bed. The bathroom was neat. We had access through the door to the (shared) balcony on the side of the hotel and with a great view of the mountains. The breakfast was well taken care of, no buffet but everything was ready on the tables for each group.
The curtains in the room were white and let in a lot of light. It wakes up early. Beds were reasonable, mattresses were a bit soft/sagging.

Relaxing days in beautiful accommodation
With the arrival of new tenants, a lot has changed. There is a lot of love for detail here. The tenant cooks himself and the food is excellent. Breakfast included and a dream. From fresh rolls to bread, muesli, whatever your heart desires. The staff is very friendly and polite. The cleanliness is very good and the location is great too. Free parking is provided. We'll be back!

Good for a short stay!
We stayed 2 nights at Hotel Almrausch, The hotel is very centrally located and has a beautiful beer garden! Our room was small, but it was fine for 2-3 nights. However the rooms on the ground floor do not have direct access to the balcony/terrace (access only through the door on the stairwell) The owners are very friendly and helpful!
There were also things that we didn't like and that could be improved. A shelf for shower supplies and cups for toothbrushes would not hurt! Unfortunately there were only 3 clothes hangers!!! Not enough for two people who can go hiking for 1 week! When asked, I was given 3 extra hangers, with the reference that guests would steal hangers over and over again! It's annoying, but as a guest, I can't help the thieving guests in front of me, and I don't want to be punished with just three hangers! What we didn't like was the breakfast (But this is purely subjective, other guests may like it) There was no buffet, everything was placed on the table, which is not bad! We were always asked if we wanted anything else! But most often it happens that one moment you have everything, and the next you want another roll, so you have to call the waiter and order more! I personally don't think this is a good thing and if you only receive the one order you ordered you will have to submit the condition again!

We felt comfortable for 3 days despite being away. Price/performance is ok.
Very nice staff/owners, breakfast was very lovingly prepared and everything was spot on. From juice to muesli. You could order anything at any time. There were also enough parking spaces.
Unfortunately, our children's room was not very warm. But the defect was not bypassed.

The price-quality ratio is correct.
The operators are really nice and friendly. The food in the restaurant is delicious and the prices are reasonable. Instead of a breakfast buffet, a mini buffet is served on the table.
You can tell the hotel is getting old. Obviously, something is being done, but somehow everything is somehow "blinded" and conditional. You can really forget about Wi-Fi. you are better served through a mobile phone.

The hotel is very centrally located. There is a car park directly in front of the hotel that you can use. The staff is very friendly and attentive, they take great care of the guests. The breakfast was fabulous and beautifully presented on these beautiful slate coasters. There was always enough of everything, if necessary, you could ask for more or order scrambled eggs, for example. We also dined there a few times, it was just perfect, large portions and very reasonable prices. All in all highly recommended!
The entrance door to the restaurant, as well as the door to the stairwell, must be equipped with additional curtains. When guests enter the restaurant or go up the stairs (to the rooms or ski storage), there is a terrible draft and it suddenly becomes very cool/cold. The door to the stairwell could also be used with an automatic. equipped with door closers. Overall, it was too cold in the guest room.

Nice staff, very good restaurant food, good value for money, good location, free parking.
The restaurant or breakfast room was always very drafty and cold. A good solution here would be the processes at the entrance doors. The food was very tasty, there were also vegetarian options. Here, however, even more vegetarian and vegan options could be offered, with some changes, for example. B. Meatless hamburger patty as an alternative to meat or veggie salad. Some of the rooms are in a different state: we had a really very small and somewhat old bathroom that you couldn't even turn around in and could use the new shower head in the next room, on the other hand the bathroom was more modern and also perfect in terms of sufficient space.

The welcome was very warm, we immediately felt welcome and comfortable. The room was clean and comfortably furnished. We can say that a lot of love was put into the little details, we really liked it. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was plentiful and also cooked with love, if you don't eat here it's your fault. Dinner at the restaurant was also delicious. There was absolutely nothing to complain about here.
There was only one small drawback that confuses someone, but not someone. The bed was noisy. This is the only thing that was a little confusing. But after a long day of skiing, you sleep so soundly and hardly move that you don't even notice it ;)

Relaxing short break in Reit im Winkl
Good location next to a large car park, in the city center and close to cross-country ski runs and hiking trails. Excellent breakfast, everything was already right on the table, we got the perfect egg for breakfast. The food in the restaurant in the evening was very tasty, compliments to the kitchen. A very nice family runs the hotel. Everything is very clean and lovingly decorated.
It might be nice to add a few more hangers to the closet 😀

The new one is only three weeks old and is already very good in many ways.
Very nice new owners. In an attempt to fulfill all the requests, even more gluten-free food became available. Yes, a lot of things have already been very well repaired and yes, there are still things that still need to be done. But these are all trifles and you can see with what love the owners approached the details to repair. This is definitely not a 5 star luxury hotel, no it is not, but everything we needed was there. The closet was huge, the furniture was in order, everything was very clean and many of the corners had already been recently refurbished. The breakfast was really great, the mini buffet at the table was a great idea, when something ran out you could eat it again, it wasn't a problem. From the room and from the balcony I aimed straight at the beautifully lit winter church. Everyone is super friendly. We will definitely be back and even better when the last little redecoration is done.
Nothing to complain about the best way to be a great period and after three weeks you can still close your eyes

The hotel is very centrally located. From here you can walk everywhere. There is a car park directly next to the hotel, which can be used by hotel guests. The staff is very friendly! :) The guests were well taken care of. Personally, I have rarely felt so good as in this hotel! The breakfast was great. There was always enough of everything, because it was very beautifully presented. In the evening you can also eat very well on site. This was definitely not my last stay at the Almrausch Hotel.

this is a nice little hotel with love. the new owners are a very sweet couple and take great care of the guests. We were there with our dog and were very well received. the rooms are typically furnished for the mountains and are very clean. The bathroom is very clean and cleaned every day. we and our dog felt very comfortable. The hotel is located directly in the Reit im Winkel district, so everything is within walking distance. The restaurant in the hotel can also be recommended. please dear people disregard older reviews because the hotel has new owners who go out of their way every day to make guests feel comfortable. we booked with breakfast and the breakfast is amazing. such a rich and large selection in the mini buffet at every table. In addition, the restaurant and the rooms are very comfortable. hotel to relax and come back. assign a score of 1++++
