The description of the apartment says: "Due to the open staircase, it is not suitable for children under 10 years old." What is an OPEN staircase? The staircase is built-in, narrow and steep, with very short steps and not at all for tall people. Here it should be added "not suitable for the elderly and people over 1.75 meters tall." Carrying a suitcase here was a torment! The bed is only about 30 cm high and sagging. Also not suitable for people over 60 years old. The sagging bed has been mentioned negatively several times since June 2020(!!) in the reviews. I expected this to be fixed a long time ago! The toilet is under the sloping roof, where it is at its lowest. As a tall person, you have to lean back to walk over it... - who installs something like that? Half of the kitchen is under a sloping roof, behind a half-timbered partition, so that behind it is a corridor only 1 meter wide. It is absurd to reach the refrigerator by a tall person (behind the partition - under the sloping roof - in the far corner). It is simply impossible for tall people to work in this part of the kitchen for a long time. The sofa is very soft and uncomfortable. Nothing else to sit on. (and not at all comfortable...) The odd, bar stool-like chairs at the "breakfast table" are so softly upholstered that even a 65 kg person (my wife) always sits on the wooden edge, so that after a short time the legs become numb. Who designs or buys something like this? Of course, no one who would sit on it himself... The first impression when you enter the apartment is "good furniture", but when you have to use it, there is little practical in the apartment. The furniture seems to be quite cheap. We were happy that a week later we were able to live at home again - this has never happened to us on Rügen!

It was difficult to find the house number, the main entrance to the garden, through which you can enter the house, is on the street around the corner. The phone inquiry about where the house is now and how to get the key turned out to be a little complicated: no one answered two of the indicated phone numbers or one of the answering machines - and no one called back. Only on the third phone number did a person call me. The gentleman explained to me how I can get the left key using the code. The location of the apartment in a beautiful house is a little disappointing: it is a "left back door", a little understated in comparison with the neighboring property, a view from the window on a half wall and a bare entrance to the neighboring house. property. (But who wants to look out the window when all of Rügen's nature is waiting !?) On the side, PS to request an estimate: To say that "Neuendorf Beach" is one of the nearest booths is stupid! No offense, but hardly any beach is further from Putbus than Neuendorf in Hiddensee!

The house itself does not have its own Wi-Fi, which can only be accessed through other accommodation. The transfer speed is sometimes only 1MB, at the latest after 10 minutes you are kicked out and you have to log in again, which is quite annoying and time-consuming. The kettle has an open heating coil, as everyone knows, when descaling, chrome plating turns off over time, and the copper remains bare, which is not particularly useful! The mattress is very soft, not for people with back problems! Basic kitchen equipment, nothing for hobby chefs;)

The road to the house is quite busy. But it's still quiet at night. The bed was very soft and you can feel your back resting right on the slatted frame. The apartment on the ground floor has many broken ceilings, so you often have to bend over from a height of 1.75 m.

If we have to write something that we don't like, it would be nice if the front door also had a curtain for the window ;-)

Payment / transfer of keys could be clarified in advance, here I had to "call later" a little.
