Great location and friendly all wishes were fulfilled and a great meal. When we left, the boss put a towel on the motorcycle to wipe it dry. There were 5 of us and we were given a personal farewell.

The family-run hotel is in a very quiet location and is ideal for relaxing, for example for hikers or those in need of relaxation. You can also stop here and eat well (I didn't eat myself) but the portions - from what I saw - and the feedback was all very positive. Breakfast was also sufficient and there was something for everyone.

The location of the hotel is exceptional, incredibly quiet and idyllic, in the middle of intact nature. Located directly on the cycle path and the Marian pilgrimage path. The original furnishings of the rooms from the 80s are very well preserved and a must for all 80s nostalgics. The cleanliness of the rooms and the dining room is second to none. We were really impressed. The landlady told us a lot about the history and was very helpful and tried to make our stay pleasant. The food was also wonderful and we enjoyed it very much on the terrace...

Hotel Buchenmuhle is a classic traditional hotel restaurant that appealed to us, but you have to like the style.

The location of the inn is beautifully situated in nature with a wonderful terrace. We enjoyed the silence.

The house is about 3.5 strenuous kilometers uphill from the Main Cycle Path, but is worth every meter. Located in the middle of the forest, it is very quiet. A bicycle garage is available. The restaurant and breakfast are great. The double room was large, the 1960's style bathroom comfortably spacious. We felt good.

Nice old German hotel. Both the restaurant and the room, which is equipped with classic furniture, create a feeling of well-being! In particular, the location in the middle of the forest ensures a quiet stay, no engine noise or the like. The inn is located directly on the Spessart-Weg, making it a good starting point for hikers on a multi-day tour.

The owner of the hotel (owner for over 25 years) is very attentive and always ready to help his guests. The hotel is a little outside of Laura. The reception was very friendly and very helpful. The room was clean and spacious. the beds were a bit soft with a mattress. The bathroom was very clean and everything worked. The breakfast left nothing to be desired. Since the hotel is in the woods, it was very quiet. Ideal for a relaxing holiday.

Wonderful quiet place in the woods. The beds were good but were a bit lower than we are used to. The decor of the rooms could be updated but will be part of the style of the hotel. Dinner was well prepared as was breakfast. Beautiful terrace overlooking a small river flowing past. More than enough parking space. Good area for walking.

The location and cuisine were very good. The staff are polite and friendly. The interior is original from the 80s (not only retro!) - but everything is in very good condition and comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay.

Despite the day off, we were warmly greeted by the hostess and immediately got drunk! Since it was a public holiday, the kind lady also treated us to lunch at a nearby restaurant! The room and breakfast were very good! I will definitely return!

The location of the hotel is excellent. It is located in a valley below the monastery in absolute tranquility, almost secluded by a small river. The Buchenmühle is a country-style hotel surrounded by nature. Here you will be greeted and served in a friendly and personal manner. Parents at home are very dedicated to their work. I have eaten the best tarte flambé of my life. :-D

Fantastically located. The hosts give you the feeling that you are always welcome. We were a group of four who came by motorbike on a day off. Especially for us, the chef prepared excellent dishes for us and the waiter. serve us. Excellent!

We were on a bike tour with 5 people and were served very friendly.

The place was incredibly beautiful. The building, which is 360 years old, is also very impressive. The retro-styled interior is again drawing attention. But everything was very clean and the boss was very concerned about our welfare. We liked the food too, the Franconian Schäufele was great.

We felt very comfortable, the area is a dream, perfect for hiking. The hostess is very friendly and very helpful. She showed us hiking trails and even called rest stops to ask if they were open. The breakfast was adequate and good! We will definitely visit the beech plant again.

The location in picturesque Buchental is exceptional. No street noise - you can hear only neighboring Buchenbach and birds. Here anyone who really wants to shut down is in good hands - some cellular networks don't even have reception. Free Wi-Fi connects you with the outside world. Very good food and very friendly staff.

The hotel is located in complete silence in the middle of the forest and has a historical atmosphere. The staff and boss were very kind. The food in the garden restaurant was great. There was nothing to complain about the breakfast either. I would like to go there again. :-)

An idyllic old mill nestled in the middle of a forest that can only be reached by a single lane road. For some reason, it seems that time has stopped... I arrived on a motorcycle tour late at night, when the kitchen was already closed. The warm-hearted senior boss prepared a delicious plate of ham especially for me. On the terrace at dusk with an ice-cold beer - wonderful. Clean, comfortable rooms at a very good price - would definitely come back.

Offer for breakfast: good range of cheeses and sausages, daily smoked salmon and homemade fruit salad. It was very nicely presented and always replenished. The owners and team were very helpful and friendly and gave us great days with lots of helpful tips.

Buchenmühle is beautifully secluded in the middle of the forest, a beautiful, old but well-maintained building, the furniture in the rooms has been around for several decades, but everything is very well maintained and clean. Delicious food in the restaurant and good breakfast (no coffee in thermos but freshly made latte macchiato/cappuccino etc.). Of particular note is the pronounced hospitality of the owner and staff who really went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable.

In the beautiful Spessart, Lohr am Main! We stayed one night at this historic family run hotel with the atmosphere you would expect from an old mill! It is beautifully located in the middle of the forest in a clearing. The double room with 3rd bed is spacious, very clean, 70s-80s style, but not worn at all! Dinner was the highlight. Schäufele with crispy crust, dumplings, delicious sauce and coleslaw served in a very nice dining room. I can only recommend, but you have to bring some hunger 😊. From the hotel you can go hiking, which is just part of the Spessart. We would like to return when we have the chance. Thank you for a pleasant stay.

The location of the hotel was quite far from civilization and the personal attention of the staff really benefited us.

Breakfast can be found anywhere in the world! The forest is pleasant for morning and evening exercise.

The location itself is excellent: deep in the forest, but a good 5 km from the village! The Pilgrimage Church rises high above and opposite the hotel; the hotel probably lives on it. We arrived (unannounced) on a public holiday so didn't get to check out the lovely beer garden or restaurant.
