A good alternative to get to know Würzburg and the surrounding area on the Main.
We slept very well, quiet location and plenty of room for 4 people. Small staircase, Greek restaurant almost opposite, very friendly. Nice seating in the garden in the sun.
The shops are a bit away without a car, but the bus connection is very good.

Pleasant stay in a beautiful setting
The bedroom with double bed is super furnished, the mattresses are very comfortable. The garden is very well maintained. Nice that there is a place to stay for the guests.
The living room is pretty small. For four people it is quite tight at the dining table.

Great for staying in fine weather.
Very good location on the main bike path. Super nice host. The use of the garden is included.
The dining area was too small for the 5 of us. And there is no comfortable recreation area for group games in the evening.

Well equipped, cozy and large apartment
Very nice host. Large apartment with plenty of space. Nice, well maintained garden that you can use. Bus stop 5 minutes walk and 5 minutes from the banks of the River Main. After about 15 minutes walk across the bridge to Veitshöchheim. You don't need a car, there is a good bus connection to Würzburg. We were very comfortable.
If you are used to the absolute silence, you may be confused by the location on the street. It didn't bother us.

Relaxation on the banks of the river Main
It was a wonderful place with a charming hostess. Everything the heart needed was there. Space, love and necessary things. We will be happy to return.
If you had to look for something to complain about, it would only be the lack of a tray for carrying dishes. :-)

A very pleasant stay with pleasant hosts in an idyllic location.
A very pleasant place to stay. The Gries family are very polite and helpful, key handover was very easy and the hosts were always ready to ask questions. The apartment is very nicely furnished, not pretentious, but you will quickly feel at home. There is also a cozy seating area in the garden. The place is very conveniently located and invites you for a longer walk. All in all, the environment is really very beautiful.
Without your own car, you are relatively well connected, with buses to Würzburg running about once an hour. Leisure activities in the village are available, but not outstanding, but so you shouldn't go here anyway. Therefore, placement is recommended in any case.
