We were greeted very friendly by the staff and the boss and we found an extraordinary hotel. The reception is a small shop where you can buy anything you want, especially decor items, as well as, for example, special coffee. Also in the restaurant there are many things that you can buy. Our room was very spacious and had everything we needed. The restaurant is very cozy, with a small but sophisticated menu and offers delicious, freshly prepared meals. We were served very friendly. Breakfast is served directly to the table and was also delicious. There are many possibilities for excursions. Hohenfelden is very close to its reservoir, adventure pool, open-air museum, climbing park, now in winter with the "Thuringian Brilliant World" and much more. But Erfurt and Weimar can also be reached quickly. We felt very comfortable and happy to recommend him. Thanks a lot! 🙂

Hotel with rustic restaurant where breakfast is also served. The breakfast is good and a combination of buffet and served cheese and sausage platter. The food in the restaurant is very tasty. The hotel is only 10 km from the outskirts of Erfurt. From there (car park P+R) you can easily reach the city by tram.

Our room was the size of a family room, the sofa bed was made for the little ones. Everyone slept very well. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, at dinner even a request for a non-alcoholic children's cocktail was granted. There is a great playground nearby. A big plus, for breakfast you get sausage/cheese right on your breakfast plate, even the buns are already on the table. Everything else, such as yogurt / nutella / muesli, you can take with you. Unfortunately, I didn't take any pictures.
