We spent 3 days there, despite its position in the city center, it was relatively, very quiet, well, we are also in November, and the attic room is super quiet, we slept too well. That the restaurant is on site is a plus. we will go back....

The reception was exceptionally friendly, we were also given suggestions for walking routes, since it was already dark when we checked in. The room was big and clean, the bathroom was new, big, clean and just great, the heated towel rail warmed enough. The dinner in the restaurant and the breakfast buffet were great. Everyone tried their best to make our stay a pleasant one. Thank you again and we hope to see you again soon.

Beautiful half-timbered hotel with rooms in the main building and a newer annexe, right next to the old town and pedestrian zone. Very good breakfast, which can be taken on the terrace, weather permitting.

In the middle of town with its own parking lot. Small but good breakfast, which actually left nothing to be desired. The room is very traditional (especially the bathroom), in keeping with the house and in good condition (far better than the run-of-the-mill rooms with pressboard furniture that are often found). You can see and notice that the Obere Linde has already seen a lot of contemporary history. For our purposes (wine hike in Oberkirch) it was ideal.

Obere Linde is located directly at the start of the car-free pedestrian zone and has its own large car park. Our room exuded a long tradition at home, with wood paneling on one wall and a four-poster bed with very comfortable mattresses. The breakfast was very varied and of high quality in all parts. Sometimes it's just necessary when you hit another traffic jam: just grit your teeth and here we are at the bus stop, you are greeted with a good drink, and you eat well and sleep well! This is already our favorite hotel to stopover on our way to Italy, not such an unnamed budget hotel, but a cozy family hotel where the holiday is already starting.

The staff were incredibly friendly and the breakfast was very good with a generous buffet. Many types of buns, a good selection of cheeses, many different juices, muesli, jams and spreads, scrambled eggs, bacon and sausages. You can also have breakfast on the terrace. The location on the outskirts of the city center was very good and there was parking.

We were greeted very friendly, given advice about the place and answered all our questions. From our room in the new building (with elevator and shoe shine machine) we had a great view of the garden. There was nothing left to wish for at breakfast and the buffet was organized in such a way that it was not overcrowded. We only had one night but we enjoyed it very much.

Really amazing. This is a historic building (built in 1600) but with all modern amenities. Stylishly furnished yet completely comfortable. Private parking is great, wifi is ok. We didn't try the restaurant, but the breakfast is really one of the best in Germany and at a very affordable price. The country is beautiful, albeit small, but for a trip, stop at the maximum. The stars you truly deserve and at a very affordable price. (perhaps because it was a Monday evening in May). We highly recommend this

I know this hotel before and at the time it was one of the most expensive in Oberkirch. It is a bit old now, but some of the rooms have been refurbished but still exude the charm of the old days. The location is perfect as it is at the beginning of the pedestrian zone. Because of this, the rooms are now much quieter than in the days when the main street was tormented by traffic.

A personal welcome from the hotel manager - especially a personable and polite person - set us up from the very beginning for a wonderful stay at this wonderful renaissance hotel. Every wish was read in our eyes and the hotel manager always found time for a little personal conversation, although she probably had a lot to do. But the entire service team from check in to serving breakfast who were always open for special requests to room service who brought us a charging cable we left lying around contributed to an all round successful stay. It doesn't get any better than this!

Our expectations were exceeded! The room was very comfortably furnished. The bathroom was very large with plenty of comfort and space in the shower. The breakfast buffet was rich and varied. To be highlighted here is the hotel boss who was always friendly, competent and with advice and action to the side. Since we were traveling by motorbike, we didn't arrive at the hotel until 9:00 p.m., which wasn't a problem. There was also a garage for the motorbike.

Owner and staff very accommodating! What is special are the details, which were thought of without being asked, and the personal support. Very well thought out and also practiced corona protection measures! And very child friendly. Thank you, we felt wonderfully comfortable.

The staff, the warm welcome, the quality of service, the food just excellent, we arrived quite late and the restaurant was open until 10 p.m., and beware, not just any restaurant, just sumptuous dishes, service with little care. We stayed two nights to get to Europa Park just 35 minutes away. We will be back next year! Thank you really !! :)

Especially the friendliness of the staff is to be highlighted. I have never felt more welcome in any hotel through a personal approach and through unobtrusive efforts to ensure my well-being. The breakfast was very extensive and delicious. The selection is really very good. The in-house restaurant also had a small but very fine menu. We are repeat offenders, which actually says everything about the Obere Linde. You will be greeted in a friendly and competent manner and also looked after during your stay. The house itself offers atmosphere, good food, cozy rooms (most with a balcony), free parking in the middle of the city and, last but not least, a large terrace with a view of the park-like garden. What is most convincing is certainly the ideal price/performance ratio.

Everyone is handicapped by the pandemic. Breakfast, sausage, cheese etc. was served on shelves, jam, muesli and bread could be picked up from the buffet. All in all great.

In view of the Corona situation, we were well prepared and organized. The speech was personal and very helpful. The room was very quiet with a large bathroom. Due to the central location, it was also easy to get to the place for dinner without a car in the evening.

The friendliness of the hostess throughout the stay (from check-in to breakfast the next day) was impressive. Room was quaint in the typical Black Forest style, just like the hotel building. The breakfast buffet was excellent and exceptionally varied. Regional products are preferred here.

We had a very pleasant stay at the Upper Linde. The spacious, tastefully furnished room was equipped with soft carpet, so that no noise could be heard We looked at the garden and the half-timbered house opposite. Due to the adjacent pedestrian zone, we were not disturbed by any traffic noise. The breakfast was varied, also very suitable for vegetarians. The corona measures were observed in an exemplary manner. This hotel is recommended.

The hostess was fantastic. What hospitality. And how sweet she was to our little one. The hotel has a nice restaurant with an excellent and extensive breakfast buffet. If you like that real German atmosphere, then this is the place for you. The room is spacious and attractive. We have booked an extra day on top of our 2 day stay. We will definitely return here when we are in the area.

Great welcome, when we arrived immediately the receptionist offered us a drink given the heat... Impeccable decor, cleanliness, the room and bathroom nickel, and of course the calm, a very beautiful view from the balcony on the garden which is magnificent. Free parking. The breakfast buffet was very extensive. Dinner at the hotel was also exceptionally good! We haven't eaten this well in a long time. The welcome at the hotel was very friendly, we were greeted with a drink and given the heat when we checked out we got a bottle of water for the way.

We arrived around 9 am and the receptionist asked if we wanted something to drink. My friend wanted a beer, so he got a mug on the way to the room. That's what he liked the most ;) I liked the place, very German, nice room. Described as romantic indeed. Fridge in the room, spacious room, spacious balcony. Nice place to have breakfast in the garden. You can ask for a freshly baked omelette/egg. Very extensive breakfast buffet. If you are in Oberkirch there are also some nice places (eg Biergarten) to drink. Small, but nice.

Management and staff very committed, accommodating and friendly. We had Wuffi with us and was spoiled with a treat every morning. Plenty of time for the extensive breakfast. Although Corona times, still a very wide range and always more than sufficient buffet. Every day room cleaning with change of hand and bath towels. Small wishes, like fried eggs, were gladly fulfilled. Creative room furnishings (historic: beds with canopy, design of the fittings in the bathroom as they were a hundred years ago). Comfortable balcony and in a quiet inner courtyard.
